Chapter 1

Today was going to be a an ordinary day as full as ditch water like any other day at highschool or at least that's what she thought. Little did she know that day was about to change her life in highschool or some boy would make her a life a rollercoaster.

Aisha Austin. That was her name and this story was about the life of dear innocent Aisha. She was an intelligent, sweet and adorable young girl of fifteen years old and oh yes! So very beautiful that one would stop just to ogle at her stunning beauty. Oh, you know what! This year was her sweet sixteen, prom and final matric year as she had long waited for those heartful moments for the past three years. She was as graceful as a swan as pure as a lily yet so quiet as a church mouse and somehow she had determination in the way she carried herself whether it was her academics or her personal la vie. She had all these attributes that could make her a popular girl in school but she wore specs and she was a nerd. I am not saying that there's something wrong being a nerd but in her school, people were not big fans of nerds except when they wanted them to do their homework.

What a boring and monotonous life Aisha lived. She attended the same dreary lessons with professors that sang gloomy endless songs or shall I say hyms that were masked as educational information. The same routine played out week after week without change until one day. She was sitting on one of the front uncomfortable lecture room chairs, fidgeting as the unforgiving pain in her back become continuously aching. She was halfly listening to the Biology teacher as she had already completed the assignment which he was currently trying to explain it to other students. Not that the teacher was boring even though that was de facto, is just that the teacher kept on drawling on the same topic about "PLANT CELLS" the whole lesson and yes! It was too hot as the air conditioner weren't working due to electrical meltdown and just for evidence, even the teacher himself was yawning like a hundred times a second.

Just to keep herself busy, she began to doodle at the back of her book and her mind started to stray away from class wondering when would this depressing lesson going to end and she she looked off at the windows, lost in her own thoughts. While still lost in her thoughts, the glass door open suddenly and there behold, he swaggered into the classroom. She then noticed that everyone including Mr George the teacher had stopped talking and they were all staring at someone at the door. She thought that her wish had came true... No-no!! She thought she was dreaming so she shook her head to shake off the silly dream but still even after doing that, it was still silent so she thought of turning to see the mysterious interrupter.

Before she could even see him,she felt his magnetic presence and his cologne pull her out of her imagination and thoughts and back into reality. When she finally did look at him, the first thing she noticed was his eyes. How one miss those eyes ... They were as deep blue as the Pacific ocean and as warm as the sun and were handcrafted to perfection that only God could create. Specks of blue sapphire glittered in them so beautiful that one could even melt the heart of a stone-hearted person. Then there was that smile with his sharp canine teeth that looked like those of a vampire which made her go weak in heart.

She could almost gaze in amazement, unable to mumble a word, move or blink. She wasn't even sure if she was still breathing or if her heart was still pumping blood. She felt as if her heart was st her throat and she had this feeling inside her bones that she couldn't understand. Her world stopped when he turned to face her and their eyes met, it was all like a romantic movie scene when they gazed into each other's eyes. Then all of a sudden when the guy was surely about to say something, Mr George interrupted their moment when he cleared his throat and asked him,

"Shall I ask you, Christopher, where have you been all this time and why are you late to class? "

To which he replied with a charming smile," Well sir, I'm quite sorry for coming late to class. Actually sir, I was stuck in traffic. "

The whole class bursted into laughing because the way he said it was funny then he giggled a little bit and went to add,

"Yeah I know it sounds silly but it's the truth."

Then the teacher looked at the students while clearing his throat as a warning and everyone kept quiet and he then told him to not to repeat the same mistake again and may sit down as he wanted to carry on with the lesson. Christopher then turned back to Aisha who was still lost in the good looks of Christopher as he looked around in class to see where he could sit. During this whole time, Aisha was long far away in dreamland, building castles in the air about things that could happen like their first conversation, first date, first kiss even their wedding and she could even hear the wedding bells but these one's were different because in reality that was the school alarm which alerted people that were only fifteen minutes left before lunch. She then thought there was no way that this could have been fated and that they would be together.
