Deadlock:Chainsaw Man

Deadlock, is an AU based on the universe of Chainsaw Man where none of the original characters existed. In Deadlock we follow the two main characters, Koryu Hyoga and Ryuki Suoh and at first have their lives fully separated, one is an 18-year-old high school student while the other is a 36-year-old lawyer. Never having their lives crossed they live out their normal lives, doing what makes them fulfilled however when two Devils become a major threat to all of Tokyo it seems that will have to change (IMPORTANT INFO BELOW) --- Hi everyone, here is some context to this series. Deadlock has been written since February 2023 to June 2023 and has been finished. This plan for this series was 3 parts and as I work on the start of part 2 I felt as if I wanted to release this series to the public instead of just my friends online. TBH im just posting the start of the series to dip into the waters and see how they are. Double side note, this will not be the exact orginal copy, I will have to add some things like character descriptions since the original google doc had images in it. Please share your thoughts and let me know if this is something you would like to see continued as I will upload all of the doc slowly as well as part 2 if this goes well

Chapter 25

Clex and Yuta always had a weird feeling about the hospital, but they weren't here for anything other than one person; they went to the front desk together waiting for a receptionist to greet them.

Receptionist: "oh, its you two"

Clex: "Yeah, we're here to visit Xander. Xander Liminal"

The receptionist led them to where Xander was. He was wearing his polkadot pajamas

and had his lion plushie next to him on the bed.

Xander was only 11 and yet he was in a coma. It was unknown what happened to him but all that Clex and Yuta knew was it had to deal with some sort of devil attack… It was horrible, to say the least, they knew the kid since they were in middle school and he was in kindergarten just starting out. They thought Xander was unique and fun to talk to even if he was just 5 years old and Yuta especially helped him in class when she was a teacher's assistant. After the incident when he was 10 things just got worse for him. His parents couldn't believe their son was stuck in a coma and even after a year he still hasn't come out of it. The two of them just continued to visit, caring about Xander even if he was asleep. They would talk to him in hopes that he could hear them but Yuta and Clex never really knew if he was able to. After about an hour or so it was time for them to leave as visiting hours were going to end soon. It was nice seeing him but still sad that he was in this situation. Everyone just had to hope and wait… to see if Xander will ever come out of his coma.
