"Aha! I did not tell you how he saved me from that Mr. Onyeka that I was telling you about. The boss that was asking me out."

"Oh, he also came too?"

"Of course he did, that was the reason I took him me. My defender came to my defense when he noticed the man pestering me, he was dancing with Cynthia by then. So, he came and said with that sweet deep but mild voice of his which was just like his father's. 'Is there any problem?' My Onyeka was shocked to see him, he could not believe that this hot chick got a son this big and confident. The next thing Damian did was to check his time and told me that it is already late and that we have to be going."

Mom said and they both laughed.

"Really? Just like your husband. You are very lucky you have a boy this cute brave and defending son. Really this your boy is very different from any other kids in this country, his looks and behavior is so different and unique, that is why I kept wondering why you will tell me that his Dad is regular, you just don't want to tell me about this secret."

Aunty Paula said.

"I'll really like such a son for a son-in-law."

"Hmm... Really? But you already have him. I also will love a caring daughter-in-law as your girl. A girl who at her age has understood that the road to a man's heart is his stomach."

Mom added.

"You know I have been thinking, why not we try and work it for them so that they can school in the same university."

Aunty Paula suggested. 

"Hmm... That will be nice, I love the way you think."

Mom commended her.

All this while, I and Cynthia were just enjoying their conversation, we kept giggling when they make suggestions about us. I won't lie, I really enjoyed this interaction of theirs because it was mainly about Cynthia and me. My mom will never seize to take any possible opportunity she finds to praise me. I really love this about her that is why I also will never stop praising her.

"Aha, hope you are prepared for tomorrow, the swimming, I thought yesterday was Sunday that was why I told you that today was the swimming day, hahaha."

Cynthia said and started laughing.

"Yeah, I also thought of it"

Well that was what happened on Sunday, and this was why I woke up feeling happy and good, I might not have been able to kiss Cynthia before mom during our dinner outing, but I still did kiss her yesterday which was Sunday.

So, this Monday which was the day for the swimming contest, I woke up early, I even woke up earlier than usual, I was the one who woke mom up to prepare for her Monday work.

Mom was very stunned when that I was up by this time, she tried to inquire the reason for my premature awakening, but I quickly swept it under the carpet.
