Day 71-85 Talks & Lin Yin

*Tap!* Xinghe landed with no issue with his back turned to Shannguan from the air. Techlis landing to his side with a few scratches along the backside.

Zhao Ning was still dealing with the wolves and despite his concerns, he would honor her wish of handling it as she wanted. A quick look at the area defintely painted a dangerous picture.

"Nice fight." Reaching over, he added his own Star Energy into the healing process of the other. This caused the healing along the body's surface to be healed in seconds with Liang Yu only focusing on his Internal Organs now. "Even tamed the biggun, that is really nice."

They both knew it was not fully grown, but that was not the point. It was big compared to them. With the potential to push forward into a force to be reckoned with.

"Thanks, but it would be best if I focus a little more on increasing the power of the Metal Seed and not so much time studying the other techniques. Almost bit the bullet a few times." The energy from the Star Martial Dantian would defintely help during the fight but that was not the issue. "I need to refine my body to embrace the benefits better."

*Woom!* With a circulation of the Heart Method from Xinghe, he was aware the other was more worried about killing the beast by accident after a certain point. Which cut his fighting process down a good bit.

Worried about the other families attacking ahead of time plagued his mind to much as well. Compassion and Care for others defintely were more in him than what was thought.

"Nonsense, it is for the best we fight and develop more and this fight only proved that 9th Heavenly Layer people are not our match." Xinghe sent the Heart Method out landing on Shangguan Xuan in the distance. "Little lovesick carp of Ye Tianhong, how long are you going to remain out there?"

Shangguan Xuan stepped out of the woods walking towards them both. She did however keep a good distance between the two. A bit of residual lightning qi moved around. Liang Yu only leaving it out due to needing a fast withdrawal if need be.

"Smart to stay back, we could be really bad guys." Yinghe teased with a smile. "Don't think because you are in the Celestial Realm you are capable of killing us both." Her eyes narrowed looking at him critically. "Careful now, weakness is showing. Not just talking of your current body from the fight you had in the past."

"Who are you?" Shangguan was suprised he looked a little like Ye Tianhong, but only in the face a little. Both his hair and aura were vastly different. 'Is he a member of the Azure Feather Family in the area?'

"Just a guy is all." Raising his arms and giving a shrug, he decided not to kill her like last time. After all, the techniques gained from her were still known to him and she was still recovering. Better to wait until after she made some moves around the Country. "You may call me Ye Xinghe, Patriarch of the Azure Feather Clan. This silent one is Liang Yu of the Dark Moon Family."

Liang Yu gave a simple nod as he focused on healing. Aware that the Prime Soul was growing stronger while pushing the Heart Method further. Protecting their interests would be easier in a bit if what was felt was good.

The Dark Moon Family would defintely send a few 6th Heavenly Realm Martial Artists soon if they weren't watchful of it.

"You know a lot by the looks of it." Shangguan was composed but that didn't matter when your opponent ate a part of your soul and knew how you acted. Even more so when they could match you in strength and had tricks up their sleeve. "Taming Demon Beasts with ancient techniques to."

"Well, the best way to take back some of the land." Xinghe shrugged. "I wonder if it works on Demon Beasts that have taken human form? One like yourself little fishy."

Taking the previous mention as just a fluke, the old female carp was on complete guard now. Mouth tightened under the veil that obscured the bottom of her face.

"Since you are free now from the Lake Seal, you plan on going to get beaten up by the Demon Emperor now?" Feeling her weakened state, she would lose against the Demon Emperor the same as before. 'How much could she really offer if refined?'

"What do you know about the Demon Emperor?" Shangguan's eyes narrowed intently.

Only awakening a few days ago from the seal, she found herself still out of touch with everything. Especially areas of Blue Carp Town that was protected by a seal placed down.

"Sorry, only answers from you. You tell me if you really think you can beat someone who has spent time improving while you have screwed around like this sealed away." Xinghe gave her no real ground to intimidate him.

"For someone only in the 5th Heavenly Layer, you are quite arrogant."

"Hehe, more than enough to deal with you." Xinghe was provoking her now. the Oysters was putting up a good fight steel and a fight on the outside would defintely help push along. "Let's play around. I will touch you in ways that old womanizer never did!"

*Woosh!* His qi shot out ready to fight. To Shangguan it was impressive in its purity only. But it was still just that at the 5th Heavenly Layer. The power of CHampion preventing her from probing his body unless he allowed it.

"Wait, let her be." Liang Yu, the voice of reason understood the severity if she was left alive for now. She could run trouble for the Demon Emperor while the others grew stronger and themselves as well. "If she goes and engages him, it only makes it easier for us later."

"Fine." Xinghe gave Shangguan a look over especially the veil she wore. "So much skin showing, you old virgin like people staring at you I bet." As she was about to strike him in annoyance, they disappeared in a flash of light.

Lightning blinding her from the surroundings. But Liang Yu was not the only one that made a move.

*Crrk!* Ice was around Shangguan's feet keeping her in place. With a small flex, she broke from it but didn't check overall the small bit of his energy that entered her. Best to always leave a little surprise in a possible enemy.

"This insufferable brat!" Considering he was gone without a trace and was so confident, she did not pursue. Barely even putting what he said into consideration. Arrogance was the downfall of many. She was not immune to it. "I will have to move the tree later."

The thing about that, is that Liang Yu rode the Liger to go and snatch up the Divine Eclipse Tree and the scattered fruit. His Astral Sense already going out to help him find the other Heavenly Weaves Demon Beasts.

A risk in his current condition, but the Liger he tamed was stronger than others already. Communicating with it, revealed a lot about the Demon Beasts in the area. A den of Scarlet Serpent Demon Beasts were causing trouble and he had the perfect use for the infestation that were already to close to the town.

Ye Xinghe went back to the Lake wanting to grab some more of the water to place in his Internal Space. PLus the Giant Oysters was still fighting back and taking a break will give him the focus to completely subjugate it now.

Two pieces of Superior Purple Jade were given to the other for personal use. One affixed to the head of the Liger with the impartation of some techniques and human speech more. The second was used by Liang Yu to help his body recover by mixing it with the Metal Seed.

Making his presence known before he landed, Lin Yin looked up seeing Xinghe. The power he exuded frighten the teen heiress. Much more than it did earlier because of the qi waves emitted by his body.

"I didn't think you would be able to come here.." She felt qi wrap around from him onto her. A type of heat that dried her clothes off and healed scars on her body. "..thank you." She was taken back but grateful he didn't take any liberty with her or make a comment on her appearance beforehand.

"You are wanting to take control of your life right?" Xinghe smiled. Seeing as he was defintely stronger than her, Lin Yin hope this wouldn't go bad. He sat down criss-cross and circled the Heart Method to strike at the Giant Oyster with increased ferocity. 'Just gonna kill you now and use that knowledge to help tame the other frozen oysters!'

As his Dantians circled out qi to attack the Giant Oysters, his Internal Space grew wider from the shed pieces.

"Are you here to recruit me or something?"

"I'll admit, I did admire you quite a bit when I was younger, but at the same time, I thought you were kind and gentle then." Ye Xinghe said without any pretense. "You have quite a pitiful tale but I won't bring that up to harm you outright. I would like to recruit you because I believe you have a soft spot for children and you are good at moving around."

Lin Yin was taken back in his mentioning. Trying to make sense on how he knew about her coming and goings around the town. Especially her fondness for children that only happened when she was sure to be able to escape the view of her family.

"I do but our society will ruin the same as it ruins others. Let alone the nobles and other aristocratic families that are causing issues. Yourself included."

"That is where you can come in." Xinghe moved up to face her. His breath and qi brushing against her body. "I want you to be one of the Saintess that watch over my people. Your skills at reading the intent of people's hearts will help with governing. But it requires work."

"So you really do want to swallow the entirety of Blue Carp Town." Lin Yin did not look away and held her ground. "Explain this Saintess to me further."

"The people need a firm hand but also a kind one to help through these times. The Imperial Family is corrupt as you should already be able to tell. The Great Families are more of a nuisance than anything. Unable to govern without thinking about themselves and pushing for further gain instead of seeing what is in front of them."

As Ye Xinghe told her, her job was to be to lead the people to assure them while protecting them from themselves. He let her know that many would fail and need to be put down. But that was not her job, that was his. She was to help make sure the people were treated fairly and obeyed the laws.

A job of a Mediator, Lawyer, Police, and a few others rolled into one. Not like those who were studying the positions in the Azure Feather Clan were anywhere close to that point yet.

"Marriage would seal that easily giving you control of the Lin Family." Lin Yin admits showing distaste at only being a pawn still. "I like the sound of the job but I still answer to you."

"The Lin family will be absorbed the same as others in time. Traditions will be swallowed up and clan law will be abolished to give way for Civil Law. A spokesperson would still be needed over the years to help of course. Dissent will have to be met with the advancement of the current generation and the next to be dealt with."

"Then win the Lin Family Tournament." Her mind was made up. "I will become your wife in name and act on your orders easily if you do so."

Xinghe gave her a piece of glass with Flame Vortex Core Qi inside. As well as putting a rune on her. "Cultivate this and study these stronger techniques."

Imparting the movement techniques and the higher Flame Martial Arts, the two conversed a little more before breaking off from one another. Lin Yin heading home to make preparations. A runic symbol on her hand glowing as wayward qi was pulled into her finally.

One thing Xinghe missed was the fervor in which Lin Yin watched him depart into the water. The teen was ambitious and couldn't help but be thrilled at being a part of something that would change her living situation as well as future generations.

In the water, Ye XInghe focused on his cultivation fully. Bringing his last Dantian up to the 5th Heavenly Layer, he barely refrained himself from devouring the large Superior Jade Piece the Giant Oyster was protecting.

Inside was an embryo of sorts that looked to be alive. In the process of breaking through its hard shell, it did not survive. Which was not an issue considering it took to much to raise the Giant Oysters in a water environment.

He needed the water more than them anyway. The shell was used to expand the Internal Space further as it was broken down into qi further. The meat was preserved for consumption later.

A tingle across the skin prevented him from leaving the water just yet. It was pleasant and made him feel to good during the cultivation process. Leaving later would be good enough.
