COURTNEY REVEALS WHO IS THE EVIL FORCE

Courtney ponders with the questions on her mind, 'Maybe he wasn't aware until recently, recalling when he found her for the wedding he had no idea what I was talking about.

Closing her eyes knowing now with Pappie and Mom's home, she will have to find a way to protect herself without revealing the truth to them. When Moms touch her, "Are you alright child?"

"I am fine Mom's, it's just a slight headache, maybe if I take a lie down I should feel better.

Knowing now what must be done thinking, 'If only Tamara had married him and came here she would have died that very first day she conceived, because of the blood hedge around me, I am still alive.'

Hearing Pappie saying, "No child, only the Dawson heir." "Thanks Pappie I am so relieve now, but I only hope you will you be angry if on the evenings I anoint the house and lock the door, that is just to be on the safe side?"

"Child, Carlos is a stubborn one, if he comes in the morning will you be lenient with him. Rawlins said since he started working he has learned a lot, I am glad he gets out of the house much less work."

"I hope you know if he will just use his brain he would do well for himself."

Courtney went to bed but the fear of anyone opening the doors kept her awake. She didn't fall asleep until the clearing of the morning. That went on for the entire week.

One week after the conversation between Pappie, Mom, and myself, Rufus made arrangements to come and take me to the mill so Pappie can have the use of his van.

Sitting in the van observing the way he keeps glimpsing at me, I was becoming angry, 'I wonder what he is thinking.'

Turning I glance at the view, the water looks so beautiful with the sun dazzling, hearing him sigh, as though he had a problem.

Could it be he is angry having to come and pick me up, I supposed Uncle or Pappie has spoken to him,

Looking at him he seems very concerned,

Ignoring him once more when he stops the van and reaches under the seat taking out a gift bag.
