"Lilith's sorry..."
"Geez..." Sicily squeezed Lilit's hand, scolding her softly so she won't hurt her much. "You have to be careful with going out alone even though the kingdom is safe! You may never know what will happen."
"Lilith understands..." The little girl further pouted as tears now formed in her eyes. "Lilith will not wander off anymore. Lilith promises mama Sicily."
Seeing that the little girl is already about to cry, Sicily felt guilty for scolding her even though she did it gently. With a sigh, she immediately scooped her in her arms and carried her as they walked back towards the castle.
"I love you, Lilith... you know I don't get angry for a reason." Sicily then kissed the top of her head. "Just don't make me worry too much... okay?"
"Mm..." Lilith then smiled a bit, already feeling better from Sicily's hug and kiss. "Lilith promises."

Even though the King Blanc's and Queen Heraleen's family were invited and were asked to rest for the night, they chose not to.
They were all hanging out in the kingdom's private living room—only exclusive for family so that they will not be disturbed by other demons serving the kingdom.
The children were completely knocked out from their play date a moment ago. As they were sleeping soundly, it's as if the parents had rejuvenated their energy right after taking a cup of coffee.
"Peace and quiet, finally..." Ivar commented, the other parents nodding in agreement as they sipped their coffee.
"Indeed," Ava chimed in, leaning her head on her husband Levin's shoulder. "We should be resting, but it seems that we wanted time for ourselves this night, too."
The room fell into silence. With King Blanc noticing that his son's wife, Angeal, is knitting her brows together while reading a piece of paper, the King of Gehenna called out for her to ask her a question.
"What seems to worry you, Angeal?"
"Oh!"
Her husband, Devin, the king and queen's eldest among the triplets, leaned in closer to look at the paper his wife is holding. Raising a brow as he read the contents of the paper, he commented on it aloud, the others in the living room hearing what he said.
"You're searching about fairies?"
"Mm," Angeal answered, further confirming his question with an explanation. "The children told me something about Lilith while they were playing with her."
Angeal's second statement completely piqued their curiosity. They now looked at her and asked questions one by one as if to discuss what possible immortal could Lilith be.
"What did the children say?" Arvid asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "I asked Blaine how he is with Lilith since he is closer to her compared to the others and he said Lilith is shy and didn't show much... but is willing to play with him most of the time."
"He didn't say any other observations?" Edwin, Arvid's father asked, Arvid, shaking his head no to answer.
"Apparently, he didn't observe anything."
"Annalise said something," Angeal said, getting the attention of others.
Annalise is the youngest child of Devin and Angeal. Compared to the other children, Annalise is the most observant. Even unintentionally, she could see other details without being asked.
"What did our daughter say?" Devin asked, Angeal looking at them as her brows slowly connected together.
"Annalise said that Lilith's eyes would sparkle every now and then. Not in a way that would show excitement or whatever... but it's as if it could turn to glass."
"Huh? Does that indicate something?" Gwen commented and asked, Angeal further explaining what Annalise meant.
"No... but Annalise further told me that her body is warmer than usual. During play time she even asked if she has a fever, but Lilith answered her no."
"Huh... that's weird." Eucraick then spoke, all eyes now on him as they listened to him. "I'm with Lilith most of the time when I have free time and she is not warmer than usual."
"Well..." Devin then chimed in. "Our daughter doesn't say anything usual. She usually talks and comments on something if she finds it unusual. I think this is something that may be bothering her—considering that the weather today is not that hot, too. They didn't even play rigorously."
"True," Angeal agreed, now pointing at the paper she's holding. "I'm guessing it has something to do with her absorbing energy around her."
"Energy?" Levin cocked his head to the side. "Well... it may be possible. Since in the paper, fairies do become 'powerful' with a lot of energy around. It may be emitted from different types of people around her—considering all of us are immortal beings."
"So are you saying that Lilith may be a fairy?" Nevin asked, most of them shrugging their shoulders to answer their question.
"No... but there is a possibility." Devin answered his brother. "Annalise's observation alone is not yet enough to confirm this—considering that she was the only kid who has observed something different from Lilith."
"Don't forget," Dharvey started, everyone's eyes on her. "That there were times that she scraped herself from time to time when she's playing alone. She could not heal that fast. Fairies, per se, can heal themselves and won't get injured pretty quickly. Right?"
Everyone then went silent. As they thought of Lilith, they wondered what kind of immortal being she is. To get an answer to that question, however, they would have to further observe her not only now...
But as she grows up.
