The assassin slit his throat and he fell on the snow. He couldn't see his face in the dark. He tried to shout but the voice didn't come out of his neck and the snow turned red as the blood left his throat. He left and the snow—covered Evgeni slowly. He got buried under it as he healed.
Meanwhile, Laura and Avgustin ran away in the wagon and the assassin couldn't catch them. Either way, his job to kill Evgeni was completed so he didn't put much effort to find the witnesses. Laura cried as she sat inside the wagon, /"How could you just leave Evgeni there?/"
/"So, should I have waited so that he killed us too?/"
/"Use my powers!/"
/"And blow up the entire town? Why didn't you use your powers yourself?!/"
/"Because you know I can't!/"
/"Then sit quietly, we'll go find him tomorrow morning. He can't die, he's a demigod./"
