Eric was able to calm him down in some way.We looked at each other.

A day later

"Where is Emily? Is she still not home?""No. She told me that she will come in the morning.""But it's now 12:00 o'clock! I'm concerned about her."

"Ding!Dong!"It was Emily.She was exhausted and all she wanted to do was sleep."Where have you been? You told your mom that you will come home in the morning but its afternoon!?!"

Her mother handed her a glass of water.

"I was at college, Papa. I told you before that I needed to finish my architectural homework. I haven't slept whole night. Could we please discuss later?"Richard was able to catch his breath once again.

AROUND 2PM IN DRAWING ROOM

Phone rang

" Richard Harington, who am I speaking to?"

"Officer Andrew here! Is Marie Harington, you daughter?" The officer inquired.

"She certainly is! What happened? Is she alright?"

"I'm sorry, but your daughter is in horrible shape. On the phone, I can't tell you much. Please come to Texas as soon as possible."

"Could you just explain me what happened?""I said, please come right now!"

The officer felt bad for the father after what he witnessed.After waking up, Emily dashed into the drawing room."What's the matter, Dad?"

"There is no time to converse! Grab some of your clothes! We're on our way to Texas right now, and I'll tell you everything on the way to the airport."

14th January,2017

Dear diary,

Today, it was the first day of my college. Everyone in my classroom was gazing at me when I walked in. It was nothing new to me. Even in school, I had several proposals that I turned down due to my studies. I noticed a handsome young man making his notes. He was sitting alone so I went to him and asked him if I could sit with him and he agreed. His name is Camron.

By evening lecture, we became friends.He told me that he was from New York.

18TH January,2017

Dear diary,

I began to feel a connection with him; it wasn't simply friendship, but something more. I suppose I'm in love with him.

23rd January,2017

Dear Diary,

Today, Cameron took me for a dinner date. We even danced for a bit before he proposed to me with a diamond ring inscribed with MC which stood for Marie and Cameron. I couldn't have imagined anything better.

25th January,2017

Dear Diary,

We officially became the ideal pair at college, but not everyone was pleased, especially Daniel. When I went to the restroom, he barged in and closed the door. I was frightened. He was attempting to touch me, but I opened the door and told Cameron everything. He was so upset that fought with Daniel. Daniel was suspended for two days and Cameron was given a two-hour detention by the principal. Today, Daniel texted me, "YOU ARE ONLY MINE, AND I CAN DO ANYTHING FOR YOU!" I did not respond and instead blocked his phone number.

27 January,2017

Dear Diary,

Everything went OK until Daniel arrived at school. He removed his shirt and revealed a tattoo of my name on his chest. "CAMERON, Listen! LEAVE HER, OR YOU WILL PAY FOR HAVING MY GIRL."

I confronted him, smacked him in front of the entire institution, and told him, "Daniel!

Cameron is my true love, not you. Get out of here and never show me your fucking face again."

28TH JANUARY,2017

Dear Diary,

I'm completely stressed out! Daniel is bothering me by texting me from various numbers.To calm me down , Cameron called me today and said that he will take me to a Concert tomorrow. I just want to live in peace.

Narrator's POV

Emily and Richard were worried for Marie. They both arrived in Texas. Richard dialled on the officer's phone number, "I've arrived. Where do I need to go?"

"I'm texting you the location of a hospital.Come there."

"Hospital! Why don't you just tell me everything right now!?" Richard yelled at the cop."Your daughter was molested and thrown into the Blanco River."

"What!?"When Emily and Richard arrived to the hospital, they found her in suffering. Cameron was also present. He became a motionless statue with tears streaming down his cheeks.

According to Marie's statement, some boys called Eric, Nambier, and Daniel gang raped her before throwing her into the river. She just recalls waking up in the hospital after that."DANIEL!!"Cameron shouted when stood up.

"Who are you?" Emily inquired.

"I am Cameron, Marie's Boyfriend."

"Why didn't you protect her? She used to tell me that you cared for her, but where were you when she truly needed you? WHERE WERE YOU WHEN SHE WAS MOLESTED BY THESE FOUR HUMAN-FACED DEVILS!?
