After the incident Hermes was still thinking about what Erebus said to Astraea.

'making a hero... absolute evil...'

Hermes thought to himself of what happened in this accident.

'Evilus attacked... both alfia and Zeld died... many people died... Even Lydia... My familia needs to get stronger... I can't let this happen again.' Hermes thought with a firm expression.

'First... I need a new member. This time, one focused more on combat. like Falgar.'

"Heey, Asfi. Wanna go somewhere" He said with a playful expression.

"Ugh, lord Hermes. Can't you see that I'm working. And why do you even want to go?" Asfi asked.

"To get a new member." Hermes said with a serious tone.

"..."

"So where are we going" Asfi asked.

"...to get some information." Hermes said, still with a serious face.

"..." Asfi was silent once more.

'I get that this incident hit him but... I didn't know it was to this extent.' Asfi thought.

Then they entered a bar.

"Yo Charles" Hermes greeted the man, taking a seat.

"Hmm? Hermes, pleasant surprise. And Asfi too... So what kind of information do you want." the man asked, seeing Hermes's serious look.

"I need to know if there are any good fighters left in Orario. I want to invite some of them in my familia."

"Hmm, I see. A few of your familia's death opened your eyes even further I see... Well, you're in luck."

"Oh, so who is it?" Hermes asked intrigued.

"Well, this information... I didn't believe it at first... But if everything is factual, which I made sure to check. This kids talent will be on par with that of ais's." The man said while handing a document over to Hermes which he got from under the counter.

"The kid is a natural born hunter. He managed to kill 33 evilus members who were rampaging over Daedalus street, alone. And to top it off, he isn't part of a familia and is only 8 years of age." The bartender explained.

Asfi's eyes were open, full of shock. And hermes's were glittering with excitement.

'This is the one.' He thought.

"Where can I find him." He said while sliding some coins over the counter.

Charles took the money and said.

"I'll write you the address." While writing on a piece of paper.

After he was finished, he gave the paper slip to Hermes.

"Thank you, friend. Till next time." He waved goodbye and Asfi just gave a simple nod.

| Levi POV |

'So, they finally stopped. Tch, I still need to clean my clothes... Or maybe I should get new ones. They are too bloody to wash.' Levi thought while looking at the bloodied shirt.

'Yeah, I'll throw this one away. I also need to move from this shitplace. But for that I need an income.' He thought while moving towards his bed.

'I can fight, so maybe being an adventurer will be the logical option.' While contemplating his options, he heard some voices from outside he's never heard.

Looking thru his window, he saw two people right before his door.

"Is this the place?" asked the woman with aqua-coloured hair.

"Yeah, this should be it." The one with the hat said.

'Seems like the one with the hat is a god... Seems like rumours already spread about me. Well I don't mind, it has nothing but advantages... But I still need to be wary.' And with his final thought he grabbed his two knives and went downstairs.

"Alright, let's meet him shall we." The hat-god said before knocking.

After a few seconds the door opened, but no one welcomed them.

The duo looked at each other before going inside.

When they went inside, the door behind them shut closed. And Levi kicked the knee of the woman.

The woman fell on her knee, and was shocked from the sudden attack as she was not expecting one.

Then he put a knife to her throat, threatening to slit it when she makes any sudden movement.

Then the god looked at them.

"Oya, what a warm welcome. You must be Levi."

"Yeah, but who are you? And what do you want from me?" Levi asked.

"My name is Hermes, and I want you to join Hermes."

At his declaration, the boy's eyes widened albeit slightly.

'Who knew that it was Hermes who wants me in his family.' Levi thought.

"But why me, you have plenty of strong familia members... Or so I heard. Why do you ask an orphan to join your familia." Levi asked.

"Well you see, young Levi. My familia isn't really combat orientated, and with the latest incident, many of my children died. So I need another fighter based adventurer to guard them." Hermes explained

Then Levi pondered.

'The Hermes familia is a good one, but they do odd jobs which involve many travels and going to the dungeon... I like the sound of that. As long as I'm away from this dump.'

"All right, I'll join." Levi said before retracting his knife.

"I'll be your soldier."

"Great, you okay Asfi?" Hermes asked

"Yeah, I'm fine." She answered while staring at Levi.

'What was that strength? He's only eight but has the strength of a top level 1. Really, lord Hermes does have a good eye for people.' She thought.

"Alright, so you got any belongings?"

"No, we can go right away"

"As you wish, let's go."

And then the newly formed trio left Daedalus street.

"Alright, here we are." Hermes said before opening the door.

"Hey, everyone!! Attention!! Introduce yourself to the new member!!"

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at where Hermes was. They were looking confused. But then they saw a child right next to him.

"First let me introduce you, This is Levi Ackerman. He's 8 years old and will be joining the combat department. So he will be under falgar's command. Now your turn."

Then they all came and introduced themselfs.

"Asfi Al Andromeda, captain of this familia, nice to meet you."

"Falgar Batros, nice to meet you."

"Lulune louie, nice knowing ya."

As everyone of the familia greeted Levi, he greeted them back. Out of common courtesy of course.

"Alright, Levi. Let's get your falna in order." Hermes said before going to his study, followed by Levi.

"Now take of your shirt and lie on your stomach."

And. although skeptical. He complied.

After a drip of blood fell on Levi's back, and making some hand signals.

Then a symbol of the Hermes familia appeared.

Then his status appeared, and Hermes looked confused.

"Tell me, Levi. Have you ever joined a familia before?"

"No, I haven't. Why?"

"W-well-"

'He isn't lying. So that means it got something to do with this skill'

'I STRUCK GOLD!! HAHAHA!! I'M THE BEST!!' He thought, inflating his ego even further.

Then he took a parchment and copied his status.

"Do you mind showing this to the others?" Hermes asked.

"Tch, do what you want." Levi replied while putting his shirt back on.

"YAY, GUYS!! LOOK AT THE TODDLERS STATUS!! IT'S AMAZING!!" Hermes screamed happily.

"I'M A WHAT!!" Levi screamed back in anger at the insult.

"Wow, he already has a skill. And it's a bloodline skill. It's gotta be powerful then." Asfi analysed.

"That's a good skill. But lord Hermes, when are we going to the dungeon with the kid?" Falgar asked.

"Hmm, you guys will go first thing tomorrow. And the sun is still out so let's buy him some weapons and armor today. We can also register him at the guild after that."

"Alright kid, heard that?"

"Tch, loud and clear."

"Then let's go."

"I'm coming too! What about you Asfi?" Hermes asked

"I still have work to do. You guys can go." Asfi replied

"Alright, you two. Let's goo!"

And with a final wave of goodbye, the trio left the building.

I am fucking tired and still got a FUCKING TEST tomorrow.

idk bout u guys but I feel like I rushed this chap a little or it's just me being tired. idk anymore.

For the armor option, I think i'll go with what he has on in the picture of the novel. wdyg think?

As I told u, he'll dual wield some swords and I'm still contemplating for the substitute of the ODM-gear but I think it will be something like Ais's Ariel.
