Creating My Own Army (on hold)

[Current World: Naruto] This story takes place in an alternate universe (AU) of Earth, where kingdoms still exist. The main character (MC) is the youngest war general due to a conflict with a more powerful kingdom. After dying in battle, the MC is offered a unique opportunity: a job that involves fighting monsters and armies. This position comes with two options—if they accept, they will gain power by going through trials; otherwise, they can choose to ascend to heaven or be reincarnated into their original world once again 1. Please note, this is not a harem story. I attempted to create one in my first fanfiction but struggled to find a plausible way to introduce such dynamics. Additionally, after reading numerous harem stories, while I don’t dislike the concept itself, the justifications provided in those narratives often felt contrived and unconvincing—for example, "He’s so strong, I need sisters," or "He’s the last of his clan, so he needs multiple wives." These reasons simply didn't resonate with me. Therefore, if romance becomes part of this story, it will feature a single pairing rather than a harem setup. Disclaimer: I do not own the Naruto world or any of its characters. My story only includes an original character (OC). Furthermore, I do not claim ownership of the cover picture used for this work. If the rightful owner wishes for it to be removed, please contact me.

Funeral(Fixed)

At the Konoha cemetery, hundreds of people dressed in black gathered, their clan logos prominently displayed. The majority were Uchiha members, but the heads of other prominent clans, along with some of their members, Danzo, the civilian council, and even the Hokage himself, were present.

Worry and displeasure were evident on the faces of both the Hokage and the civilian council members. They wouldn't have attended if not for Danzo's insistence. Meanwhile, the Uchiha members mourned their fallen but stood tall, exuding strength to demonstrate that the clan was stronger than ever. They awaited the arrival of their new clan head.

[Among the Crowds]

A nervous council member whispered to Danzo: "Danzo-sama, should we really be here? This feels like enemy territory. If they decide to attack us or stage a coup right now, we're dead."

Danzo shot him a disdainful look, one typically reserved for trash. 'This fool dares act as though we aren't responsible for this mess? Pathetic. To think I used to be just like them before meeting His Majesty…'

Danzo: "As I've already explained, there will be no coup. The new clan head has taken full control of the Uchiha clan. You'd do well to show respect and offer apologies for the lives lost—we bear responsibility for what happened here."

The council members were visibly shaken by his words and quickly tried to deny any involvement, blaming others instead. Danzo silenced them with a cold glare, thinking to himself: 'Unredeemable trash.'

Meanwhile, the Third Hokage fidgeted anxiously. 'Why isn't he here yet? How dare he make me wait, along with everyone else. This blatant disregard for my authority is troubling…'

Minutes later, the atmosphere shifted. All the Uchiha members began moving in unison, forming a clear path from the cemetery entrance to the memorial stone erected to honor the deceased. A group approached slowly, drawing everyone's attention.

The procession consisted of thirteen individuals. At the forefront walked Ajamu, flanked by Gaku and Miko, followed by their two sons. Behind them marched eight members of the Ten Commandments, excluding the two assigned to defend the compound. As Ajamu reached the start of the path, each Uchiha member lining the route bowed their heads in reverence. The sight left the other clans, the Hokage, and the council members stunned—some with shock, others with envy.

Ajamu advanced steadily until he reached the memorial. Placing a white flower upon it, he stepped back, allowing his group to follow suit. Then, without using hand seals, he activated an Earth Style technique to create a raised platform. Climbing atop it alongside Gaku and Miko, the remaining eight Commandments formed a protective circle around the stand. With a booming, authoritative voice, Ajamu addressed the crowd.

Ajamu: "Today is a somber day for our clan. Due to years of mistreatment and baseless accusations from the village, a faction within our ranks could no longer endure the injustice. In their anger and pain, they sought to stage a coup against Konoha—a grave betrayal of our vows as citizens of this village at the time."

He paused, letting his words sink in. The non-Uchiha attendees exchanged disbelieving glances, their expressions laced with worry.

Ajamu: "However, this tragedy cannot be laid solely at the feet of the Uchiha clan. Despite our obvious lack of involvement in the Kyuubi attack, we were unjustly blamed simply because someone claimed to see a Sharingan in the beast's eyes during the assault. For reasons unknown, the civilian council held the entire clan accountable, ignoring the fact that the Uchiha police force was responsible for protecting the villagers during the attack—and that we too lost clan members that night."

At this point, the Hokage attempted to interrupt, denying Ajamu's claims. But before he could speak, Ajamu activated a skill.

[Skill: Bloodlust Activated]

Targets: Hokage and Council Members gain Fear Status Effect.

Undeterred, Ajamu continued: "What followed was a tragic civil war—an internal conflict sparked by cries of anger and despair. Yet, justice remains unserved. And now, I bring you the Fire Daimyo's decree." He pulled out a scroll bearing the Daimyo's official seal.

[Flashback]

Using [Teleport to Shadow] , Ajamu teleported directly into the shadow stationed near the Fire Daimyo, who sat in his office at home. Suddenly appearing in the room, Ajamu's shadows restrained the startled Daimyo before he could call for help. Using his brainwashing ability, Ajamu ensured the Daimyo became a loyal supporter, believing every action stemmed from his own free will. Under Ajamu's guidance, the Daimyo drafted a formal decree, approving the engagement between Itachi and his daughter and arranging a meeting place for them.

[End Flashback]

Returning to the present, Ajamu unfurled the decree and read aloud:

"I, the Fire Daimyo, upon receiving undeniable proof of the injustices inflicted upon the Uchiha clan, express my deepest sorrow and disappointment in the leadership and governance of Konoha. Therefore, I hereby declare the Uchiha clan completely independent, granting them the right to self-governance and ownership of the land they inhabit. Furthermore, I recognize Ajamu Uchiha as the legitimate head of the clan."

The audience stared in utter disbelief. Mouths hung open, unable to process the magnitude of the announcement.

But Ajamu wasn't finished. Smirking inwardly, he added: "And to deliver true justice for the crimes committed against the Uchiha clan, I hereby dissolve the current civilian council. All its members are to be arrested and executed for their treachery. Their assets shall be transferred to the Uchiha clan."

Before the terrified council members could flee, Uchiha guards swiftly apprehended them.

Ajamu: "As for Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage—his incompetence has been exposed through recent events, including his agreement to assign a mission ordering Itachi Uchiha to exterminate the entire clan. Thus, he is hereby stripped of his title, arrested, and will face prosecution for his failures. In his stead, I appoint my brother-in-law, Gaku Uchiha, as the Fifth Hokage of Konoha, effective immediately upon the reading of this decree."

Ajamu scanned the reactions of the other clan heads, their members, and the gathered Konoha shinobi. Some had fainted outright, overwhelmed by the shocking revelations. Others pinched themselves, convinced they were dreaming. Meanwhile, the Uchiha members grinned triumphantly, relishing the stunned silence.

Ajamu mirrored their smiles, thinking to himself: 'With this, I've secured the future of the Uchiha clan and delivered justice for the fallen.'
