Successor of the Cultivation Tower

"Now that you're my successor and apprentice, I'll have you call me Master," said Meng Xuan with a slight smile on her face.

Yuan nodded and said, "Master, before we start training, I would like to check out the other Breakthrough Towers."

"Why? Is the Cultivation Tower and Martial Tower not enough for you?" Meng Xuan asked with a slight frown on her face.

"You're right. I am not satisfied with just these options," Yuan admitted. "As a cultivator, I want to ensure my future is as bright as possible, so I want to visit the other towers and see what I can learn from them as well."

It was an excuse Meng Xuan couldn't argue against. She understood his perspective—after all, striving for a better future was something most people, including herself, aspired to achieve. Blaming Yuan for such a mindset would have been unreasonable.

"Fine, but try not to stay there for too long," she said a moment later.
