Chapter 37: Rescue Mission plans
Brad's POV:
I had quite smoking when Rachel was born, but since this incident with Rayla being kidnapped and me being put into prison being accused of her kidnap, I felt like I needed a cigarette after all this. Rayla's colleague is there working with his investigator and I am out here on the balcony overlooking the city. We are just about half an hour away from town but we could see the city sky lines. Vince's office was all messy with paperwork everywhere with photos and security footage everywhere. Rayla would hate it if she saw paperwork everywhere as she was an organised woman when it came to paper work and she wanted things organised.
I watched smoking my cigarette how both Evan and Vince were working so hard to put to pieces together how to find Rayla. I felt so helpless and hopeless that I couldn't help them or even find my own wife. I put out the cigarette after smoking my last one.
I opened the glass sliding door, being 10pm at night.
