I was rendered speechless, but my anticipation pushed forward along with my irritation. From the moment Strome mentioned these primordial beings sensed something that wasn't supposed to be there, I began to worry.
"You talk like they are incapable of making mistakes. It could have been what caused them to not notice this world soon enough," I said.
Strome chuckled and then shook her head dispelling it before a coughing fit took over. "Words alone cannot describe their civilisation. They do not make 'mistakes'. I cannot… cannot even." She paused to catch her breath and I let her.
"How do you know of this if you were not with them?" I asked, curious. There was a glint of surprise in her dull eyes. "I know you were not created by that time."
