Chapter 57: The Chin-chin Snack

She also is the best mom any child will ever think of. I've seen many moms who only depended on their husbands for the care of their children just like the madwoman we had as a neighbor back then in the east. I also know of some mothers who chose to blame the fact that they were widowed to underwrite the evidence that they had failed their on their duty of catering for their children, thank God my mom was my mom. A unique woman in her beautiful ways.

                    ***The Chin-chin Snack***

After a few hours, I was in my house seeing a movie from my favorite Tv station, "Sony Max", that was after I had finished with my house chores, I was there in my comfortable cushion chair seeing my movie and reminiscing at the same time when I heard my doorbell ring. You know, if mom was at we will be watching the "African Magic" TV station. Mom loves "African Magic" and "Zee World", while I preferred "Sony Max" and other music channels

"Who is there?"

"Common will you come and open the door for me?"

Wow! That was her voice, yeah, by "her" I meant Cynthia. Immediately, I ran to the door and opened It. Behold, she was with a little tray with her, though it was neatly covered, I could still perceive that it was a fried dough.

"Can I come inside?"

She said as she found me lust and confused at the sight of her. I just stood in the middle of the door when I opened the door to see her face, I wasn't expecting her. God, she looks so gorgeous, and with that tray in her hand she just looked like a Nigerian Igbo girl on her traditional marriage day.

"Oh, please, common in, forgive my manners please."

So I said after she had called my attention.

"What are you watching? Hope you eat chin-chin."

So she asked as she walked indirectly to the chair.

Is that chin-chin? I thought of it, of curse I do, I like the crunchy aspect."

So I responded.

She sat on the chair and placed the chin-chin on the table, and then she unveiled it. Well, chin-chin is a popular Nigerian snack made of wheat flour, either baked or fried in oil or butter.

Without hesitation I sat very close to her and have a handful of the chin-chin, it was still hot, and God it was flavorful.

"You made this?"

I asked as I felt the fine flavors run around my taste gland, I felt the milk and egg abundant.

"Yeah! You like it?"

She asked with a blush.

"Yeah I do, you must be very good in the kitchen."

So I said. Well, when it comes to the kitchen, I'm not rooky, but im just not into snack making, even though I live snacks and cakes, oh God! I love cakes.

As we discuss and see the movie at the same time we complemented the beautiful atmosphere with the luscious chin-chin.
