A heavy heart

"Hey! snap out of it." Aria said, shaking his shoulders.

"Huh?" Blake mumbled, slowly turning his head towards her. His eyes were listless, and his mouth was still widened in shock.

Seeing the frozen expression on his face, Aria let out a heavy sigh, barely holding back the urge to smack her face.

Without needing Blake to explain to her, she already understood why he was acting like this.

"He killed Karl… and he would have killed us also. You can't feel bad for his death." She muttered, lightly patting his shoulder.

'It's kind of strange that you're the one bothered when it was Edward's blade that finished the job.' Aria thought, a weird glint flashing across her eyes.

'Yeah, that's right…' Blake mumbled inwardly, but his mind was still in disarray.

Even though he knew the man was evil, it still felt very wrong to kill him in cold blood.
