"Okay, considering what you are telling is true, First let me check your accounting knowledge." After saying that Cindy gave him several accounting Questions and Ledger's to solve.

Going through all of them Ved didn't even require two to three minutes, but to make it seem not too eye-catching he took a total of 10 minutes to answer them properly.

Seeing his speed made Cindy quite surprised as even this speed was unprecedented, his speed of calculating was just out of her imagination.

" Okay Ved your foundation is quite solid. Have you brought you're the guardians letter?"

Ved gave her the letter, which he had already prepared. It had been signed by the warden a lot time ago. She had given him this letter in the hopes if he required her help in the future he could use it, and today was that time.

"So you three truly are an orphan and your guardian is the warden of the Lost Nest orphanage! I am really sorry for not believing you." Cindy was a little apologetic because she truly hadn't believed that he was an orphan and just thought that he was trying to Get her favour through sympathy.

"It's okay, ma'am, I don't really mind," he replied while putting a nonchalant expression on his face, because it truly wasn't him who was an orphan and had lived a hard life.

So he could put a straight face while saying this but Cindy thought that he was just feigning a tough front to hide his deep emotions, this had already given him some good points in Cindy's mind.

"Okay! with your foundation in accounting. You can start your job here. So what time would you like to come and what salary are you expecting?" even though she was the one interviewing him the results of the interview had already exceeded her desired results.

She knew that Ved would be a good employee so she didn't have to worry too much about his work time.

" Ma'am, as you know I have classes in the morning, so I would like to come in the evening for my accounting work. As for the salary, can you give me some approximate measurements of how much you can pay me?" Ved gave a straight answer without holding anything back and asked for his salary.

" For your work to be in the evening is no problem as for the salary, as you have just started it will be around 23,000 including all taxes. But if you continue your work properly in three to four months, this can go up to 30,000 or even 50,000 if you are given promotions." Cindy replied with an almost mechanical voice like replaying the same answer again and again had bored her.

" Okay, ma'am, then I will start tomorrow."

the income which he had expected in his mind was no more than 16 or 17 thousand as it was shown on the internet, but him getting around 23,000 at the get-go was not out of his expectations.

While Cindy was organizing his file he asked a question which he had prepared even before he comes here.

" Ma'am. Can I get my salary in advance for this month and do my work from my home?" Ved asked without even hesitating or feeling embarrassed about it.

He was lacking money now and he wanted to start his nutritious diet as soon as possible, in the seven days his injury had already been healed and he was ready to start working out and slowly build himself up so that he could somehow get the secrets from the person living adjacent to him, also with Abby he would only take 10 minutes to complete his work so he didn't want to just waste his time travelling and faking of doing the work rather he would complete the work at home and send it to the office directly through the net.

Cindy who was just managing the files halted for a second but before replying she thought, that this kid probably required the money and him asking her without hesitating was a good sign because it indicated that he was honest.

After 2 minutes of silence, she said,

" Okay, but you have to sign the contract today itself and you cannot leave your job for the next 6 months at least," she replied.

Because she knew that his exams would come in 6 to 7 months, she knew that he might have to take a break from the job and start again later.

So she didn't mind him leaving the job, but she wanted him to at least work for 6 to 7 months to at least repay her trust.

" I have no problem with that ma'am." after he replied Cindy went out and came back in five minutes, with two contracts.

After signing the contracts one copy was given to her while one was kept for himself and he was given a check of 23,000 gems.

After bidding Cindy goodbye he first went to the bank to cash out his check, after seeing the 23,000 gems in his hand he couldn't help but smile because this was the amount with which he would start his Road to Immortality.

He first went to a hardware store to get all the tools required to make the centrifuge, it took him no more than 3000 gems to buy all the necessary equipment.

After that he went to a glassware store to buy some of the Products which he could later use to build a distiller, the glassware products cost him around 5,000 gems.

Later, he went to a medical shop to buy all the various products which could provide him with vitamin-mineral and necessary nutrients in his body. He also packed some of the first aid kit, if something went wrong he needed to be ready.

After that, he went to a Herbal Market to buy all the herbs and necessary commodities for his Nutrient solution, altogether the amount that he has used had come up to 9000 gems.

If he used his previous scholarship money for saving to fund his research he might have to wait for the next 4 years.

After seeing that everything that he needed has been bought he went to a convenient shop for his daily necessities and brought some food with good nutrition value for him, and went back to his apartment.
