Romeo and The Band
Romeo got to the school garden and met Alex seated on the long chair that was located at the center of the garden.
"Geez... Like seriously. Guy what's wrong with you, it's not like you did it on purpose" He said as he sat beside Alex.
"But yunno, you shouldn't have even thought of running away. I mean, which guy runs away after kissing a girl"
"By mistake" Alex added with a glare and roughed his hair.
"How will I even start acting towards from now, what will she think of me? That I'm a jerk senior who takes advantage of girls?" Alex muttered.
Romeo bursts into laughter immediately.
"Like seriously dude, you're being so hard on yourself. The mistake you made is running away. Now she will feel somehow, like you're not interested in her or something" Romeo grinned.
"And when did I tell you I was interested in her?" Alex asked.
"Here we go again, you're interested in that girl, that's why you're being this hard on yourself. Trust me, if it's another girl, you wouldn't be"
"Fuck you Rome. You're supposed to be reasoning with me on how to apologize to Bella but you're not even helping matters"
"Oh now you're gonna beg her, that's interesting. You're gonna be like, oh Bella I'm sorry for the kiss, it was a mistake and she's gonna be like, seriously senior Alex, you're begging coz of a kiss? I enjoyed it" Romeo said dramatically.
"Rome!!!"

Bella rushed into the junior class and went to her seat, sat and placed her head on the table.
"How did his lips taste?" She heard a voice beside her and turned to find Sarah sitting by her right side.
"Like seriously? His that what you're supposed to be saying right now?" Bella asked with an angry tone and face.
Sarah raised her arms up in defeat.
"I'm sorry, just anxious to know how senior Alex's lips taste. Seriously, you're so lucky to have a chance to kiss him" Sarah gushed.
"Then go kiss him" Bella grumbled.
"Or I should just kiss you to know how he tastes?"
"Eeew!" Bella squinted her face and stood up, walking away.
"Come back here girl, I was only joking!" Sarah called out.
A group of girls surrounded Bella immediately.
"Heard you kissed senior Alex"
"What did his lips taste like? "
"Vanilla?"
"Talk to us"
Sarah came and pushed them all away from Bella.
"Mind your businesses girls!!" She yelled.
Bella continued walking away and Sarah made to walk after her when the teacher came in.
"Miss Bella and Miss Sarah, where to?" Mrs Anna, the English teacher asked with arms crossed.
"Nowhere ma'am, we were about to come call since you didn't came on time" Sarah lied.
" And since when did you both become the class prefects" Mrs Anna asked with a stern face.
"Ma'am... "
"Get back to your seats!" She yelled and they both dragged their feet to their seats.
The day soon came to an end as the electric bell rung loudly indicating the closure for the day..
Students trooped out of their classes like bunch of prisoners that were just released from their cells.
The school soon became crowdy and noisy as students walked here and there, talking amongst each other and calling out to each other.
Alex and Romeo could be seen walking side by side with their bags hung across their shoulders.
They got to the park and met two guys waiting.
"You're here" One of them said.
"Yo, Lance, Rex" Romeo replied and hit knuckles with both of them along with Alex.
"So what are we here for?" Rex asked.
"Just wanna propose a contract to you two" Romeo started.
The two guys looked at each other and laughed.
"Seriously Romeo,and what contract do you have to propose?" Lance asked.
"I met with Mr Fred who talked to principal Jones on my behalf and we've been allowed to set up a band. So I heard you guys are good in guitar and drum" Romeo explained.
"Wait, are you serious about this?" Rex asked.
"Why is everyone taking my words for a joke these days? I think I need to quit my crazy ways of life" Romeo shook his head.
"If you're serious about this, then that's cool, we're surely in" Rex smiled.
" Great, well principal Jones was so happy when Mr Fred presented the matter to him, heard the school has been thinking of creating a band among the students before. So the school has offered us a practice room where we can take our practices and we've been qualified to perform at the Valentine party coming next week" Romeo announced and the boys almost screamed.
"You didn't tell me that" Alex frowned.
"Well, surprise" Romeo grinned..
"We're gonna become damn popular after next week" Lance smiled sheepishly.
"Now I have to have a good haircut and give some touches to my face. I'm really gonna make that Evelyn girl regret for turning me down" Rex smirked.
"Seriously dude, you're something else" Alex shook his head.
"Lance, we're sure visiting the salon before next week" Rex said with a smile.
"Of course" Lance replied.
"Let's go check the practice room out" Alex spoke up and they all walked away from the park.
**Practice Room**
"Wow! Why the heck haven't I been to this place before" Lance exclaimed.
"We were even provided with drums, keyboards, guitar, damn, check the speakers out" Rex and ranted.
Alex walked over to the keyboard and sat on the chair situated. He started playing the keyboard and the sweet Melody boomed round the room.
The others also took their positions and began playing their instruments.
"Guys, let's have a short practice" Romeo suggested and took of the microphones.
He began and the others played their instruments along.

He started and started with a rap, increasing the tempo of the song and the others also played their instruments faster

He resumed the slow music again.

Romeo sung the outro and claps erupted out from the entrance.
The principal and the school owner.
"Afternoon sirs" The boys greeted.
"You guys were really good. Mr Jones, you didn't tell me we have such talents in this school" The proprietor said.
"Thanks sir" The boy replied.
"I'm just finding out also" Principal Jones smiled.
"Keep it up guys" The proprietor encouraged and walked out with Mr Jones.
The boys heaved out immediately.
"I almost died. Can't believe I've been holding my breath since they entered" Romeo said.
"Same here,this was definitely not what I was expecting. I'm glad he likes our performance" Alex said.
"Guys,we've not chosen the days yet" Rex spoke up.
"What days?" Romeo asked.
"Our practices. How we're going to arrange them" Rex asked.
"That's true" The guys agreed.
"Well, how about Monday and Friday? Just two days is okay" Lance suggested.
"Yeah" Romeo replied.
"So that's all for today guys" Alex said as they arranged the room before exiting.
They got out and some students are still walking around the school, yet to leave.
"Wow, you guys look like a musical band as you're walking together" They heard Bella's voice as she appeared with her gang.
"We're one already" Rome smirked.
"Fool" Bella cursed and laughed with her gang.
"You shall be shocked" Lance grinned as the girls walked away
"Of course they will".
