Day 1: My New Home

In mid-October, walking through a crowd of leaves falling on the ground like snow, with a big brown suitcase in my hand and my dress fluttering in the wind. My new home in my sight's big and old with long string of Ivy on the side, and roses growing beautifully in the front lawn. Children running all over, big and small, with a pretty lady with black hair, she has blue eyes and a long black dress, looking towards me with a reassuring smile. Walking down the concrete path that started to crumble each step "Crack" "Crack". 

Walking towards the house, the woman standing there with a child on her left hip and a smile on her face, she gently put the small boy down on the ground, he looked about 3 years old , blonde hair, brown eyes that had a shine, I thought he was so cute when he ran away. While watching the little boy running away the woman suddenly was standing to the side of me with that smile again, but more tense like she was trying too hard "Hello dear.. I am Lady Cathy, the sister and mother of this house, you must be the new child, it's.. A pleasure to meet you my dear" she held out her hand for a handshake.

"it's nice to meet you as well, Sister Cathy" I took my hand and grabbed hers; however I felt a really tight grip that kind of hurt my hand. She was saying your not going anywhere with her grip and the way her facial expression appeared to me, with a quick reaction I pulled my hand away from hers and took a step back.

In my thoughts I was beginning to understand that she was very odd and very untrustworthy individual that had a dark side of her that gave me chills down my back and goosebumps on my arms with that I decided to  keep my guard up while I am here and a good distance from her until I know who she really is. While thinking to myself and being quiet, a little girl, the age of six, walked up to me and pulled on my navy blue shirt with a cute little smile, ̈ Hello! You must be my new big sister! I am Daisy and I am six years old¨ I looked down and smiled, bending my knees down to a crouch to get to her level, ̈ Hello Daisy, I am Ava and I am 15 years old, it's a pleasure to meet you ̈ I held out my hand to deliver a hand shake, she shook my hand profusely ¨ Its nice to meet you too, Big Sister Ava ̈ she said with the cutest little smile in the world.

̈ ̈Well, it looks like you two are getting along ̈ Sister Cathy said while walking up towards us,"Sister!¨ daisy said while jumping and grabbing her black dress, wanting to be held. With a bright smile, sister Cathy pats her head gently. " Now, are you ready for the house tour?" she said while being loving to Daisy. Sister didn't give me a glance when she was speaking to me. 

" Yes ma'am," I said politely with my hand now being tugged by Daisy. " Let's go big, sister!" Daisy said with a huge smile. 

While being pulled by daisy, We started the house tour with bright marble kitchen with a chandelier that could be like a star shiningso bright in the sky. two chiefs working on dinner tonight the smell through the hallway made my nose and taste bubs fly through the room, the hallway from the kitchen has white walls with beautiful lights hanging down, however a weird feeling started to a rise in my gut ,that this hallway had its way to clean especially when children came through it constantly.we went towards the living room that had a cabin in the woods kind of feeling with a fireplace that lit the whole house and couch that looked to comfy to sleep on, while looking in the living room with daisy and Sister Cathy, A boy with long blonde hair went down to the middle of his back with ocean blue eyes that sparkled like a clean never ending sea. "Noah? What are you doing inside the house it's time for your daily exercise, " Sister Cathy said with a frown started to stare him down like a hawk. He turned and looked at her replied with a smirk ,"hello to you as well sister, doing pushups and sit ups got boring and tiresome foe me so i came in picked out a book to read to pass the time Sister who is that person standing next to you" He said,pointed and turned his glare at me with those beautiful blue eyes i looked back at them with wonder and awe " This is Ava, she is our new child here and she will be staying for awhile so try to be polite to her Noah." Sister Cathy said with a leveled voice, Noah kept kooking at me looked down at his book closed it softly gets up from his seat started walking towards me then puts his hand out with a smirk again " it's Nice to meet you ugo".looked at him speechless and spaced out "ugo?" I said while putting my hand out and shaking his," Noah! How rude!" Sister said with suprise on her face and a mean glace. He laughed at me then turned his glance to the sister and said with a smile " i am just kidding no need to be mad sister sorry ava" he turned back his gaze and the smirk disappeared then he walked away. Still spaced out from what happened I looked down at Daisy then a the sister, she took a deep breathe then looked at me with a smile "shall we continue the tour."

"Yes.. let's continue" I said with a smile while standing behind her while she walks "Let's go then" Sister while walking she stopped at a big grey door with locks attached to it and a thick plank of wood in front nailed to it , we ending up walking up to it then sister lowered herself and touched one of the locks then looked at me."Ava this door is off limits everyone in the orphanage know about this door please dont come near it".I looked at it and asked "why? Is it off limits if u dont mind me asking sister?" i looking at it then back at her, she gave me a huge smiles "its just for storage old stuff back there thats why we keep it locked so no one gets hurt, now lets continue our tour shall we." While Daisy is laughing jumping and smiling with Sister looked at her with a smile then started to walk I looked back at the door shrugged then started to walk as well.

A few long hours, the tour finally ended with me being completely exhausted then we stopped in a big bedroom with a beautiful bed and a window toward where the sun would set, i walked through the door with Sister and Daisy behind me. Sister looked at me then said" This is your new room,we have a bed room schedule bed time is 9pm to 8 am you must have youre bed made every morning and you must be on time for muster do u understand?" Looked at her then nodded and walked towards the bed while touching the soft blankets she put a pair of clothes,a black shirt and a long skirt on my dresser " thank u for the pair of clothes what are they for?" i asked cursously "this is the dress code everyone must wear a uniform that is the rules of the orphanage please wear them everyday." The Sister said with a small smile she turned around and started walking towards the door and turned her head to look at me "relax and enjoy your room dinner is in an hour I must go help with the preparation, please join us when your ready." Sister said and she looked down at daisy "well come on daisy we gotta give ava time to settle in lets go" she smiled, Daisy jumped up in happiness rushes to give me a hug and run back to grabs sisters hand "bye ava! See you later" smiled and waves with the other hand. A huge smiled appeared on my face and waved back, then watched them walk out the door and closed it softly. Jumped on my bed enjoying the soft sheets like laying on a cloud, then I closed me eyes and drifted off to sleep.
