Chapter 18: Attack on Elderith

"As King, Queen and Nightshade escape and flew away aboard their steampunk warship and headed towards a different direction, making devastating plans." The Narrator said.

"Tonight we strike and lay waste in the kingdom of Elderith!!!" King said to his associates.

"Bring all the men we have, because today marks the day that the world will fall into our hands, and we will begin with Eldoria!!!" King proclaimed.

"Queen, Nightshade and the Pawn soldiers nod in agreement and headed off to destroy Elderith." The Narrator said.

"Meanwhile Creo and his colleagues arrive back in Eldoria with the use of the portal that Zino had opened." The Narrator stated.

"Creo, what in the blazes of hell is going on?" A mysterious voice said.

"Listen Oskar, things are not going as things should be, what I want you to do is to evacuate the citizens and take them to safety." Creo replied.

"What for?" Oskar asked, waiting for Creo to respond.

"A terrorist organization that goes by the name of CHESS is heading to attack this very kingdom, luckily with the help of my warlock friend, Zino. We were able to arrive before the chaos could even start." Creo stated, explaining the details.

"I see, I will do what I must." Oskar stated.

"Oskar rushed off, Creo followed him and went on to the center of Elderith calling out the attention of the people of Elderith." The Narrator said.

"Listen everyone, all of you must evacuate for impending doom shall arrive, a terrorist organization by the name of CHESS is arriving and planning to destroy this kingdom, seek refuge and safety, me and my companions will do the rest to fight till the end." Creo announced.

"And Oskar, don't fail me." Creo said as he put his hand over Oskar's shoulder.

"I won't, buddy. Now everyone follow me!" Oskar replied with a smile.

"Now the only thing left to do is to prepare." Creo stated.

"I'm still keeping our end of the bargain." The Arquitenen Leader said.

"I'm glad you're willing to help us." Creo said.

"What are allies for." The Arquitenen Leader said sarcastically.

"My knights prepare for aerial strike, head up the walls, the rest prepapre on the ground and don't worry the Arquitenen Archers are there to assist you!" Creo exclaimed.

"A few minutes later, CHESS had arrived with five warships at their disposal, charging and entering the kingdom of Elderith." The Narrator said.

"Looks like they brought in the cavalry." Athena stated as she prepared to draw her sword.

"Aim for the ship while they're still not attacking!!!" The Arquitenen Leader shouted.

"The Arquitenen Archers released their bows and shot at the main CHESS steampunk warship which causes it to fall." The Narrator said.

"But King, Queen and Nightshade landed safely and entered inside the kingdom of Elderith with the use of their handmade gliders." The Narrator said in shock.

"Crap, they had a backup plan." Zion stated angrily.

"We meet again, King of Elderith!" King said as he charged at Creo, clashing his sword at him.

"Youre quite the nuisance! Give back the crystal!" Creo said angrily as he clashed his sword.

"Hmmm, how about no!" King said mockingly as he kicked Creo.

"Nightshade proceeded to use his shadow powers and went to control Zion with his shadow." The Narrator said.

"You're fighting me, big boy!" Nightshade said sarcastically.

"Pawns, rain down upon this kingdom!" Queen ordered.

"The Pawns proceeded to shoot cannons, destroying some houses in the kingdom." The Narrator said in shock.

"You'll pay for that!" Athena said as she charges at Queen.

"You're quite the insolent brat!" Queen said as she blocked her attack, knocking her back.

"The Bookkeeper, had just finished recovering, joins in the battle and fights against Nightshade and assists Zino." The Narrator said.

"Am I late for the party?" The Bookkeeper said sarcastically as he jumped in.

"No, you're just in time!" Zino said happily.

"The two of them fight against Nightshade in hopes to recover Zion from his clutches." The Narrator said.

"Pawns! Fly down and attack the enemies!" King said angrily ordering his men to land down in the kingdom.

"The Pawns, using the glider landed on the kingdom and fought against the Arquitenen archers and the Elderith knights." The Narrator stated.

"You must be the leader of the Arquitenens, quite the honor to fight you!" The Pawn leader exclaimed.

"Flattery will not get you anywhere, you fool!" The Arquitenen Leader said as he blocked the Pawn leader's attack.

"As the Pawn leader and Arquitenen Leader battle off, both of them start to impress one another." The Narrator said.

"You're quite the fighter I'll give you that!" The Arquitenen Leader said as he was impressed that the Pawn leader can still keep up.

"It's an honor to be acknowledged by the leader of Arcanus but let's end things quickly shall we?" The Pawn leader stated.

"Bring it on!" The Arquitenen replied.

"The Arquitenen Leader launched an arrow that almost grazed towards Pawn Leader's face." The Narrator said.

"That was close, my turn." The Pawn leader said maliciously.

"The Pawn leader strikes his blade but the Arquitenen Leader blocks the sword with his bow using it as a makeshift defense weapon." The Narrator said.

"As their clash had continued, it was about to reach its point with The Pawn leader getting shot by one of the Arquitenen Leader's arrows, ending their fight." The Narrator stated.

"You lived up to the hype, but you did not meet my expectations enough." The Arquitenen Leader said as he looked down on the Pawn Leader's lifeless body.

"Meanwhile The Bookkeeper was manage to free Zion from Nightshade's clutches by using a stronger counter-spell." The Narrator said.

"Your counter-spell was strong but I still have a few tricks up my sleeve." Nightshade said as he was getting up from the ground.

"Yeah, I'm sure you do!" Zino said.

"Zino and Nightshade have a duel of mystic arts with Zino casting mystic blades but Nightshade blocks it with his magic." The Narrator said.

"That was close, you cheeky bastard!" Nightshade said angrily.

"What's the matter, I'm only returning the favor?" Zino said sarcastically.

"Zino and Nightshade continue their fight with The Bookkeeper entering in as third party." The Narrator said.

"You seem to be struggling Zino, so I'm going to assist you now besides I just finished healing Zion, and he's busy dealing with the Pawn soldiers." The Bookkeeper chuckled.

"Alright then, let's beat this bloody bastard together then!" Zion exclaimed.

"Don't push your luck!" Nightshade said angrily.

"As Nightshade began to use his shadows to chase after both Zino and the Bookkeeper, they realize that if they just have better speed and better reaction, then they would be able to beat Nightshade in his own game." The Narrator said.

"As the Bookkeeper was attacking upfront, Nightshade was about to use his shadow upon him, until Zino used his mystic blade and waved his hand and stabs Nightshade's back, catching him off-guard." The Narrator said.

"Argh!" Nightshade shouted as he felt the pain and started to bleed out.

"Now you know what it feels like to suffer pain, Nightshade." The Bookkeeper respond.

"Plus, we'll send you to hell after this!" Zino said sarcastically.

"Damn you bastards!" Nightshade said.

"Zino creates a portal and the Bookkeeper kicks Nightshade by his wound and closes the portal." The Narrator said.

"Phew, glad we won't see him again." Zino said.

"Indeed, now let's go help Creo and the others out with dealing with those Pawn soldiers, shall we?" Zino asked.

"Roger that!" The Bookkeeper said as he followed Zino.

"Meanwhile, King and Creo continued on with clashing their blades until King knocks Creo the ground and walks away." The Narrator said.

"Get back here! We're not done yet!" Creo said as he was struggling to get up.

"I wish we could continue but I have other things to deal with, come Queen and Pawns, we storm the other areas of this kingdom." King said as he walked away.

"As Elderith was experiencing destruction, Creo was fighting for it's safety but what will happen next will make him reach his breaking point." The Narrator concluded.
