Tepes

In the following 2 years up until I turned 12. I occasionally went out to hunt vampires. In these 2 years, I expected someone from the church to meet me. No one came.

Until now that is. Apparently, they were too busy with the Tepes faction conflict to spare someone with the right experience to come and meet me.

A high-ranking exorcist along with an archbishop will be coming to see me in one month. Before they get here. I want clean up the last vampires in the area.

Who I have come to learn, are from the Tepes faction. Which are typically more arrogant. Hence, more aggressive towards humans. The local lord of the vampires is called Baron Uldrik.

Information gained from their blood.

He operates out of a mansion that is underground. A glorified cave home. While everyone was asleep, I snuck out.

"Activate, Crusnik 00."

My six silver wings appear and I take off to where the underground cave entrance is. I arrived in only a few minutes. I wasn't in a rush after all. I enjoyed my short flight.

I formed two long daggers in my hands and walked in with tucked away wings. After walking inside for a short while, I came across a few guards. They recognized me and tried to run away in fear. I stuck a dagger though each of their hearts before they had a chance to scream.

I didn't even bother to drink the blood of these weak creatures. I kept going and found myself looking at an ornate and grand double door. I opened it with my hand normally and walked through.

I was in a buffer room and there were other doors around. This is within the "mansion" now I believe. I just open the door right in front of me. No need to overthink. It reveals a hallway that I traverse to find another door. I go through that and find myself entering a large ballroom.

"Must have been a side door. The cave entrance was probably not the main entrance neither. Blood memories from weak creatures can be...compromised.", I muse in a mutter.

The vampires in the ballroom have not noticed me. They are all dancing around in ridiculous clothes with each other. Humans are strewn around and blood is in the air.

"Oh Baron Uldrik, wonderful party"

"...great party."

"The food is of good stock."

Such comments were common when Baron Uldrik strutted around. There were even higher ranking vampires here too. I was not expecting a party, but I am not complaining.

I spread my silver wings which gets attention. The baron snaps his eyes to me.

"Today, there will be no more vampires", I declare.

I change to a bladed whip made from blood. I start to swing it around has vampires are getting beheaded and shredded. For those I recognized as nobility, I cut off their limbs and slashed their lower jaws. 

The room was painted in more red that it already was when I was done. I was left with 5 noble vampires. They all looked at as if they wanted to speak.

I sneered, "People speak, you all are but animals."

I drained each of them dry despite their pathetic protests that was simply squirming and gargles. I cleaned myself and then pricked my finger to let a single drop of blood drop. Then I went to exit the mansion. An explosion followed I fully left the underground.

Now, there was no more vampires near my home. The Tepes faction animals have been slaughtered for good.

Now, when the exorcist and archbishop come in a month. They will be welcomed by a clean land. Well, clean from the vampires at the least.
