Chapter 101: Dreaming of Siren

                    ***Dreaming of Siren***

Weeks after the swimming context and even through the exam period, I have been experiencing a series of unexplainable dreams and Addiction to the water, not excluding the reactions that I have been having lately. A scary reaction that could be a skin disease or even worse, a skin cancer.

Lately, I've been dreaming of Mermaids, or should I say sirens, and I often saw myself around a very big body of water like a beach. It has been scary nights for me for quite a while now, and it's even more strange when I tell mom about it, all she did or said was 

"You are not a fish, you are a human, you have no connection with them."

I do not understand why mom will always react in such a manner whenever I tell her my dreams relating to the sea. I couldn't even show her the reaction on my body when it got worse because of my fear of how she will respond to it. I kept it to myself until I could hold it no more. 

Even when I tried to get an explanation to that which she often said about me not being a fish, instead of giving me an explanation, my mom will rather start crying and lock herself in the room. What a scary night and strange days it was to me, so, I stopped disturbing my mom about the dreams, I will rather face my scary nights than see my mom cry and be broken that way. I remembered how she felt when she noticed the reaction no my body, when the rashes turned into fish scale, she made me think that I was going to die as if nothing could save me, she took me to many places, ranging from pastors to native doctors, withing this period we encountered lots of fake pastors and prophets before we met the one who actually handed me over to my father all in the name of helping mom. What a crazy period it was, but ill try my best to break everything down gradually to you my friends so that you won't miss out on any information.

So, I also told Cynthia about it and she started laughing at me, she even took it to the Super Cee who mockingly said that;

"Our Merman already have Mermaid side chicks."

They turned it into a joking matter as Cynthia threatened to make a fish pepper soup out of any mermaid that comes anywhere near me.

Well, I know it will only be fair if I allow you to get a glimpse of one of the numerous dreams that I've been experiencing lately:

At night as I fell asleep I saw myself at the beach again, this time it was sunset and it seemed to me that I was the only one present at the beach, because I couldn't recognize the presence of any other folk. I sat on the sandy shore of the beach and gazed at the horizon. Now it felt like the sea started where the sky drifted, unfolding the hills of thick moist, then I saw the water running wild, dancing like an over-excited child, then, I felt this vibration, Which for me was like the pulse, the current, the flowing of stream, wild dreams of freedom, and the caress of love on my skin The feeling I had was like a secret, encoded so that no one could comprehend, but yet, I felt these secrets could only be decoded with love, as I realized that the feelings could only be explained by love.

The wave was close enough to me that as they broke drops of spray ran down my face, so I said to the sea as fear was no where close to me at the moment

"go ahead. Show me now the things you wish to show me"

So I said, and low and behold, as soon as I said this I saw this creature, a creature formed out of love, water, and beauty herself, this creature I really could find no word to describe her, beauty will be an understatement. She was the same as the waters. Her eyes were as blue as the sea, as she crawled out of the sea she gave me a sharp stare and gave out a sharp whisper. At that moment I felt hypnotized and paralyzed. Looking at her perfection, I never knew that anything could ever appear that perfectly beautiful. I realize I just saw a mermaid when she whipped her tail of fish against the water.

So, this one is among the numerous dreams I had about the exotic sea and the creatures that dwelled within.
