Meeting the whole bat family (chapter 16)

Chapter 16

Kai's chest rose and fell with measured breaths as he continued to apply pressure. Liang's movements grew weaker, his resistance fading with each passing moment. The audience, a mix of awe and tension, watched in silence as Kai's mastery of Jiu-Jitsu unfolded before them.

With a final, calculated squeeze of his legs, Kai forced Liang 'The Thunder' Chen to submit, causing him to disappear, "finally," he said as he smiled while falling to the ground, as he looked at the time remaining of the time dilution, [1 second (normal outside time): 3 month,] "huh, what should i do then? I have already achieved my goal for this dilution" he asked himself as he took in a deep breath, "well, breaking my body is always fun," as he had a pondering look.

-scene change-

"Maybe i should have broken my body this match" kai laughed painfully as he leaned again the original tree he was at when he first stated the dilution, his legs could be seen, stained with dirt and grass as he left behind a trail, "well, only 20 day are left so" he said as he closed his eyes, falling a sleep, and since his body didn't need to eat or drink, he slept, for a really long time, he slept for as long as his body needed to heal, unaware that 20 days have already passed.

When the weather, the time and the life returned to the world, kai who had grassess growing on his body as the world returned to life, the grass growing on him poofed out of existence as he woke up, "what?" he asked in confusions as he looked around, noticing that life has returned to the world, " Did time already pass?" he asked himself as he got up, that is when he notice the changes in his body, "whoa ok" he said in surprise as he looked at his body which now had even more refined muscles, which were bigger, as he clutched his hand, he could feel the strength in his fist as he smiled.

"Looks like a continued period of strenuous exercise, followed by a long period of recovery is the ultimate way to build my body" he said as he smiled.

"Now imagine i do this for 2 years,or 4 years, heck imagine 100 years, that would turn my body into the ultimate martial art body" he said as the smile on his further widened, "the ultimate martial arts and the ultimate body, all that is left is the ultimate mind and i will be perfect human" he said as he looked around, "but for now, its time to learn a new martial art discipline" 

-scene change-

"This city get crazier and crazier each time" kai though as he saw several people shake in fear, while others also lashed out in fear, others begged, "we are all going to die" yelled a random citizen as kai walked through the of the city when suddenly, he felt slight tingling sensation in his stomach, like a small heat burning his abdomen, he then suddenly stepped aside, causing a man with brown hair, to hit where he was standing with a bat, "i am going to kill before i die" he said as he swung his bat again at kai who ducked before uppercutting the man, knocking him out cold.

"Well" he said as he stepped over the man, "this is just a random Tuesday at Gotham," he said as he walked nonchalantly, "given that they are afraid, i guess its scarecrow" he mused as he dodge another big man being thrown out of a building, that is when suddenly, large amount of vegetation consisting of pink flowers and green leaves appeared, running through the city and climbing the tallest of the building, "and now poison ivy joined the fun" he said with a groan.

However, he noticed something with the people, "they are crying, no longer in fear" he said in a surprised tone as they stopped shaking in fear, "well, gotham will be gotham"he said as he sighted.

-scene change-

On top of his apartment complex rooftop, kai could be seen, eating a pack of noodles and he watched a video about krav maga, when suddenly, he heard a thud as someone came to his roof in a acrobatic style, "nightwing?" he thought as another person appeared with a grappling gun, she wore a bat suit but the obvious difference was that she was a woman, with red hair, "batwoman" he thought as his expression grew weirded.

However, this wasnt even the end as a large bat symbol appeared on the cloud, as red robin, the signal, spoiler, orphan, the original batgirl, batwing, "even harley quinn, what is this the next bat god?" Kai said out loud, nearly yelling as he got the whole bat squad or bat family attention, giving him a weird look, "if you are done with your victory pose, can you leave? I am trying to eat in peace here," he said, further getting an even more confused look.

"Hey there neighbor" harvley said in her usual cheerful tone, as she got another look from the bat family, "he lives next to me, he is a good neighbor" harley said as kai stood up, "never mind i am just gonna go down" he said as he looked for the lid to his noodle cup before standing up only for orphan to be staring at him inchest away, "oh fuck" he said in a suprise definetly manly scream as he spilled his noodles, "can you stop sneaking up on me, that was a good noodle" he said as orphan said, "you grew…"as kai stood up, towering over the batgirl, "taller" she finished.

"Are you calling me fat?" he said, trying to be funny, key word, trying, but orphan remained quite, spoiler who was one of the batgirls, seemed surprised at their interaction given that she and orphan seemed to be quite close, as kai went past her, "i need to improve my environmental awareness" he thought to himself, as he went over the edge of the building before he crouched and leaping into the next rooftop, yes leaped, although the next the gap between the rooftops were not that big, he still did it effortlessly, "he is built quite well" said red robin as signal nodded, who like orphan, knew how well kai could fight, "he also seemed to be trained in martial arts, " batwoman said, "specially his hands, they hands that are built for boxing" batwing added.

 "so, you two seem to know each other"spoiler who approached orphan said, "not that much" orphan replied as batgirl had a thoughtful look, "am i the only one who sees the resemblance between him and batwing?" nightwing asked as he got a weird look from the batwing.

"His name is Kai fox, a 24 year old orphan " batgirl said, earning a surprised gasp from the bat family, "so what?we share the same last name?" batwing said, "weird" batgirl said as they looked at her, "his seem to have display some genius level intellect when he was younger, especially with technology, engineering and business tactics, and singing, specially singing and engineering, but for reason he decided to do boxing" batgirl said, "quite a waste in my opinion, i mean with a looks like that, the modelling industry would have been turned on its head" she added, "i dont think its wasted" batwoman said as batwing had a thoughtful look while he frowned.
