Aciras' Dungeon

Glass held the black katana in his hand by the hilt, in front of him are dozens of hay dummies for him to practice on.

Ching!

With a single movement of his hand, the katana left its sheath and returned in an instant as every single one of the dozens of dummies were split into exactly five pieces in equal size.

"Hoh, it cuts very nicely" Glass thought.

Suddenly, a white light engulfed the dummies and made them float in the air and returning back to their original form as if they had not been cut in the first place.

This time, Glass took out the katana and held it with both hands above his head. He tried to imagine a sort of energy traveling through to the katana from within his body.

The red part of the katana slowly glew brighter in color. Glass opened his eyes and swung down in one motion and returned the katana into the sheath as the dummies were all cut into five equal pieces.

This time, the dummies were charred in the area that they were cut through. The burnt area was extremely thin as though Glass had controlled it to make the heat cut through as thinly as he could.

Turning around, Glass said to the owner, "I'll take it"

The owner nodded, "Good, it seems it has found a suitable owner"

After leaving the weapon shop, Glass and the twins headed for the Dungeon. Since it was the middle of the day, many people were walking around.

Glass noticed a few faces that he had seen earlier in the day and had memorized their faces. After a while, the three of them walked out of town and arrived at the Dungeon not so far away.

"How far did you manage to get to back in Orario?" Yheia asked him.

"Not that far, we were planning to head to the Twelfth Floor but the ground suddenly collapsed on the Eighth Floor" Glass replied.

"I see, Glass - San, when did you start Adventuring?" Yheia asked another question.

"Uh not that long, we had only been in the Dungeon for four or five days" Glass replied like it was a normal thing.

Hearing his reply, the twins stopped walking and stared at him with a shocked expression. Glass looked back at them with a puzzled expression and asked, "Is something wrong? I'm sorry for not having much experience"

"No, no that's not why we are looking at you. You just said that you are able to make it to the Twelfth Floor after just four days?" Yheia asked.

Glass nodded at her question. "How many people were in your party?" Omaos added in.

"Well, it was just my friend Bell and I, after all we are the only ones in our Familia" Glass replied.

"..."

"..."

The twins both looked at each other then back at Glass as if they had seen a ghost. "What about you two?" Glass asked them back.

"Erm, well, see we have been going to the Dungeon for a few years now and have gotten to the Twenty Seventh Floor" Yheia replied to his question.

"The Twenty Seventh Floor? If I remember correctly, in Orario, the standard Adventurer is Level 3 around there. Both of them are plenty strong if just the two of them have made it that far" Glass thought.

"Is something wrong?" Omaos said.

"Ah? No, I was just thinking that you guys are strong before we go in, we should get to know each other's strengths" Glass suggested.

Omaos nodded while Yheia said, "That's a good idea, I am a mage who specializes in support. My magic includes healing, buffing and minor spells such as fireball. I am able to use a weak attack from all of the elements as well"

"As you can see, I use a spear, though it is more like a halberd than a spear. My two skills let me temporarily boost my own Agility and Dexterity while my other skill enables me to boost my Defence while having a minor taunting effect" Omaos replied.

Glass heard both of them and thought about somethings as he nodded. "I see, I don't know what my skills are or if I have any, it's nothing special but I can pretty much use any weapon" he told them.

The twins nodded as they looked at the various weapons that Glass had on him. Glass had brought all of his gear with him including the sword, the katana and the polearm. The katana was by his waist while the other two were placed neatly on his back.

After hearing about each other's strengths, the party headed into the Dungeon. Taking a step inside, Glass noticed that the stairway to another floor leads upward rather than downward like in Orario.

The stairway also looked much different to the one in Orario. Back in Orario, each stairway looked like a cave with steps that lead to each floor.

The stairway in front of him was made of stone and the entire room resembled an ancient castle with lamps that were similar to the streetlights back in town.

Glass looked around and was amazed by the sight as they headed towards the First Floor. When they got out, Glass stayed back and let the twins lead the way since he was not familiar with the Dungeon.
