Layla is fired out of the company

In the evening, Layla confidently picked the number card, dialed it number and gave him a call.

  "Hello,". Layla mumbled.

" Yeah,,,who is this please". Jonie asked. 

  "Is me Dal...uh,, my real name is Layla". She mumbled as she nipped her lips.

  "Oh okay you have a nice name". Jonie complemented.

"Well I want us to talk about what happened this morning". Layla petitioned.

  "Okay,, so where should I pick you". Jonie asked.

"Don't worry,,,, I can come let's meet at the restaurant behind the mall". Layla and Jonie concurred then she hanged up.

"Who were you talking to and where are you going,,". Lisa inquires her friend glimpsing like a mother who was asking where her daughter was going.

  "I'm just going to meet Dela's assistant manager who saw me this morning". Layla said while chafing his shoes.

  "Okay I pray it won't turn into a mess".

Lisa said and caressed her friends shoulder then went back to her room.

"Make sure to come early okay". Lisa hastily added with a worried face before going back to her room.

Layla picked her bag and walked away.

"Are you going somewhere". Dela asked when he saw Jonie picking up his car keys. He was in his house to spend their vocational days with him.

  "Yeah I got something to attend to". Jonie and flapped him before leaking the house. Dela inner self didn't feel right, so he stood up, went inside his room for his car keys and followed up with Jonie for he wondered what he was going to execute that was so much significance that ,Jonie  of all people would just ignore his resting to attend to.

He wanted to know what was going on, so immediately Jonie's car took off, he also follow up with him. After awhile drive, He saw

Jonie packing his car near the mall they went to that morning.

  "What is he going to do there". Dela asked himself as he also got down from his car and followed him. Just then his eyes caught Layla who had also gotten down from a cap and was walking towards the same direction Jonie headed to just a moment ago.

"Wait a minute.... Is that not Dal,,, so what I have always thought was true she is really a she and,,,, wait did Jonie knew about it all this while,,, so he also lied to me". Dela thought and his beast outraged. He wanted to follow them up to see what they were going to do in the restaurant but because he was mad at his best friend he went back to his car and drove away without wasting a seconds.

"Where are you". Jonie called Layla on the phone when he got there.

"Turn your back I'm standing over here". Layla said and gave Jonie a curl as she lowered the phone from her ears. Jonie wander back to her and they went up to the top floor of the building which was an empty big space,  where important party for ministers and famous people are held. It's exposed the cities beauty at night and it was a nice view when contemplating from that angle.

"Thanks for coming". Layla said.

  "Coffee,,". She amplified as she stretchforward a cup of coffee in her hand over to Jonie  who took it with a gratitude.

  "Thanks can we talk now". Jonie solicited and Layla proceed telling him everything from the head to toe. After listening to her Jonie grinned and nudged her shoulders.

  "But you should have told me earlier on,,, I would have help you out. You shouldn't have trick us like that".  Jonie said.

  "I had no choice when I actually heard you guys don't accept female workers". Layla said.

  "Okay don't worry but I promise not to tell a soul until you have decided to review it to them yourself. But take care because your beauty might exposed you one day". Jonie said and they both giggled

"Okay it's getting late let me drop you off". Jonie said and this time Layla had no possibility then to conceded for him to drop her off.

  "Ok why not". She said and Jonie held her hands and walked back down to the parking lot where Jonie drove her back to her house.

Dela was pacing up and down in the living room when he heard the door to the belcony opening. He quickly hurled himself in the sofa next to him bluffing to be far asleep.

   Jonie infiltrated and wandered past him reasoning that he was far asleep and didn't want to worry him or wake him up with his tendency inside the room.

    He went to his room and latched the door behind. That litigation of him even made Dela gone crazy that day.  

A whole Jonie will spot him sleeping outside and would depart without waking him up to go and sleep inside. What was truly going on between the two of them.

   He can't loss his friend because of a girl again he wasn't going to let that happen right,,, he stood up and went inside his room to rest himself for work the next successive day.

"How did it go".  Lisa asked her as she squeezed her sleeping face at Layla who was putting off her shoes.

  "Cool,,, nothing really happened".   Layla said and Lisa signed in relief then went back to sleep.

"Switch off the light when you are about to go to bed" Lisa said and covered her whole body with a soft and comfortable blue and pink fur blanket.

  "Okay". Layla said and took her laptop then went out of the room after undressing. She switched off the light has instructed by Lisa.

  Layla went out to the living room and sat down in one of the couch.

   She opened her laptop and swished it's on then went to the messenger box.  she scroll down through some messages with Dela when they were in university.  she looked at them and loved how she was with him.  How she wish the time will go back at when she was happily chatting with Dela, now it seems like everything was going down.

    She was awake throughout the night and only fell asleep when it was around 4 a.m. in the morning.

"Tell me where you went yesterday Jonie". Dela couldn't hold his outraged beasts that morning,   immediately when he came to work the next day,  he went straight to his office. He should had settled the case with him in the house that night but he thought that wouldn't help.

  "Why are you behaving like this all of a sudden. I remember I told you that I have something very important to attend to". Jonie tried explaining himself to his friend while striving as much as possible to hide the truth as well. Since he had made promise to someone not to tell a soul.

He could tell his friend was at the age of exploding but he didn't hold back his promise also.

  "You had something very important with that girly boy or let me say that girl who has boy's name,,". Dela said exposing the truth which hit Jonie hard like a bust of balloon. He could feel his blood streamed down from his brain onto his toes.

  "How did you know,,,". Jonie was confused and frustrated has anxiety hugged him suddenly.

        How did his friend got to know about that. Though he didn't mean to hide the truth from him, because as his best friend he supposed to tell him everything that goes on with him and moreover in his own company.

  "Are you asking me?....how I got to know about it doesn't concern you". Dela said and stormed out from his office and intended on going to look for Layla.

Good for him, he saw Layla walking down the stairs with some files in her hands. It looks like she was going to submit something. Dela who anger hard filled him up dashed away from the stairs and clenched hold of her hands immediately he got to her spots.

  "I want to have a word with you". Dela said and grumbled her away. He took her straight to his office and locked the door behind then nudged Layla to the wall.

"Explain this to me". He showed her a picture he took when he saw them yesterday. Layla could feel her blood streamed down to her veins while her heart wanted to pump out from her chest.

  "Dammit I have been caught,,". Layla thought as she stared at her legs nervously. She can't just tell Dela that she did that just to be close to him because she's in love with him.

  "I'm asking this for the last time and if you don't talk then you are so going to be fired!". Dela said without thinking twice. Layla couldn't say anything she kept quiet and just endured the insult which Dela was running on her.

Anyway she had always no that a day like that will surely come and if that happened to be that day, she was okay with it, after all, it was her fault.

  "Since you have decided not to talk then go out there, pack your things, and get lost from my office!". Dela shouted and she shivered then quickly unlock the door and run out.
