|NOVEL UNDER RECONSTRUCTION. DO NOT READ YET| "It was never a bright idea to deceive a vampire. Yet, she did it anyway." Human enslavement at the hands of vampires has been long abolished... for the most part. The two races now live in different regions and keep to themselves. But when Hiln falls on hard times, she masks as a lower ranking vamp and finds herself working within the castle walls of the highest ranking vampire nobles. ¬ HILN

I spent my waking moments—like nearly every morning—expecting Fashire to come in anytime soon when my thoughts cleared and I remembered I was no longer staying with him… along with the irritation that came with even bothering about his presence.

It wasn't like he was present much when I stayed in his Chambers.

I shook my head and wiped my face, putting my mind somewhere else and like other mornings too, I meditated for a while trying to understand my essence better and then I dug into the same gruesome memory and brought out the crystal shard.

Previously I had to bleed myself for it to form out of my blood, but now I could call it forth with a simple manifestation and it could morph into any shape or object I knew.

It could be the most dazzling pen, gleaming red jewellery, or any other sufficient material, but merely looking at it reminded me of that rift and the first time I had gotten my hands dirty, unconscious or not.
