Project "Anxiety" causes Jealousy

Daisy couldn't focus on the teacher's lesson; her mind was consumed by Edward's words and her own insecurities. As she heard him say, "I was bothered by seeing Marcel because I knew he would act again," she couldn't help but feel hurt. She interpreted it as Edward not being concerned about her but rather annoyed by Marcel's actions.

Tears welled up in her eyes, but she tried her best to hold them back. She entered the classroom with her head hung low, hoping to avoid drawing attention to herself. Edward followed and sat down next to her as usual, but she felt a sense of unease, convinced that people were staring at her. This only added to her anxiety, and she silently prayed that she wouldn't break down and make a scene in front of everyone, especially Edward.

Her legs trembled beneath the table, a physical manifestation of her emotional turmoil. Edward, on the other hand, was struggling to maintain his composure as well. He regretted his words and actions, realizing that he might have hurt Daisy unintentionally. He wanted to intervene and apologize, but he felt paralyzed by his own uncertainty about his feelings for her.

As the teacher began the lesson, Daisy tried her best to focus on the whiteboard, but her internal dialogue continued to consume her.

"He considered me a drama queen," she thought, feeling hurt by the implication that her emotions were excessive or unwarranted.

"He thinks I'm strange," she continued, replaying Edward's response to her question about why he was near the restroom.

"He hurt me too," she acknowledged, recognizing that his actions, though unintentional, had caused her pain.

And then came the most painful realization of all, "He shared the same traits as everyone else," she thought, feeling a sense of disappointment that even the person she admired and had hope for might not see her as anything more than an ordinary girl.

Daisy couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by her emotions, and she discreetly wiped away a tear that escaped her eye. She was torn between wanting to distance herself from Edward to protect her feelings and yearning for his understanding and acceptance.

The rest of the class passed in a blur, and when the bell rang, signaling the end of the lesson, Daisy felt a mix of relief and sadness. She wanted to escape the situation, but she also didn't want to give up on the possibility of a deeper connection with Edward.

As she gathered her belongings to leave the classroom, she stole a glance at Edward. His expression was unreadable, but she noticed a hint of concern in his eyes. A small glimmer of hope flickered within her, wondering if maybe there was more to his actions and words than she had initially perceived.

Daisy took a deep breath, trying to gather her courage, and decided to confront Edward about her feelings later when they had more privacy. She was determined to understand his true intentions and find out if there was a chance for something more between them. No matter what the outcome, she knew that she had to face her fears and have an honest conversation with him, because she couldn't continue to hide her emotions and pretend that everything was okay.

Throughout the project discussion, Daisy couldn't shake off her conflicting feelings about Edward. She felt frustrated by his changing demeanor, from the poker-faced boy to the caring friend, and then to the smug git who had called her a drama queen. Her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, trying to make sense of it all.

As they moved to the front of the classroom, Daisy tried to focus on the task at hand, which was discussing their project with the teacher. However, she couldn't help but notice Edward standing right behind her. His deadpan eyes caught hers for a moment, adding to her already mixed emotions.

"Great," she thought sarcastically, "First he's all distant, then caring, then insulting, and now he's giving me a deadpan look. Terrific, Edward Leo, just terrific."

Daisy pushed these thoughts aside as they received their project topic, "Social anxiety and measures to control it." She couldn't help but find it ironic given her own struggles with anxiety and her complicated interactions with Edward.

Edward, on the other hand, was secretly smiling at the topic choice, finding it amusing and perhaps a little serendipitous considering their recent interactions.

The teacher praised their partnership, and Daisy sarcastically replied, "Yes, sir, that was a really wise choice. The students were also a great choice." Edward had to stifle a snort at her remark, standing behind her.

Daisy excused themselves from the front and as they settled in their seats, she glared at Edward and declared, "We are gathering our data individually."

Edward was taken aback by her sudden decision, but before he could question her further, Daisy continued, "I will email you the data, and you can compile it. End of discussion."

Edward wanted to ask her why she was doing this, but he sensed that Daisy wasn't in the mood to fully explain. Instead, she began packing her things, signaling that the conversation was over. He followed suit, letting his belongings fall into place.

As they entered the next classroom, Edward noticed that Daisy had chosen a different seat, away from their usual window spot. She seemed to be engaged with other students, listening attentively, and not sitting next to him during the entire lesson.

Edward couldn't help but feel a pang of annoyance mixed with a hint of concern. Was she avoiding him? Did he do something to upset her further? He couldn't be sure, and that uncertainty only added to the complexities of their relationship.

The following days turned into weeks, and the project progressed with Edward and Daisy working separately. Their interactions remained distant, both avoiding the subject of their feelings for each other. The tension between them grew, and they both wondered if they would ever find a way to bridge the gap that had formed between them.

Little did they know that fate had other plans for them, and their project on social anxiety would eventually bring them closer together in unexpected ways. The journey of their transformation from strangers to friends and then, perhaps, to something more was far from over, and both Daisy and Edward were about to embark on a path filled with challenges, growth, and the discovery of true feelings.

As days passed, Edward couldn't help but feel the weight of his actions towards Daisy. He realized that his words might have hurt her and made her feel insecure. He knew he had crossed a line and betrayed her trust, and the guilt was eating away at him. He understood the depth of Daisy's fears and anxieties, and the fact that he had added to them made him feel ashamed.

As the only person in the class who knew about Daisy's social anxiety, Edward had promised to protect her secret. But his actions with Marcel had ruined everything. He could see that Daisy was now enraged and disappointed with him, thinking he was just like everyone else – someone who would mock and belittle her. And that couldn't be farther from the truth. Edward cared deeply for Daisy, perhaps even loved her, but he couldn't bring himself to admit it. If only she knew the extent of his feelings.

While the project they were assigned was meant to be voluntary, what Daisy didn't know was that Edward intentionally took it up to have a reason to spend more time with her. He hoped that working together for two weeks would bring them closer and give him a chance to make amends for his insensitive behavior.

On the other hand, Daisy seemed to be feeling better lately. The project and its requirements occupied her mind, and surprisingly, even Edward's presence didn't seem to bother her right now. She had managed to find some satisfaction in focusing on the task at hand, and it provided a welcome distraction from the anxieties that usually plagued her.

Despite Daisy's apparent improvement, Edward was still going through an internal crisis. He was determined to find a way to make things right with her, to prove that he wasn't the person he had briefly portrayed himself to be. He wanted to be there for Daisy, to be a source of support and comfort rather than someone who added to her worries.

Unbeknownst to Edward, there was another person going through a crisis of their own as they tried to make amends to Daisy. This person had been influenced by Marcel's actions and had treated Daisy poorly in the past, but now they were determined to change their ways and be a better friend to her.

As the days progressed, the tangled web of emotions, regrets, and desires continued to grow between Edward, Daisy, and the others involved. They were all on separate journeys, trying to find a way to mend broken bonds and forge new connections. Whether they would succeed or not, only time would tell. But one thing was certain – the project on social anxiety had opened up a new chapter in their lives, one that would lead them towards a deeper understanding of each other and themselves.

On that sunny day, Daisy found herself eating lunch alone in the cafeteria, feeling a mix of annoyance from Marcel's bullying, disappointment from Edward's recent behavior, and confusion about the project assigned by her teacher. Lost in her own thoughts, she tried to eat quietly and forget about the chaotic emotions swirling within her.

However, her solitude was soon interrupted when she noticed the chair next to her shift. Irritated, she glanced at her side and saw Marcel sitting there. "You?" Daisy retorted, her anger evident in her tone.

"I came here because the other chairs were taken, not to bother you, but now I'm going," Marcel quickly muttered, seemingly aware of the tension.

Daisy stood up, ready to leave and escape the uncomfortable situation, but Marcel stopped her by gently grabbing her forearm. "No, I'm going. You sit here," she said sincerely, a hint of regret in her voice. Daisy didn't say anything, still glaring at Marcel, but she couldn't deny that the unexpected apology caught her off guard.

"Sorry," Marcel added before getting up and walking away. Daisy remained standing for a moment, her mind processing what had just happened. Marcel's apology was unexpected and, to some extent, genuine. Despite her initial irritation, something stirred within her.

As Daisy continued to eat her lunch, her gaze inadvertently drifted towards the classroom window above them. There, she saw Edward, his hazel eyes looking down at her. But Daisy was too engrossed in Marcel's apology to notice Edward's presence or the curiosity in his eyes. She wasn't amused by the encounter with Marcel, but there was something else lingering within her.

A feeling she couldn't quite put into words.

It was jealousy.

The realization hit her like a wave, surprising and confusing her. She had always assumed that Edward's actions affected her the most, but now, seeing Marcel apologize and seemingly making amends, she couldn't help but feel a tinge of jealousy. A part of her wondered why Edward hadn't shown the same remorse and sincerity.

Daisy shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. She didn't want to dwell on these emotions or complicate things further. The project, her anxieties, and now this unexpected encounter with Marcel were already enough to handle. But deep down, she couldn't deny the growing complexity of her feelings and the various connections forming around her.

Little did Daisy know that this moment would be a turning point, one that would set off a chain of events leading to new revelations and unexpected twists in her relationships with both Edward and Marcel. The project on social anxiety might just become a mirror for Daisy and those around her, reflecting their hidden desires, fears, and hopes.

Only time would reveal where these paths would lead and how Daisy's journey would unfold in the coming days.
