Surprise Gift from the System

Soon after Nikko got his senses back, he tried to calm himself but had trouble as this was the first time the system was acting all nice and goofy towards him.

But he opened the system interface to see the announcement and saw written, "Host, congratulation for passing the academy admission and getting selected. To motivate you on your journey, the system will allow you to either select one of the skills or create one skill right now with the system's help. What would the host like to do?"

Now Nikko felt confused. He has many thoughts about new jutsu and skills he wants to try to create in his previous world. But he also knows that with his current stats, he will not be able to fully demonstrate the power of those jutsus even if he has full idea and knowledge. And his 6 years experience in this ninja world, he understood one thing and that was, one's own power is the thing which will remain with him always.

So after deciding that he will select one of the skills, the system was satisfied as it told Nikko, 'I didn't think that you have a working brain inside your head and selected the correct decision. Otherwise many fall for the wrong path in pursuit of strength and power and meet early demise.'. Though even after deciding to learn one skill rather than create a new one he was slightly disappointed about his choice, he is now fully satisfied after hearing the system.

So Nikko was now thinking about what technique he should take from the system. When he thought about the skills, he was mesmerized by the the might of Forbidden Taijutsu: Eight Gate and always wants to learn this technique which can help its practitioner to face god like Six-Sage Uchiha Madara and almost beat him if there wasn't the help of hashirama cell and plot armour. But learning it without having a body capable of handling backlash of the jutsu, it would only leave him vulnerable and thus he decided to not select this.

There is also one jutsu he wants to learn and that is the Flying Thunder God Jutsu. He was always a fan of Minato in his previous world and how he uses this jutsu to become the fastest shinobi ever and become the hero of 3rd Ninja War which leads him to become the 4th Hokage of Hidden Leaf. It was also cool looking jutsu which made most of the people surprised and fearful of the unknown. But the requirements of this jutsu is also high and current Nikko would be trampled under the pressure of this jutsu. So he also decided to not select Flying Thunder God Jutsu.

When he was almost mad from the confusion of choosing the jutsu as most of the desired ones have requirements which current Nikko can't provide, he suddenly remembered the Shadow Clone Jutsu. It is a B rank Jutsu and normally used for spy work by the ninja. But it has sent the user the experiences it gathered during its lifetime and Nikko wants this more. With the use of this technique, he can speed up his learning process and also work on more things.

Though he does not have a high volume of chakra to properly utilise the skill, he can always moderately use this technique to gather required experiences before he can fully utilise the skill to his uses. So without any hesitation, Nikko asked the system if it is possible for the system to give him the knowledge of Shadow Clone Jutsu and after the system gave the green light, he chose Shadow Clone Technique to be his first gift received from the system.

After that, suddenly a surge of information which was previously unknown to Nikko flooded his brain and he felt slight pain. But when he felt that pain reduced, he automatically remembered the whole information about how to use Shadow Clone Technique.

'Hahaha.. Now let's see who will leave me behind in this world. From now on, I will just spam the clone wherever I see I can laze around sometime.' Nikko was thinking as he was laughing inside his head.
