Chapter 7: Manastura

"After a few minutes, they eventually got back up and went back up and decided to make progress, as they continued walking, they say before themselves was a bridge connecting a path to the way to the mountain." The Narrator opened.

"But before they could even set foot on the bridge, a giant made completely out of stone, covered with moss, appeared before them, guarding the bridge." The Narrator said.

"That right there my dear friends, is one of the guardians of the Aethereal Dreamstone Crystal, known as Manastura." Zino stated as he saw the ferocity of the guardian.

"Interesting, I'm guessing this guardian's power are earth-related abilities." Athena remarked upon observing Manastura.

"You are correct with that one, Miss Athena." Zino remarked.

"Well then if he won't let us pass, then I guess we'll have to do it ourselves!" Creo said as he unsheats his sword and charges to attack Manastura.

"The stone guardian saw Creo charging before him in his direction and decided to charge towards him as well." The Narrator said.

"Creo uses his gauntlets and create a Warhammer using his powers and uses it to hit the stone guardian which temporarily distracts him." The Narrator exclaimed.

"Manastura got back into top shape and hit him back with his earth spike knocking him back towards his friend's direction." The Narrator said.

"Good grief, well it looks like I'm going to have to assist His Majesty no one will stop me from even trying !" Athena stated as she got up and went to help Creo out in confronting Manastura.

"She went to use her ice-related abilities and freezes Manastura upon contact but Manastura was able to break free from her ice trap." The Narrator exclaimed.

"Hmmm not bad for a guardian, I can see that you're quite the challenge." Athena was shocked but quickly smirked at the guardian upon touching the ground .

"I guess this next one will also catch you off guard, guardian!" Athena smirked as she let out an ice spike which catches Manastura off-guard and gets stabbed.

"Manastura could not help but grunt after not foreseeing his enemy's attack, nonetheless he accepted his injury." The Narrator said.

"Alright go ahead and take over while he's vulnerable, I can't hold him off for much longer." Athena stated as she struggles in controlling the ice spike she made.

"On it, Miss Athena." The Bookkeeper stated as he rushed in and went to use his magical book and cast a spell that created a binding chain to stop Manastura from moving his arms.

"Need a helping hand?" Zino asked sarcastically.

"Zino rushes into the bridge and helps out Athena and The Bookkeeper with the binding chains." The Narrator stated.

"Zion Kishima and Creo charge in with Zion using his stealth abilities to distract Manastura giving enough time for Creo to attack the guardian with his war hammer." The Narrator rebuked.

"Creo infuses the power of his Kontroligan with the war hammer, controlling the grip and power of his weapon, he proceeds to hit Manastura with a powerful attack that turns him into a pile of stones scattered across the whole area." The Narrator startled in shock.

"You know he's not bad for a guardian, he was strong at first but in the end, he just seemed to be weak in my opinion." The Bookkeeper said.

"I just thought he would put up more of a challenge." The Bookkeeper stated in disappointment.

"Well according to the myth, my dear friends he is the weakest among the five guardians, so Manastura over there was just the tip of the iceberg." Zino explained to the Bookkeeper.

"There's four more guardians we have to beat in order for us to go get the legendary Aethereal Dreamstone Crystal." Zino replied.

"After they crossed the bridge, and walked for a while, they suddenly heard a loud voice and turned around to check who it was." The Narrator said.

"Not so fast, you trouble-making youngsters!" Rook declared as he and his men surround them, with him riding on the steampunk warship.

"I suggest you all give up early on or else, you will suffer the consequences." Rook stated as he pointed a cannon towards them.

"If there is one thing that this group doesn't know, it is to give up early on!" Creo shouted back at Rook.

"Oh well you have been warned. Fire!" Rook declared as a barrage of cannonballs were being fired towards their direction.

"The Bookkeeper and Zino use their magic and open a portal to catch the incoming cannonballs." The Narrator exclaimed.

"Athena, I've got a strategy, I want you to trust me on this one." Creo whispered to Athena.

"I'm ready to hear it, Creo." Athena replied.

"After that, Athena decided to fire back at them and shoot out a fireball which hits Rook's warship and causes them to crash them down to the ground.

"But Rook and the other Pawn soldier came out of the wreckages of their destroyed warship unscathed and went to confront Creo and his group." The Narrator stated.

"Don't push your luck, King of Elderith. You might just lose it after this." Rook said angrily and spits before Creo.

"Oh but I'm afraid that me and my group have all the luck and competence that we will need." Creo replied back at Rook.

"Now Athena..." Creo said as he turned over to Athena.

"With pleasure, Your Highness." Athena smirked as she went to confront Rook and the enemy soldiers.

"She proceeds to freeze Rook and the Pawn soldiers legs making them unable to move." The Narrator stated.

"You doubt us too much, but I believe it is you who should already give up while you're already ahead of yourself." Athena smirked as she pointed her sword towards Rook.

"Good work Athena, now let's get on the move before these guys start to call for some reinforcements, let's go!" Creo stated.

"The rest of them agreed and went to follow Creo and they left Rook and the Pawn soldiers nearby their wrecked warship and head back to the path to the Aethereal Dreamstone Crystal." The Narrator stated.
