Season Two: Chapter Seven (Part II)

Suddenly, the car stops forcefully and makes a high-tone screech sound as Adrian hits the brake. His face is fully shocked by what he has just heard from his daughter. He abruptly looks at the back seat where his wife and children are sitting with wide eyes. 

Alex shoots a glare at him for the sudden brake. Thankfully, they are wearing seatbelts and Sky is still sound asleep. She mumbles and mouths words at her husband as their eyes meet to continue driving. And, thankfully, there aren't many cars on the road because people would rather walk to enjoy the weekend night than drive.

"Mommy!" Alliyah stared at her mother, demanding her reply to what she said before.

"That is what I said," Alex says, glancing at her husband through the rear mirror, and their eyes meet again.
