Heracles is here! ...for about a fraction of a moment at the end of the chapter.

I walk to the store, and there is an orphanage on the way. while I was passing it, I heard Two kids yelling at each other.

one goes "At least I have my parents!"

and I'm like. "oh, damn."

AND THEN! the second kid yells "At least I have a girlfriend!"

and I'm like " OHHHH! DAAAAAAAAMN BOI!!"

that dude is dead. he needs some milk!

oh, and btw. no second chapter today, had to do some stuff and go to the doctor, it was exhausting! I miss the time when mom would do all the talking...

'How did it come to this?' the white-haired Boy thought as he eat his spaghetti and looked at the smiling Syr Flova who sat across him.

"I appreciate the company of a beauty, but if we are going to spend our time with me eating my food, and you just watching me, then it's gonna be awkward yknow?" Bell said and took another bite of spaghetti that he twirled on his spoon.

"Isn't it the duty of a man to make the first move?" the silver hair maid questioned with a tilt of her head and a mischievous glint in her eye.

"Man? lady, I think you need glasses." the rather rude comment made Syr blink in surprise "I'm a Boy, not a man. My little brother down there started working as it's intended only recently, I'm still a virgin so I don't have a son, I haven't built a house, and I didn't plant a tree. So, no. I'm not a man...YET."

The silence that followed this statement didn't last long. The first person to give in was Syr as she started to chuckle which soon transformed into laughter.

Bell smiled and let out a couple of chuckles himself.

"I-I've would have never thought..." her sentence got interrupted by yet another burst of giggles. "you are an interesting adventurer," She said as she wiped a tear from her eye. "But what was all that about a son, house, and tree?"

"back in my hometown, there was a saying that in his life a man must plant a tree, build a house, and make a son."

"Hmm, interesting." she was not interested at all. "Well, I'm sure that as an adventurer you will have a chance to lure a nice lady soon enough." Syr giggled.

'What is this conversation?' The boy wondered as he chew the noodles in his mouth, and washed it with a swig of water. "Say, you keep calling me an adventurer, but how do you know I am one?" Syr just looked at him like he was an idiot. His question was answered when she pointed at his magic staff that was currently leaning on the side of the table.

"That doesn't prove anything. Just because I'm a mage doesn't mean I am an adventurer." Bell said with a somewhat smug face. That face fell with the next words coming out of Syr mouth.

"It has the Loki Insignia on it."

...

Bell looked at his staff, his eyes trying to locate the insignia that Syr was speaking about. And... yes, there was, in fact, a Loki insignia on it! Small and barely noticeable, but it was there... just below the magic crystal.

'How the hell did I never notice that.'

"I retract my previous statement, you don't need glasses." He said, impressed by Syr amazing observation powers...maybe she has a Sharingan? "Hell, I didn't even notice it myself." The smug look on the waitress's face annoyed him. Shit, he was losing! "But that still doesn't mean I am an adventurer! how do you know that I go to the dungeon? For all you could know, I'm still a kid studying magic in Loki familia library!"

The "fufufu" that let out made him a little uncomfortable... and that look in her eye... it was the look of someone who is already assured of their win.

"you underestimate the power of rumors Sir adventurer. We had customers who said some interesting things."

"like what?"

"about how a white-haired kid with armor and a staff entered a dungeon some time ago and excited only after the sun hid away beyond the horizon." she raised one finger. "that not long ago, the famous Nine Hell's Riveria accompanied a certain young white-haired boy to the guild." she raised a second finger. Before she could raise the third, Bell spoke.

"But those are just rumors, in the end, nothing you can be sure of." He said, determined to win this little game he found himself in.

She smirked...the time has come to use her strongest card! The last piece of the forbidden one! Exod- WAIT, HOLD UP!

sorry, got a little carried away there...

Syr used her trump card!

"Lady Loki visited and started to brag about her cute Bun-Bun, and how talented he is." It was Done. "How he can already handle himself in the dungeon and whatnot." and with that said, it was checkmate. Syr won.

"God damn it Loki" Bell cursed and facepalmed.

"She was drunk." The waitress said with a shrug as she tried to defend the goddess.

"Alright, you win. I am an adventurer." The boy sighed and offered his hand to Syr. "Bell Cranell, nice to meet ya'!"

"Syr Flova, it's nice to meet you too." She said and shook the boy hand. "Well, then Bell. I don't know much about magic-"

'Liar' Bell said in his head.

"-But I do know that it's supposed to take some time to study and get good at it. And you seemed rather young." Syr Leaned forward "what's your secret?"

Bell looked around, spying the area for any potential eavesdropper. He leaned forward against the table and signaled Syr to come closer. A bold move from our little rabbit, but Syr understood the need to keep quiet.

She could feel his breath on her skin once he was close enough to whisper into her ear. Her curiosity reached an all-time high! Does he actually have a secret that allows him to be so skillful with magic despite his young age? She was about to find out, and it made her heart fasten.

"push-ups, sit-ups, and a lot of juice."

As Bell got back into his previous position, continuing eating the food in front of him, Syr stayed in that leaning position, her eyes seemed empty as she tried to process the "secret" that Bell told her. When she finally rebooted, Syr looked at Bell with a Pout and teary eyes before turning her head away.

"If you are doing that thing where girls pout and act like they are mad at a boy, I want you to know that I do not care about you enough for that to work on me." Bell informed casually. "Right now, you are only one of the many faces I saw in my life, that will soon fade to the dark abyss of my ignorance...plus, you're not even THAT pretty, I saw better." like one of the hundred elves that roam the streets of Orario.

Elves are just meant to be pretty, am I right? There was even one that looked like handsome Squidward!

Bell watched as the waitress spluttered in indignation at his honesty and rudeness.

"That's not how you talk to a lady!!"

Bell smiled. "Don't flatter yourself, you're not a lady yet, just a girl." Syr jaw dropped, she was left speechless.

"SYR! BREAK IS OVER, GET YOUR ASS BACK TO WORK!" Came the thunderous voice of Mia Grand, which made Syr stand up and fix her uniform before she shot Bell a glare and tried to stomp away.

Tried being the keyword here.

"Syr!" Bell called out, purposely making his voice sound shameful and apologetic. Syr stopped, turned around, and stared him in the eye.

it was at that moment that Bell stopped his act and casually said. "Can I get another portion?"
