CHAPTER 24: MISSION

Sarah recalled her last visit to an amusement park. Her children wanted to play, and she did not want to be bothered by them. She only stayed for a few minutes before leaving them with the nanny.

She regretted a lot of things and hoped to make amends in the future. She was going to spoil them and pamper them to make up for all the times she had missed previously.

After three hours of playing, the two were exhausted and simply wanted to lie down and rest.

A luxurious black sedan pulled alongside them as they considered taking a taxi back to the hotel.

Sarah noticed Sia's expression and knew right away who had sent the car.

"Big sis, the driver has arrived. Let's go back to the hotel," Sia said cheerfully.

Sarah got into the car without questioning Sia, and the two chatted happily on the way back.

Sia was clingy, but Sarah was able to send her away after showing her the suite she was staying in.

Sarah first cleaned herself inside her suite before changing into a knee-length dress and flat shoes.

While she waited for Sarah to come and pick her up for supper, she made a video call to O'Neal and spoke with him for eight minutes before hanging up as Sia approached the door.

Sia was also dressed nicely, and instead of going out to eat, the two went to the hotel's restaurant.

After supper, the two walked around the hotel, digesting their food, before saying their goodbyes.

Sarah was elated because she had made a friend out of a little girl. She wondered how Sia would react if she discovered her true age.

She had no idea why the system had assigned her this mission, but she was enjoying it so far.

Sia, on the other hand, was frowning as she looked at the person who had sold her out. How could she do this?

"I was only doing this for your own good, young Miss. Going out on your own is extremely dangerous. Everyone is very concerned," the nanny stated righteously as she looked at Sia.

"I understand why you did it, Nanny, but did you have to tell them about Sarah as well? She's my friend, and I don't want anyone looking into her!"

Sia became increasingly enraged as she considered how her family only needed to look into Sarah, the first person she felt very comfortable around.

"What if, Miss, she approached you for_"

"She isn't like that at all. Tell everyone to back off, or I'll really run away!"

Hearing this, the nanny became terrified and decided to silently investigate Sarah. She was not going to keep a vixen by her Miss's side.

After dealing with her nanny, Sia received a call from that man, who also happens to be her childhood fiancé, about whom she had mixed feelings.

Their engagement was something she despised from childhood, but as she grew older, she realized that not everyone was as fortunate as she was.

Her fiancé was wealthy, attractive, and drew a lot of attention.

This almost perfect man, on the other hand, was only interested in her and only sees her in his eyes. She was extremely fortunate in that she has a fiancé who loves her for who she is, not what she had.

Her family was not as wealthy as her fiancé's, so she cannot claim that he was with her for the money. She only had one complaint about her fiancé, and that was that he was too controlling and possessive.

He never gave her a chance to get some fresh air; he always interferes with everything she does, which irritates her. She was also aware that he was already investigating Sarah and that she needed to put a stop to it as soon as possible.

However, what he told her left her even more perplexed and intrigued by Sarah.

What kind of life was Sarah leading if her mighty fiancé couldn't even find her? Just who exactly is Sarah? Was she that powerful that even her fiancé couldn't even find anything on her?

'It appears that this time, I have befriended a bigwig. He's finally met his match!'

Sia was clearly pleased with everything and looking forward to what the future held.

Sarah began her day the next morning with some exercise, which she will not skip no matter how busy she is. She changed into blue jeans, a pink t-shirt, and black sneakers after working out.

She had no intention of playing, but rather of exploring more of the city. Sia has her phone number and will simply call if she needs her.

When she came out of her suite, she saw the lady she didn't like, and the other looked at her with hostility. Before she could wonder why the other was hating on her so much, she saw a slightly plump man emerge from the suite, and his lecherous gaze lingered on her for a while before shifting to the lady.

When Sarah saw this, she scoffed as a thought occurred to her. She took the elevator without thinking about the two, and they, unfortunately, joined her.

They didn't talk to each other, but the atmosphere was clearly strange; luckily, some other people from other floors joined them, making things much better.

Sarah, who had planned to accompany the two to the restaurant, decided against it and instead went out to eat her breakfast.

Finally, she chose a breakfast establishment a short taxi ride from the hotel, and before she ordered, Sia called.

As a result, Sia waited outside for Sia while the other was approaching. Minutes later, the two were seated in the shop, eating their breakfast and thoroughly enjoying it.

Sarah and Sia were all over the place that day. They went to the museum and an art gallery, which Sarah didn't enjoy much but endured for the sake of Sia.

They went to a private zoo after lunch and watched some animals, took photos and videos, and had a great time together.
