According to the original timeline, Valen salvius was not to enter the the main city until many months later, however, with Shu XinYi having changed the course of the story, Valen quite furiously made his way to the capital. After the old king died, Valen had been laying low, and trying to maintain his reputation and business through all means possible. The Salvius family were the pioneers of mining from the time the sun set, they were the ones who set the foundation for all this knowledge and resources being distributed.
