Chapter 24: the Lao Hu

After the great race, when the twelve ascended and became gods. The tigers became known as the Lao Hu race.

And now a small army of Lao hu have come to the cathedral.

“we should head back”

Rai was scared.

She was as well.

They quickly got back into the tunnel and made their way back.

“what do you think they’re doing here?” she asked him.

“i don’t know. Maybe they came for you? Didn't you say once that you still had family in the military?”

It was true. Her older brother and sister. But she highly doubts that the army came just for her.

“no... I don’t think so”

They followed the path back under the tree and climbed up through the roots. They waited for the guards to pass through before they went back to their rooms.

“remember tell no one else about it.”

Tiger nodded, remembering the deal they made. Satisfied Rai went into his room to go to sleep Tiger went back to her room, but she couldn’t help but wonder what was going on?
