Chapter 65

As the bus continued to move the ground felt as if it was shaking. Koryu looked out the window to see a giant hand slam down onto the ground as it hoisted itself back up onto the bridge that the school bus was on. It was a devil, it had to be! 

Ocha: "HEY! HEADS UP!"

Before long the bus behind the one everyone else was in got knocked straight over falling on to its side as the devil screamed out in anger. It felt as if the floor below everyone in the bus was heating up as the area became hotter.

Koryu: "This- It feels just like the egg devil's presence!"

Staying inside the bus was a horrible idea, as everyone was just a sitting duck in there! Ocha then moved to the front of the bus flashing his Devil Hunting identification.

Ocha: "Open the damn bus now! We can't just sit here!"

Quickly the bus driver opened up and everyone was helped off the bus while Ocha instantly transformed into his jellyfish form. Heading straight forward still mid transformation Ocha used the tentacles from his back to restrain and shock the current devil at hand trying to stop it from moving but before ocha could keep it restrained for long it ripped the tentacles apart breaking out of the restrains. Out of everyone here Ocha had the most experience hunting devils but make no mistake Koryu wasn't going to let himself be outshone. The issue was… he barely had any of his fingernails grown and he didn't want to waste his toenails as well. Getting out of the bus the people with devil contracts (Koryu,Yuta,Roger,Ryan,Tyler,) along with the fiends watched as Ocha continued to battle whatever devil this was. Weaving in and out of the punches, ocha moved back and forth twisting and turning while electrifying the devil with each hit. The issue was nobody knew what type of devil this was and there was no clear weakness at the moment. Ocha tried to grab a weapon but he was slammed back by the current devil. It looked as if Ocha was right about to be gut punched, a punch that would pierce through his stomach but right before that was about to happen the fist of another devil slammed forward into the head of the enemy devil. Standing there watching everything happen was Ren, summoning the Monkey devil.

Ren: "The one time I try to relax."

Another electrifying punch slammed forward into the enemy devil Ren sacrificing more of… his hair? For Ren he had to sacrifice the hair on his head to summon Rajang and depending on how much he pushed back his hairline the more of Rajang he could summon. 

At this point most of the summoners didn't want to sacrifice anything or any part of their body as a lot of them had been in fights only a couple days before (like Ryan) but one stood up to try and take their chances. Tyler stood up, sacrificing a piece of his shoulder to summon a completely new devil.

The devil of Radiation. 

All he could summon was the head that already started to charge a blast of radiation that would instantly shoot forward. The issue was… this affects EVERYONE. Normally Tyler would attempt to use the resilience devil but with no animal to sacrifice he had to go with this. A blast of green radiation was sent towards the enemy devil which eroded a huge portion of its side. However, Rajang was still active and took some of the hits causing its arm to go limp. With its free hand it smashed down on the head of the Radiation devil stopping it from making another attack. Tyler then screamed over to the guy with white hair not knowing his name

Tyler: "CONTROL YOUR FUCKING DEVIL!"

While he was screaming this Tyler didn't notice what was happening around him, as the enemy devil flashed his energy at him. Instantly Tyler forgot who he was not knowing the situation anymore and stumbled back. He completely forgot who and what he was. He had lost his memory. Ren instantly noticed this but he was speaking to Tyler while this was happening

Ren: "Are you stupid?! You're using radiation when there's tons of people near b-"

Ren then stopped speaking. As he saw Tyler's head completely fly off its body, blood poured out of his neck as his body toppled over. While the fist of the memory devil smashed his body down into the ground

Koryu just stood there motionless as he watched Tyler's body fall over. This wasn't the first time he's experienced death but it doesn't get any easier. Tons of people have escaped by now leaving only Koryu,Yuta,Orbit,Honey,Ryan,Roger, Ren and Ocha on the bridge. The Memory devil scooped up Tyler's body and swallowed it whole, gaining its strength again as it rushed forward towards Ocha, its original target. Once again Ocha restrained the devil while he could hear Roger transform into his own hybrid self. Although this was great, The Memory devil didn't stop its fight as it gripped onto the leg of Roger and spun him around and around throwing him off the bridge while ripping off his leg. Mid air roger tried to send spines and quills towards the memory devil before he was fully off the bridge.

Yuta: "What do we even do in this situation! It just killed tyler-!"

Without talking Koryu opened his palms which signified Yuta to summon agnor. She did so letting the Anxiety devil hand Koryu his two blades. If he was going to do something about this he had to do it without Velkhana.
