"Grandpa, it was them… they killed all our people. Damn it, damn it!!!"
"Ahhhh!!!"
Granolah's rage intensified as he spoke, his veins bulging and his eyes bleeding with fury.
"Granolah, calm down! You can't take them on alone…" Monaito urged, sensing the change in Granolah and trying desperately to soothe him.
But it was no use.
"Grandpa, I need revenge. I need to avenge our people. Even if it costs me my life, they all deserve to die."
Granolah wiped away the blood and tears from his face and removed the glasses-shaped robot, Oatmeel.
Once detached, Oatmeel floated in mid-air.
"Oatmeel, take care of Grandpa Monaito…"
"Granolah, what are you planning to do? If you're going to fight, I can assist you. You shouldn't abandon me," Oatmeel insisted.
"Haha, no need. Just take care of Grandpa for me." Granolah's voice was cold. "I know the gap between Gas and me. Even with your help, I probably don't stand a chance. But I have my reasons—I must fight."
At this moment, Granolah's anger reached a fever pitch. Not only were blood and tears streaming from his eyes, but his pupils had turned a deep, blood-red.
"Is this…?" Elec was taken aback by Granolah's transformation.
"Both eyes… have mutated?"
Normally, only a Cerealian's left eye would mutate. A situation like Granolah's, where both eyes had changed, was unprecedented.
Granolah began walking toward Elec, his steps slow and deliberate. As he moved, a strong wind whipped through the air, making the hem of his clothes flutter. A star-shaped Dragon Ball pattern suddenly appeared on his forehead, and a green Ki aura surrounded him.
Monaito's lips trembled as he watched. He seemed to age even more, murmuring to himself, "This child… has suffered so much…"
Elec's expression hardened as he watched Granolah's approach.
Suddenly, Granolah accelerated, his body becoming a blur.
"Gas, save me…"
Whoosh!
Gas appeared instantly, positioning himself between Elec and Granolah.
Granolah's eyes glowed red as he threw a powerful punch with his right fist, blazing with fury.
Boom!
Granolah's fist connected with Gas's chest, creating a thunderous impact.
But what happened next was shocking—Gas didn't budge an inch, while Granolah was sent flying backward from the recoil. His face turned pale as sweat poured down his forehead.
Granolah twisted in mid-air, managing to land on his feet, but his right arm was numb, and it felt as though the bones were cracking.
Seeing this, Elec breathed a sigh of relief. His younger brother was reliable—worthy of being the number one warrior in the universe. Without even needing to attack, just standing still had caused Granolah immense pain. Perfect.
"Ahhhh!!!"
Granolah roared in frustration, his energy surging once more. He began rapidly firing green Ki blasts from both arms, aiming directly at Gas and Elec.
The barrage of Ki blasts was overwhelming, a torrential downpour of energy that made Elec's heart race with fear.
But Gas stood firm, giving Elec a sense of security. Gas snorted, raising his right hand as a purple flame materialized into a massive shield, blocking the onslaught.
The green Ki blasts collided with the shield, resulting in a series of horrific explosions. But behind the shield, everything remained calm. Gas and Elec weren't even touched by the smoke.
The power gap between them was too great.
After a few moments, Granolah was left panting, his attack finally ceasing. The intense barrage had drained his energy rapidly. Despite his enhanced vision and precise control, every Ki blast had been perfectly targeted, yet they had all failed to break through Gas's defenses. Granolah felt a deep sense of despair.
Buzz~
Suddenly, a spear of purple flame shot through the air.
Granolah's pupils contracted as he instinctively moved back, but the spear continued to grow larger in his vision until it finally pierced his chest with a sickening pop.
Blood splattered everywhere as Granolah's chest exploded in pain.
It's over…
Granolah felt his eyelids grow heavy as he collapsed backward, losing consciousness.
Seeing Granolah fall, his blood pooling on the ground, Monaito's legs gave out, and he cried out in despair, "Granolah!!!"
But Granolah didn't stir.
"Dammit… Granolah is dead…"
"These monsters…"
Monaito, a man who had lived for hundreds of years, couldn't help but break down in tears. Images of Granolah growing up, struggling through life, flashed before his eyes.
But now…
He was gone.
That stubborn child.
The one who had stayed by his side all these years.
"Muezli, I'm sorry… I couldn't protect your son."
Muezli was Granolah's mother.
On the other side, Elec approached Granolah's body cautiously, nudging it with his foot. After confirming that Granolah was dead, he burst into loud laughter. "Hahaha! Granolah, you could have lived a decent life, but you had to go against me. Now you're dead. Hahaha!"
Standing up, Elec waved his hand and ordered, "Macki, Oil, take care of Monaito. We'll need him the next time we summon the dragon, so keep him in good condition."
"Yes, brother." Macki nodded, stepping forward to once again control the grief-stricken Monaito and the glasses-shaped robot, Oatmeel.
Elec continued, "You two will stay on Planet Cereal and search for the Dragon Balls. Gas and I have another mission. We need to eliminate all the powerful beings in the universe who stand in our way, consolidate our forces, and elevate the Heeter Family to the pinnacle."
Macki and Oil's eyes gleamed with excitement as they envisioned the Heeter Family becoming the true overlords of the universe—the most powerful force in existence.
Just then, Gas coldly reminded them, "Macki, Granolah swallowed a Dragon Ball."
"What?" Macki was taken aback.
This unexpected news was a surprise. If they had one Dragon Ball, it would make finding the other much easier. They could make another wish.
The Dragon Ball was inside Granolah's body, and they could retrieve it simply by dissecting him.
Elec hadn't anticipated such a stroke of luck and said, "Well, I'm not one for bloodshed, so I'll leave the dissection to you. Gas and I will return to the family base. Once you find the other Dragon Ball, you can extract it from Granolah's body with Oil."
"Uh, okay," Macki agreed.
"Gas, let's go," Elec instructed.
"Okay." Gas responded curtly, then moved to Elec's side. With a swift motion, their figures blurred and vanished, returning to the Heeter Family base.
Watching them disappear, Macki couldn't help but sigh, "As expected of the strongest in the universe. They don't even need a spaceship to get home."
"Yeah, Gas is really something," Oil nodded in agreement.
Macki glanced at the unconscious Monaito and the seemingly deactivated Oatmeel before turning her attention to Granolah's lifeless body.
Oil chuckled and said, "Hehe, Macki, you'd better dig out the Dragon Ball. I'm too scared."
"Haha, okay, I'm a man, I'm not afraid." Oil, ever the dependable one, smiled at his sister before approaching Granolah's body and squatting down.
At that moment—
Poof!
Oil's head was suddenly sent flying into the air.
Macki watched in horror as Granolah, covered in blood, stood up, trembling but alive.
