Looking at the Personal Information Panel, Brian realized that this [Selection Area] was different from the one John Jacob Bastor IV went through.
"Fuck it! I will improvise my plans" Brian cursed under his breath as he had a certain series of plans before coming here which will now become useless.
John Jacob Bastor IV went to the [Selection Area] with Orcs.
Handling orcs was much easier than fooling the cunning humans as orcs are just muscle-brained.
Brian still had 3 plans along with 2 backup plans to deal with humans but Unfortunately, it was all for none.
Brian calmed himself by taking a deep breath and turned his gaze towards the forest near him to find something useful for him.
Just after walking for a few minutes, he found a hanging root that could be used to tie the lunatic man.
*Thwack*
"Huh! What?..."
*Thwack*
After tying him to a tree, Brian woke him up with a slap.
"You only speak when asked to" Brain said in an emotionless tone.
Although the tone was emotionless, the gaze with which he looked towards the lunatic man was dreadful. It was the gaze of a predator looking at its prey. The scared lunatic man had no lunacy left as he nodded heavily.
"What is your name?"
"Jack Baird" the lunatic man replied while still having lingering fear about how Brian killed the timid man earlier.
"I have just arrived here, tell me everything you know about this world" Brian asked in a casual tone before sitting down beside him as if ready for a nice long story.
He had decided to check the communication tab, Storage function, and the Ghost Reaper's physique after he was finished interrogating the lunatic man named Jack.
"This world is called [Selection Area] and we have arrived here for almost 10 days now. 2 days ago the Beast Tide was over and now everyone is rushing outside their territories to hunt for people and plunder their Creation Points to level up and use their 'help'. I was also just trying to get some Creation points and did not intend to steal Sir's prey. I am ready to give you all of my Creation Points and even my living supplies So, please let me go sir" Jack started with a fearless tone, but towards the end, he became like a slave begging for forgiveness.
Brain ignored his behaviour as he was more concerned about the time difference. In John Jacob Bastor IV's memory, there was nothing mentioned about the time difference.
Brian was not at all worried about his parents surviving the Beast Tide as he knew their strength and he had also decided their 'help' beforehand to give them an upper hand in the [Selection Area]
"I will see if I can leave you but first you need to answer my questions" Brain said in a casual tone making it impossible to deduce what was going on in his mind.
Jack had no other choice so he helplessly nodded.
"How do you guys use your 'help'?
How many Creation Points do you have and how can they be used?"
Brian already knew the way to use Creation Points but just to be sure, he still asked Jack about it.
"When we click the 'help' various options to use 'help' are shown to us which require Creation Points. For example- My 'help' is [Slaughter] which helps me to be able to slaughter indiscriminately using the knife and the skill level increases by a small margin with each slaughter I do.
The 'help' also includes various skill options which can be bought using Creation Points.
Currently, I have 935 Creation Points which I was saving for a certain skill" Jack blurted it all.
Jack pondered for a bit, matching the current information with the one he got from the memory fragment.
'The timidly acting man definitely was stronger than Jack. So, he should also have more Creation Points than him but that isn't the case. Probably, he would've bought some skills that he had no chance to show against my dagger.'
Brian gave it a thought and found out the most likely outcome for the fewer Creation Points on the timid person.
According to his calculations, everyone was given 50 Creation Points on arriving in this world and the rest of 418 Creation Points would've been the ones he plundered from the timid person.
"What resources do you have and how do we activate the Storage option on the [Personal Information] tab…
Also, what is with the Subordinates option?" Brian was also curious about the new options which were not present in John Jacob Bastor IV's [Selection Area]
"My current resources are a few wooden logs, about 28 iron blocks, and a huge amount of meat from the Beast Tide. I also have a broken wooden house, a few hundred meters in the west
Storage is just as the name states, can store a certain limit of objects. It can be increased with the help of Creation Points. To open the Storage in the first place one needs to be at least level 5.
The subordinate option is very mysterious. According to the people in [Human Chat], one can ask someone to become their subordinate and a pop-up will come on their interface to accept or deny whether to become their subordinate. Becoming a subordinate means handing over their life to the Owner and the owner can also find out what is going on in the Subordinate's mind, making it all the more mysterious."
Jack had already given up against Brian's threatening gaze and his perfect kill, so he had no scruples to tell everything he knew to Brian.
Brian was taken aback by the new information. There was nothing called Items, or the subordinate option in John Jacob Bastor IV's [Selection Area]
Brian remembered the [Contract] from John Jacob Bastor IV's memory which did the same work as the Subordinate function, the only difference was that [Contract] required Creation Points while Subordinate did not, and with [Contract] the owner had no option of killing the person directly unlike Subordinate option, in which the owner can kill the subordinate directly.
Brian sorted up his mind before revealing a large smile which creeped the already scared Jack
Turns out that Brian already had the basic outlook of his future plans in this [Selection Area]
"Let's start the party" Brian said with happiness on his face for the first time after 3 years of hardship and struggle.
After finally seeing the results of his hardships on earth and the future path based on that, Brian couldn't help but be happy. After all, he had sacrificed everything he had just to prepare just for this moment.
