Judgement at Hand

The next day, after setting it up that Vamola would live at Momo's place in Kamoe City I came clean with Mikan, Saki, and all the others as to what happened.

Right now I was on my knees with my head bowed as Vamola stood behind me while Mikan, Saki and Esdeath were the ones here as everyone else didn't have an opinion on it as it was normal in there worlds for guys to have multiple women, stocking doesn't care so long as she gets sometime with me here and there while getting sweets, Scanty and Kneesocks followed the hierarchy and since I'm strong they don't find a reason to object at all to me getting more women, Briar didn't care as it meant she would get more friends and Rebecca, Sasha, and Kiwi only see it as inevitable that the numbers will increase over time so they didn't say anything either.

Thus the three that had any opinion on it were Saki, Mikan and Esdeath who had finally come back from the battlefield as Najenda took over the lead in her stead.

"So…. You got yourself another girlfriend huh?…." She said which made me sweat as I could feel the anger and irritation coming off both her and Saki, along with the minute amount of bloodlust coming from Esdeath in particular.

"Wait please! Hifumi didn't do anything wrong! If you want to be mad at someone be mad at me instead!" Vamola said standing up for me, though she was contemplating jumping into her Kaiju suit if things looked like they were about to go south.

"Hooo, so your saying that you were the one who decided to start this relationship instead of him huh?" Esdeath said as I saw her go to grab the hilt of her rapier.

"Esdeath, if you pull that out, don't think I won't fight you…." I said as Yamato appeared in my hands as I was pressing my thumb against Tsuba(guard) while I stared her down.

Out of all of them she was the most dangerous and volatile of all of my girlfriends/lovers, so even though I was threatening her, her bloodlust grew as she seemed excited to fight me once more.

"Nee, Chan-Mas, why don't we hear Mola-Chi's side of the story, if she is an alien then there must be a reason for all this right?" Nagiko, Saki's Servant whose real name is Sei Shonagon, asked her master as her and Mikan were the 'heads' of the harem and the most levelheaded out of all of them by far, even if she has a few minor Yandere tendency's from time to time.

"It's best to understand all the information you can about the patient in front of you master, it's the only way to determine what illnesses they have, or in this case to understand her true intentions." Florence chimed in for Mikan while giving a medical analogy as an example.

Hearing all that both Saki and Mikan looked at each other before coming to a silent agreement, "We shall hold off our judgement until we hear the whole story from Vamola herself and why she decided to want to be with you." Mikan said giving the final decision on all of this.

"Tch" Esdeath clicked her tongue before letting go of her hilt while I put Yamato to the side as I looked to Vamola and nodded.

And so Vamola once again retold of the story of her world, how she got here, how she met and fought me before deciding I would be her husband.

"UUUUWWWWAAAAA!!!! Mola-chi! That's so sad!!!" Nagiko couldn't hold back her tears as she held onto Vamola while crying about it.

Mikan and Saki were quietly crying while Florence was being her stoic self as usual but her eyes looked like she was living in the past and giving a thousand yard stare, remembering her life when she was on the war torn battlefields when she was alive and how war ruined so many people, especially the lives of children, but Vamolas story was much, much worse than the battlefields she was on and the level of barbarism those aliens showed by literally having the Sumerians eaten and broken down into biomass and be made into exosuits like her kaiju suit disgusted her to her core.

"…. Pathetic, it's like looking at a mirror of my younger self, weak and feeble, forced to run away from a greater threat when I didn't have the strength to even stand up and fight back…" Esdeath said with clear irritation as she saw her younger self in Vamola as she too lost her entire clan though Vamola's situation is much worse with the loss of her entire race being turned into biomass and remade into mech armors for those aliens.

"Esdeath…." I wasn't mad at her as I could tell where she was coming from with the loss of her clan but Vamola doesn't know about that so she looked offended at what she just said.

"I'm not going to take back what I said, but to make it clear to you girl, my past isn't that dissimilar to yours, while my entire race wasn't annihilated, my entire clan, everyone that I loved and cared about, including my father who I looked up to was butchered before my eyes with me needing to flee for my life to survive, but his teachings were deeply rooted in me, the weak die and the strong live, and from what I heard you only got away through the sacrifice of the ones you love to get here today, to put it bluntly, your weak and when they come here, or perhaps they have already are here, they will come for you and then you will die as a result because you don't have the strength to protect yourself or those around you." Esdeath said laying it on hard which made her grit her teeth in anger but the tears didn't stop flowing from her eyes.

"But you want to know what Hifumi taught me a long time ago? The strong live and the weak will die, but the strong have the power themselves to make the weak strong enough to survive on their own, and little girl I see what I could have been if I didn't strive to have the strength to kill those who killed everyone I loved and cared about in you, so you want the strength and the power to fight them back then I will take you on and train you, after all you need something to fight them against if you lose the power of your suit." Esdeath said which surprised the rest of us when she said she would train her.

"Huh?! Am I hearing this right?! Miss Survival of the Fittest wants to take on a protege for herself?!" Nagiko couldn't help but say in shock and surprise while voicing the majority of our thoughts as well.

"Yes, I do wish to take her on, not only because she and I have similar backstories, but also so she wouldn't be a burden to Hifumi should anything happen, unlike those two over there." Esdeath said pointing towards both Mikan and Saki who could only grit their teeth in anger and frustration as out of everyone of his girlfriends, they are the most 'normal' of the bunch with no crazy powers of their own with them being protected personally by Nagiko and Florence.

"…. Alright I'll do it! If it's a way to get stronger even without my suit then I will put in the effort to get it done!" Vamola said with conviction in her voice as Esdeath nodded in approval.

"Good, then someday soon I think I will find you completely worthy to stand at Hifumi's side, now come, your training starts now." Esdeath said before leading the way as Vamola seemed fired up and followed right after her with her suit fully equipped.

After they left I saw both Mikan and Saki leaning over depressed about what happened, "…. Soooo…. What's the verdict?"

"…. Fine, I say that she can be with you but Esdeath made a very large point, as we are Hifumi we are just a liability to you if anyone of any strength was able to get their hands on us, so I want to get stronger so I can both protect myself and one day be able to protect you as well!" Mikan said to which Saki agreed as they both now had a burning desire to get stronger.

So now I got a new member added to my ever growing harem, but now the real question is.

'What even am I to teach these two to make them stronger?' I couldn't help think as I felt like I saw many branching paths to increasing their strength but didn't know what to choose.

'…. Hey Author, can I ask for some directions? Like could you give me multiple choice on this or something?' I couldn't help but ask as I wondered if he was watching this all happen in real time himself in this story.

After thinking that a screen popped up and gave me several paths I could take to increase their own personal power.

That's all it said while I scratched my head as I looked at all these various options while seeing hundreds of different paths they can end up treading with the help of Infinity(Abstract) giving me a possible glimpse into multiple diverging timelines that aren't set in stone, like Zelretch's Kaleidoscope but unlike his I can't go to those times lines and can only see faint glimpse of them all.

Shaking my head I looked at the girls before showing them the screen, "My System was able to determine several power systems that you you two can use and the powers that they can give you, if you want strength to stand by my side no matter what comes our way in the future then make a decision on what you want for yourselves." I said as they looked it over before they began to think about their future powers.

And then after a hour of looking it all over they made their decisions….
