Beneath the shimmering expanse of the celestial heavens, amidst the vastness of space, Cosmos, the enigmatic God of Space, stood alongside his brother Poseidon, the mighty God of Oceans. The ethereal glow of distant stars cast a mesmerizing backdrop as the two siblings found themselves in an unexpected reunion.
Poseidon's gaze bore a tinge of frostiness as he beheld his oldest brother, Cosmos. The God of Oceans had not anticipated encountering Cosmos again, for after the harrowing War with the Titans, Cosmos had withdrawn into self-imposed seclusion, distancing himself from the affairs of both gods and mortals alike.
As Poseidon regarded Cosmos with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension, the atmosphere crackled with unspoken tension. Cosmos, clad in celestial robes that seemed to shimmer with the remnants of forgotten galaxies, stood tall and enigmatic, his presence an enigma unto itself.
The silence between the two brothers spoke volumes, echoing the passage of time and the weight of unresolved emotions. Poseidon's expression betrayed a sense of longing mixed with resentment, for Cosmos's absence had left a void within the pantheon that none could fill.
Yet, despite the palpable distance between them, there lingered a faint glimmer of kinship, a bond forged in the crucible of divine heritage. As the celestial currents ebbed and flowed around them, Cosmos and Poseidon stood as testament to the timeless complexities of familial ties and the enduring power of cosmic forces beyond mortal comprehension.
"Why the long face, little brother?" Cosmos inquired, his voice carrying the weight of eons as he regarded Poseidon with a mixture of curiosity and concern. Cosmos gave a barely visible smirk. "Is it because I left? If so, don't be so petty."
A deep growl rumbled up from Poseidon's throat as he glared at the God of Space. "Do not speak to me as if you have done nothing wrong." His gaze shifted, his eyes narrowing into a piercing glare. "You abandoned us for centuries, leaving us to deal with the aftermath of the Titan War. We had to shoulder all the responsibility while you stayed secluded in your cosmos of selfish solitude. You have no right to speak condescendingly to me."
Cosmos sighed and walked to Poseidon. "Is my little winie brother angry?" The black haired male teased his brother.
Poseidon took a step back as Cosmos approached him, his glare shifting from annoyance to irritation.
"Enough of this nonsense!" He snapped, fists clenched tight. "You think you're so high and mighty with your cosmos and space and stars. But you're just a selfish hypocrite. You preach of responsibility yet you run away. You abandoned us and left us alone and we were left to deal with all the pain and anguish. You never once thought about us."
"Of course, I thought about you all my siblings. I practically raised all of you in father's stomach." Cosmos deadpanned.
Poseidon's eyes narrowed at the mention of their father Cronus. "Raised...? You mean when you were ordering us around like children? You think it was all in our best interest, but it wasn't. You were just being controlling. You were too arrogant to realize how your actions affected the rest of us. You didn't care."
Cosmos's expression remained impassive, a mask of divine detachment concealing the tumultuous emotions roiling beneath the surface. His gaze met Poseidon's unflinchingly, a silent acknowledgment of the truths that lingered between them like unspoken echoes of the past.
Poseidon's glare hardened, as if he could sense the turmoil beneath the God of Space's carefully constructed facade. He wasn't fooled for a second. Though they had never seen eye to eye on many things, Poseidon knew his older brother well enough to see through his act.
As Poseidon studied Cosmos's uncompromising expression, he felt a familiar ache of betrayal welling up inside of him. This was the same cold, detached behavior that he had dealt with for so long. It was clear to Poseidon that time had not changed his brother, and neither had Poseidon's resentment.
Cosmos broke out laughing. Hiding his indifference to the matter. "It's not like you weren't living life to the fullest when I was not here."
The sight of Cosmos laughing sparked more rage in Poseidon's eyes. He hated the way his older brother mocked his pain and dismissed his feelings without a second thought.
"I wasn't living life to the fullest. I was fighting for my life and for all of us. We had to carry a burden that we were never meant to shoulder," Poseidon roared. "While you ran away like a coward. And now you have the audacity to laugh in my face!"
"Poseidon." Cosmos' voice rang out leaving no room for response.
Poseidon blinked, startled by the sudden change in his older brother's demeanor. Cosmos's tone had shifted from mocking to serious, his expression now cold and unreadable.
The silence hung heavy in the air between them, thick with uneasiness and suspicion. Poseidon slowly lowered his gaze, his anger subsiding as he regarded Cosmos with wariness.
"How are the rest of our siblings? I came here because you were the closest to my previous location." Cosmos' voice went back to normal with that hint of indifference and no care about anything.
The intensity of the moment faded, and Poseidon let out a slow breath. "They're fine," he answered simply. "Demeter is still taking care of nature on Earth. Zeus is busy ruling Olympus and keeping the other gods in line. Hera, Hestia, and Hades are all well as far as I know."
However, amidst the fleeting tranquility, a subtle undercurrent of tension lingered, waiting to resurface at the slightest provocation. Poseidon's gaze darkened slightly as he shifted his weight, a silent indication of the unresolved emotions still simmering beneath the surface.
"Yet, even amidst their dutiful service, there are whispers of discontent," Poseidon interjected, his voice tinged with a hint of bitterness. "The burden of our father's legacy weighs heavily upon us all, Cosmos. And while they may appear steadfast in their roles, beneath the facade lies a seething undercurrent of unrest."
Cosmos's brow furrowed slightly, his expression reflective as he contemplated Poseidon's words. "It is true that the weight of our heritage is a heavy burden to bear," he acknowledged solemnly. "But it is our duty as gods to rise above our grievances and uphold the divine order, no matter the cost."
Poseidon's gaze hardened, a glimmer of defiance flickering in the depths of his stormy eyes. "Perhaps," he conceded begrudgingly. "But not all of us are content to be mere pawns in the cosmic game, Cosmos. Some of us seek to forge our own destinies, to carve out our own path amidst the chaos."
The tension in the air thickened, a palpable reminder of the divergent paths that lay before them as gods bound by blood and destiny. In the boundless expanse of the divine realm, the fragile equilibrium of power hung in the balance, teetering on the precipice of uncertainty as the echoes of their conversation reverberated through the cosmos.
The two divine figures stood in silence, their minds locked in a silent conversation. A palpable tension filled the air, as if the cosmos itself held its breath in anticipation of what would come next. It was a moment of profound intensity, charged with a potent blend of emotions ranging from defiance to resignation, and everything in between.
"Our duty as gods is to protect humanity," Poseidon said, his voice firm yet laced with an unmistakable undertone of sadness. "We must do what needs to be done, even if it means sacrificing our own desires. That is our divine mission, our reason for existence."
"Very well."
Poseidon shifted his weight ever so slightly as he stared at his older brother. As the tension between them settled, a hint of weariness began to set in. A few moments of silence stretched out in between them, as if neither god was quite sure what to say next. Poseidon's gaze shifted from the face of the God of Space and out into the vastness of the cosmos, his mind filled with a mix of thoughts and feelings as the reality of their situation began to set in.
Cosmos gazed into the vast cosmic distance. "I will be going back to seclusion."
Poseidon's eyes narrowed. "So that's all you came here for? Just to inform me that you're going back to your selfish ways of hiding away and ignoring the rest of us?"
Cosmos smiled.
Poseidon frowned as he noticed his brother's subtle smile. It was clear that the God of Space was not taking him seriously. A surge of anger flared within Poseidon's chest as he realized how little his words had meant to Cosmos.
"You aren't taking my concerns seriously," he growled. "You've always been this way. Do you even care about what happens to the rest of us anymore?"
"Have you gotten stronger Poseidon? When I left you were still weaker." Cosmos inquired with a serious tone.
Poseidon was surprised by how quickly Cosmos's tone shifted. It went from playful mockery to something more serious.
"Yes," he answered confidently. "I have gotten much stronger. I have surpassed you now, though I doubt you would acknowledge that."
Cosmos broke out laughing hysterically. "Brother. Surpassing me while still in confinement is impossible." Cosmos said, the last sentence definitely having way too much mystery
"Is that so?" Poseidon said, not amused by his older brother's laughter. He looked over at Cosmos and saw a hint of arrogance in his eyes. "Well, you would be surprised at how much I have improved. And I am sure I can beat you now if we were to fight."
"Beat me?" Cosmos' voice is heard behind Poseidon. And when Poseidon looks behind, there stands the God Of Space. "You didn't even see me move. You think you can beat me?" Cosmos smirked.
"Wh-Where-?" Poseidon's thoughts scattered as he looked from side to side, trying to figure out how his older brother had suddenly appeared behind him.
"How- How did you-" The sudden move caught Poseidon completely off-guard. It was so fast that he hadn't even registered the God of Space taking a single step. Yet, there he was standing right in front of Poseidon with a cheeky smirk.
Cosmos' face got serious as he turns away from Poseidon and mutters to himself. "They are still too weak. They aren't ready yet."
"Ready for what?" The sudden shift in the tone of the conversation caught Poseidon off-guard. His heart started beating against his chest, for the first time feeling the presence of fear and uncertainty. "What are you talking about?"
"Nothing. Little brother."
"Tell me," Poseidon asked in a stern voice. He couldn't help but feel his stomach drop with each passing moment, like he was on the verge of discovering some dark secret. Something about the God of Space's demeanor set off alarm bells inside his head, and it was impossible to ignore the unsettling feeling in the air.
"It's nothing Poseidon." Cosmos's tone got deeper and sent a chill down Poseidon.
Poseidon tightened his grip on his trident. The unsettling feeling only grew stronger with the way his older brother was speaking. It was clear that this was no joke.
"It's not nothing," he growled. "You're hiding some secret from me. Something important."
Cosmos's face darkened and he spoke quitely this but the intent couldn't be hidden. "Poseidon"
"Yes?" Poseidon replied with a sharp edge in his voice. He felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, his nerves tingling with a prickling sensation of danger. The way Cosmos's voice lowered sent chills down his spine. It was like he was hearing the words of the God of Space under a different light, as if he was discovering some kind of sinister and twisted secret.
"I will tell you another time."
"Now!" Poseidon demanded forcefully. It was as if some unknown force was taking control of his body. Normally, he didn't speak to his older brother in such a demanding tone, but these were no normal circumstances. There was a sense of desperation and urgency lurking in his voice, like time was running out and he would be left in the dark forever if he didn't force his older brother's hand.
"You know I don't like repeating myself." Poseidon found himself not being able to breathe, which was strange as he doesn't need to breath at all. But here he was suffocating. When he looked down, he finds himself in the hands of Cosmos.
"Let me go!" Poseidon demanded fiercely. His rage flared and his eyes shot daggers as he stared at his older brother's grip around him. Yet, despite his attempts to break free from his older brother's grasp, it was as if he had no power at all. The sudden suffocation made him feel powerless and helpless, as if his very existence was at the mercy of his older brother.
"You are not ready. I will tell you when it is time." Cosmos's tone was stern. "Please brother concede." His voice got softer as if he was getting tired of arguing.
"I will **not** concede!" Poseidon yelled, his body still struggling against the hold of his older brother's grip. But as hard as he tried, he could not break free from the overwhelming power of the God of Space. This was the first time he had ever felt this powerless before, as if he was at the mercy of a cruel and unforgiving universe. A growing sensation of panic began to set in as his breathing became more labored and his vision began to narrow.
Cosmos clenched his hand a little and Poseidon lost consciousness.
As his vision blurred and darkened, a sense of hopelessness washed over Poseidon. He tried to fight it with every inch of his being, his thoughts clouded in a fog of uncertainty and desperation. It was as if he was being taken away into the darkness, with no control over his fate. A sudden wave of exhaustion rushed through him and his body gave in to the weakness, as consciousness was slowly robbed from his grasp. He could not fight it any longer. The fight had finally been taken away from him.

A sudden wave of exhaustion rushed through him and his body gave in to the weakness, as consciousness was slowly robbed from his grasp. He could not fight it any longer. The fight had finally been taken away from him.
Cosmos stood above Poseidon's body and looked at him. "I cannot allow you to know now. Not yet at least. About the reason I went to seclusion."
Poseidon's body lay there lifelessly, his breath stilled. Yet, his mind continued to linger in a state of half-consciousness, a subtle thread of awareness connecting his thoughts to his physical form. Cosmos's ominous words left a lingering feeling of fear and uncertainty. What secret was the God of Space hiding from him? Did the reason behind his seclusion hold the answer to the fate of the cosmos?
As Poseidon remained in limbo, a sense of helplessness began to wash over him. He could do nothing but await the day when Cosmos deemed him "ready" enough to know the truth.
Cosmos turned around and waved his hand. As a Wormhole appeared in front of him.
Cosmos turned around with a graceful fluidity, his robes billowing around him like the ebb and flow of celestial tides. With a simple wave of his hand, the fabric of space itself seemed to ripple and warp, giving birth to a shimmering vortex of iridescent light. Before him materialized a wormhole, its swirling depths a mesmerizing tapestry of colors that defied mortal comprehension.
Cosmos entered the portal and stepped out of the other side. He opened his eyes and gazed at the beautiful galaxies and nebulae around him. He sat down in Space even though there was nothing to sit down on.
It was as if the endless expanse of cosmos was alive, moving and breathing around him like a giant living organism. Every speck of space, every galaxy, and every nebula held its own unique beauty, forming a tapestry of vivid colors across the darkness of space. The silence of the universe was deafening, but there was a sense of peaceful serenity to it. The distant glimmer of distant stars gave off bright sparks of light in the distance, making the night sky seem a thousand times more vast and magnificent.
"You are losing your power bastard God." A voice rang out in the vast expanse. Cosmos ignored the voice as if used to it. The voice talked again. "I will finally be free of this prison you made for me."
Cosmos's face started to get annoyed. "My fellow gods will stop you. My siblings will stop your destruction."
The words of this ominous voice carried an ominous undercurrent of malice and hatred. Yet, Cosmos showed no sign of weakness or fear. Instead, he continued to ignore the voice, his focus rooted firmly on the vast expanse of the cosmos and the beauty of its intricate depths.
"The other gods can't stop me." The ominous voice said with a hint of arrogance. "My powers have grown limitless. I have nothing left to fear."
Cosmos opened his eyes and stood up then looked at a close galaxy. "I have to sacrifice these beautiful galaxies to reinforce the seal." Cosmos muttered to himself. His hands glowed as he muttered. "I the ruler of all cosmic. Commands the seal of Cosmos to be reinforced. Multi Cosmic Seal" The nearby galaxy that Cosmos was looking at started disappearing.
As Cosmos spoke, a sudden shiver ran through the fabric of the cosmos itself, as if the entire universe was shuddering in response to his words. Space itself began to warp and ripple, as if the fabric of reality was being torn apart. The nearby galaxy began to vanish in front of Cosmos's eyes, its light fading and darkness creeping in. Within the span of a few moments, the galaxy was completely gone, consumed into the boundless void of space.
Cosmos turned his gaze to the large chains that were surrounding one of the galaxies. And directed the power power to the chains. The places that were starting to erode on the chains started being repaired. Cosmos stared at the chains. "This reinforced seal will not last long." Cosmos muttered to himself.
The voice cursed Cosmos mocking him that the seal will not last.
Cosmos did not respond to the mocking words of the voice, his focus locked on the sealing chains. The power he was directing towards the chains was like a gentle soothing hand, repairing the places where the chain was starting to erode. Yet, even as the repairs were made, Cosmos sensed a hint of foreboding and knew that the voice was right. The reinforced seal would not last for long.
"These chains will buy me the time I need to get everything ready for you defeat." Cosmos shouted out at the voice as it started to disappear.
"The chains will not hold me for long." The mocking echo of the voice slowly faded away into the void. The chains continued to get reinforced, but the repairs took a toll on Cosmos. It was clear that his power was finite, and the more he channeled it to maintain the seal, the weaker he would become. Yet, even with the foreboding feeling that hung in the air, he continued his task with determination and resolve.
Cosmos closed his eyes entering his memories of how it all started.
In the aftermath of the devastating war with the Titans, Cosmos, the God of Space, found himself attuned to the intricacies of his divine essence like never before. Amidst the celestial expanse, a foreboding sense of impending Doom began to permeate the fabric of reality, as if the very cosmos itself shuddered in anticipation of an encroaching malevolence.Sensing the approach of a powerful and malevolent entity, Cosmos knew that the burden of facing this threat fell squarely upon his shoulders. With a heavy heart, he made the difficult decision to distance himself from his younger siblings, not wanting to burden them with the weight of yet another cosmic conflict after their arduous battle with their father, Cronus. Offering a vague excuse of needing seclusion to further attune himself to his divine nature, Cosmos left his siblings behind, knowing full well that his actions would likely incite resentment and anger among them. Yet, he could not bear to see them endure the pain and suffering that awaited should they become entangled in the looming confrontation. For millennia, Cosmos engaged in a relentless struggle against the entity known as Lucifero, the Demon of Evil, whose malevolent presence threatened to unravel the very fabric of existence. Across the boundless expanse of space, they clashed in an epic battle of cosmic proportions, their powers colliding in a dazzling display of celestial might. As the eons stretched on, Cosmos's resolve remained unyielding, his determination Fueled by the knowledge that the fate of all creation hung in the balance. And so, with the weight of countless ages upon his shoulders, he made the ultimate sacrifice, channeling the entirety of his divine essence to seal Lucifero within the depths of the cosmos, imprisoning the malevolent entity for eternity.
"I alone, am not enough." Cosmos solemnly admitted to himself. "But, I do not want to involve my siblings in this. Alas I have no other choice."
The thought of involving his siblings in such an arduous war made his heart heavy. Yet, despite his desire to shield his siblings from the danger and devastation that awaited, Cosmos knew that the threat was too great to be faced alone. And so, with a heavy heart, he began to channel more of his power to reinforce the seal on Lucifero's imprisonment. The heavy burden of responsibility that hung over him was weighing on his shoulders, but he had to remain strong and make the hard decisions.
After weeks of relentless effort spent reinforcing the cosmic chains that bound Lucifero, Cosmos finally succumbed to exhaustion, his body collapsing to the ground in a weary heap. His breaths came ragged and labored, the weight of his divine responsibilities pressing down upon him like an oppressive force.Yet, even in the throes of exhaustion, Cosmos's resolve remained unshaken. With a determined grit, he pushed himself upright, his muscles protesting with every movement as he forced himself to stand once more. The memory of Lucifero's looming threat loomed large in his mind, a chilling reminder of the danger that still lurked beyond the confines of his celestial prison."I need them," Cosmos muttered to himself, his voice a hoarse whisper barely audible above the cosmic hum of the universe. "Forgive your stupid brother for involving you."Summoning the last reserves of his waning strength, Cosmos raised his hands skyward, the celestial energy within him crackling and surging with renewed vigor. With a resounding cry that echoed across the vast expanse of space, he invoked the ancient incantation of Cosmic Teleportation.
In a dazzling display of cosmic power, six silhouettes materialized before him, their forms bathed in the radiant glow of his divine magic.
Cosmos felt himself being punched by someone. "Poseidon. Hey..." Cosmos smiled awkwardly. After all before leaving he knocked Poseidon out, so he can't blame him for the punch.
Then Cosmos turned to the other as they looked at him with shock and most of all anger. Cosmos greeted them while holding himself up. "Hello, nice to see you again. Zeus, Hades, Hestia, Hera and Demeter."
As the silhouettes of the Six Gods of Olympus appeared before him, the mood of the surrounding space seemed to change. The distant sparkle of the stars and the gentle humming of the cosmos gave way to a powerful and imposing presence, the air heavy with the tension of a gathering storm. The Six Gods of Olympus stood before Cosmos with a mixture of anger and confusion plastered on their faces, their eyes locked on him with a fierce glare. It was clear that they had many questions for him and that they were not going to be happy with the answers he had to give.
"It's a long story." Cosmos sighed.
"We have time." A female voice rang out in the vast expanse. Her autumn brown hair flowing as the nature she governs. Demeter stared at Cosmos waiting for his answer.
"After leaving us for so long, do you think you have the right to teleport me? I'm not as free as you think Cosmos. I have dead creatures to judge." Hades's cool and deep voice followed.
Although it was unlike him, Zeus was quite and observing the surroundings.
Cosmos stared at his siblings. "I know you all hate me but allow me to explain. And everything will make sense. I don't except any forgiveness from you, but I do need your assistance."
"What could you possibly want from us?" Zeus's intense stare seemed to pierce right through his soul. Hades remained silent, his dark eyes peering into Cosmos's own. Hestia's gentle demeanour hid a fiery temper, and Hera's eyes burned with a simmering rage.
"When I left saying I was going into a self-imposed seclusion. That was a lie."
"A lie?" Zeus's eyes narrowed. His tone seemed to harden with every word. "Then where did you go?"
Cosmos pointed his finger to the chained galaxy. The other gods stared in shock.
Zeus's face twisted into a scolding expression as he realized the gravity of the situation. His anger gave way to a mixture of concern and apprehension, an unfamiliar sense of unease washing over him. His lips tightened in a grim line as he saw that the chains barely had any power left to keep the ancient enemy sealed away.
"Hades. As the God Of Death. I'm sure you can sense the overwhelming malevolent intent inside."
Hades nodded, his eyes flickering with a mix of emotions. He could easily feel the evil presence that oozed through the fabric of reality. The chains that held this destructive entity in place were barely hanging on, their energy weakening with every passing moment. It was as if the very cosmos itself was being unraveled by the presence of this malevolent entity. He knew that it was not long before the seal would break and the ancient enemy would be released from its bondage.
"That is Lucifero, The Demon Of Evil. This very place we are standing on, is where I fought him for a millennia. I didn't want you all to fight another fight after we just dealt with our father." Cosmos solemnly looked at them. "Like I said before, I don't expect your forgiven-"
"No." Zeus's voice rose above the rest. As the leader of the pack he was the first to respond. "It is our nature as Gods to protect the cosmos, and we will fight this enemy, no matter the cost, no matter what is at stake. But...we have questions. What do you mean you fought him for a millennium? What does he want?"
"What every villain want" Cosmos rolled his eyes. "The Multiverse, youngest brother."
"The Multiverse." Zeus's eyebrows raised in surprise. "He wants to destroy the Multiverse? And you were able to hold him back for a millennium? That is why you had to seal him? To protect all that is and will come to be?"
"Yes. And now I need your help to seal him. Destroying him is impossible. And I've finally found out why. The Demon Of Evil, Lucifero. Has existed, is existing and will exist at the beginning of all. Only the Primordial Deities can destroy him."
Zeus was stunned at the revelation. It was as if the very fabric of reality itself had just been torn apart. This new information sent a wave of shock coursing through his body. Lucifero not only represented an existential threat to this universe but to all universes. His existence transcended time and space itself. It made sense now why the only way to defeat him was through the power of Creation itself.
"I don't need all of you to seal him. Only Hades, Zeus and Poseidon. I brought Hera, Hestia and Demeter here so that they know everything." Cosmos stated.
Zeus's eyes narrowed once more. "And what makes you so sure that we stand any chance at all? If you, the God of Space, have been fighting him for a millennium with no progress to show for it, then what difference will we make?"
"We have to ascend. And be Demi-Primordials. And that will be hard."
"Ascend?" Zeus shook his head in disbelief. "Is your plan for us to somehow surpass the power of the Primordial Deity's themselves? How in the world do you expect to do that?"
"You will know in a moment." Cosmos said.
"And how do you plan to go about accomplishing such an impossible feat? As the God of Space you must know that the process of becoming a Demi-Primordial is not something that can be done at the snap of a finger. It's not something that we can just 'make happen', even if the fate of the entire cosmos rests on it."
"While maintaining the seal, I did not stay idle. I found a way for the four of us to ascend. We will have to give up being gods."
"Give up our divinity? Give up our status as Gods of Olympus?" Zeus's voice was full of scorn and disbelief. "You want us to give up the very essence of what we have always been, give up the power and position that defines us? To gain what? The power to fight this enemy?"
"You are angry, I get that." Cosmos's voice was low. "But I am still the oldest here! Zeus."
Zeus's eyes narrowed as he looked down at Cosmos, his expression growing colder by the minute. "Do not presume to try and speak to me like you are my elder! You may be the oldest of us brothers, but I am still the King of Olympus!"
"You boast of being a King. A weak King of all things." Cosmos appeared behind Zeus and grabbed him by the neck.
"Weak?! How dare you!" Zeus barked, his fists clenched tightly and his eyes burning with rage. He attempted to throw Cosmos off of him, but the God of Space was not so easily discarded. Zeus's face twisted into a grimace of pain as his brother's grip tightened around his neck.
Cosmos tossed Zeus aside. "We will be doing this. Right Hades, Poseidon?" Cosmos gave of a threatening smile while making sure they see what happened to Zeus when he refused.
"I am not an idiot." Hades answered, his eyes flickering with an ominous gleam. He stood alongside Poseidon, his black robes billowing in the cosmic wind. The two of them stood defiant against the God of Space, their eyes bearing a dangerous look as they stared deep into the dark depths of Cosmos's soul. "We know that there is more at risk here than just our titles. Even if we must sacrifice our identities to fight this enemy, then so be it."
"Good. Our youngest was just being a brat like old times."
Before Zeus could respond, Poseidon and Hades nodded in agreement. The two of them were willing to forsake their titles and powers as Gods of Olympus if it meant having a chance at defeating the Demon of Evil. Zeus was the one who would not be easily convinced. He glared back at Cosmos with a defiant scowl, his fists clenched tightly at his side. "What are you going to do if I refuse? Kill me?"
"No. But I'm sure you remember this." Cosmos raised his fist with a melancholy look.
"Do I recall the time you knocked me unconscious to leave us behind while you went into 'seclusion' for a thousand years?" Zeus's voice dripped with snark and bitterness as he spoke.
"So you remember, good." Cosmos then turned to the the others. "But in all seriousness. We have about 25 years before the seal erodes."
25 years...a small window of time to ascend to the status of Demi-Primordials and seal Lucifero away once more. But 25 years is not a lot of time at all. Zeus knew this all too well. His brow was now creased with concern. He seemed to be thinking deeply about something.
"Don't think much Zeus. After bugging him for a very long time. Lord Chronos built a room of slowed time for our ascent."
"An Ascended Room of Slowed Time?" Zeus stared intently at Cosmos. "And this room, it will give us enough time to complete our ascension, to acquire the full power of a Demi-Primordial?"
"Yes. And about how I convinced him. Don't ask." Cosmos looked away. "Hades, Poseidon and Zeus. Get ready for its time to ascend."
"Ready? You make it sound as if it will be an easy process." Zeus scowled. "What will we have to go through during the ascension? This is not some trifling matter."
Cosmos nervously laughed. "Pain. That's all I can say."
"Pain? You mean-" Zeus's eyes widened in shock. "You mean it will be agonizing? As in we will be in torment?"
"Startiiiiiing now!" The surroundings started to darken as the visible galaxies lost their memorizing lights. And Poseidon first cried out in pain. Then Zeus, Hades was still holding himself back from crying. And Cosmos, his face was plain as of he wasn't alive at all.
The transformation was immediate and relentless. The surrounding environment darkened and dimmed, and a sickening wave of pain engulfed them all. Zeus, Hades and Poseidon had started crying out in pain, their skin and bodies twisting and shifting. Their eyes widened in shock and agony as their physical attributes morphed and reformed. Even Cosmos took a sharp intake of breath as the divine transformation took a mental and physical toll on him. The very laws of nature were being rewritten as they were ascended into something new.
After countless years filled with the echoes of cries and screams that reverberated through the cosmic expanse, a profound stillness descended upon the celestial realm. In a moment that seemed to defy the very fabric of time itself, the four gods ceased their tumultuous outpouring of anguish and despair, their voices falling silent in unison.
The cosmic symphony of wails and laments that had once filled the void of space with its haunting melody now faded into a hushed silence, leaving behind an eerie tranquility that hung heavy in the air. The echoes of their collective suffering lingered like wisps of smoke, dissipating into the cosmic ether as if they had never existed at all.
For the first time in eons, the celestial realm was cloaked in a profound stillness, broken only by the soft rustle of cosmic winds and the gentle hum of distant stars. The gods stood motionless, their expressions a tableau of silent contemplation as they grappled with the weight of their shared burden.
In this moment of eerie calm, the universe held its breath, as if waiting with bated anticipation for the next chapter in the unfolding saga of cosmic destiny. And amidst the timeless expanse of the celestial tapestry, the four gods stood as silent sentinels, their souls intertwined in a symphony of sorrow and resilience that transcended the boundaries of mortal comprehension.
In that timeless instant, the four gods stood as the embodiment of power and strength. Their bodies had been changed and altered to a higher state of being, the pain and anguish of their ascension now a distant memory. Though the gods had transformed into Demi-Primordials, their mortal memories remained in tact, imprinted in their souls as the final remnants of their previous lives as gods of Olympus.
Now, the four gods stood as the guardians of the very fabric of existence, sworn to protect the cosmos from an ancient evil that threatened to tear the very foundations of the universe asunder.
Cosmos's voice, tinged with a blend of frustration and resignation, cut through the solemn stillness that enveloped the celestial realm. His words echoed with a sense of bitter irony as he reflected on the aftermath of their collective suffering."Fucking Demi-Primordial," he muttered under his breath, his tone heavy with disdain for the entity that had subjected them to such torment. "All that pain gave me was some increased power and being nigh-omniscient."
"Does the increased power at least feel satisfying?" Hades asked, his tone a mix between exhaustion and bitterness. His facial features had been changed slightly, his dark hair now slicked back and his eyes becoming a deep crimson red. "I would say that the pain seems worth it if you gained something that could help us fight this evil we speak of. I got increased power and the ability to kill anything. Living or non-living. But it doesn't work on those powerful than me. This ability doesn't leave a wound but all it does is kill."
"That's just unfair." Cosmos sighed. "Poseidon, Zeus. What did you get?"
"I gained the ability to manipulate Cosmic Lightning." Zeus shrugged. "I mean, I knew that I would gain some power, but not this much power."
"I'm still trying to figure it out," Poseidon sighed. "Right now, I've discovered that I can control anything water-related. I had already been able to control the seas, storms and even hurricanes, but now my powers are not limited to just that. I can control fluids like water, blood, even sweat."
"Righhhtt. I should have mentioned this but. We have a week before Lucifero is unsealed."
"A Week?" Zeus's eyes widened in shock. "But that is not long enough! We still have no idea what powers we even have! Let alone had time to master them. How are we supposed to seal this enemy when we can't even learn our new abilities in time?"
"The room." Cosmos deadpanned.
"The room?" Zeus was confused. "What about it? Are you saying that time doesn't flow inside this Ascended Room? Can we use it to practice our powers?" His curiosity was evident in his voice.
"Yes."
"So it's kind of like a playground where we can practice our newly gained abilities?" Zeus was delighted. "Then we certainly should waste no time and enter the room as soon as possible."
"Of course." Cosmos agreed.
Two weeks passed and in a realm beyond Time and Space, where the laws of reality held no sway and the cosmic dance of existence unfolded in ways incomprehensible to mortal minds. In this ethereal plane, five figures materialized amidst the swirling mists of primordial chaos, their forms bathed in the radiant glow of cosmic energies.
With a resounding clash that reverberated through the boundless expanse of the dimensionless void, the figures engaged in a frenzied battle that transcended the confines of mortal comprehension. Their movements were a blur of celestial light and cosmic fury, as they exchanged blows with a ferocity born of ancient enmities and timeless rivalries.
As the confrontation escalated, one of the figures was thrown backward, his form careening through the astral ether before coming to a crashing halt amidst the shimmering mists. It was Cosmos, his expression twisted in a mixture of frustration and determination as he picked himself up from the cosmic abyss.
"Dammit," Cosmos growled, his voice echoing through the ethereal void. "This bastard wasn't as strong when I fought him that time."
With a sense of urgency burning in his eyes, Cosmos called out to his fellow combatants, his voice cutting through the cosmic tumult like a clarion call. "Zeus! 12 o'clock!" he shouted, his words a rallying cry amidst the chaos of battle.
With a decisive nod, Cosmos propelled himself forward with unparalleled speed, hurtling toward the largest figure amidst the cosmic melee. "Lucifero!" he roared, his voice reverberating with the echoes of countless ages and the weight of cosmic destiny.
In a dazzling display of cosmic might, Cosmos clashed with Lucifero, their energies colliding in a cataclysmic explosion that illuminated the infinite expanse of the timeless void. And amidst the cosmic chaos that unfolded, the fate of the universe hung in the balance, as gods and demons waged their eternal struggle for supremacy amidst the boundless expanse of existence.
Their battle was one of unimaginable power and spectacle, as their cosmic energies clashed and collided with the force of a thousand supernovas, filling the timeless expanse with the radiant glow of primordial light. For ages, they exchanged devastating blows in an endless contest of cosmic might, their powers and abilities clashing in a dazzling display of cosmic fury.
All were equally matched, each wielding an equally devastating array of abilities. The outcome of the battle was still uncertain, as the cosmic clash continued unabated as gods and demons clashed across the boundless expanse of existence.
Cosmos, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon all jumped back and floated in the Void. "He gained a lot of power. He wasn't this strong when I fought him." Cosmos gritted his teeth as he looked at the towering Lucifero. "Hell, he wasn't even that big."
"He must have used some kind of power-up." Zeus suggested in between gasping breaths, as his eyes widened in shock. "Maybe a transformation of some sort."
"Or it could simply be his power, which has grown with time while you were in your seclusion." Hades pointed out.
"Either way, he's got a shitload of new tricks and is even stronger than before. What the hell are we going to do about it?" Poseidon chimed in, his gaze fixed on Lucifero.
As Lucifero's tentacle lashed out towards the four figures, Cosmos sprang into action, positioning himself protectively in front of his comrades. With a swift motion, he summoned forth his divine power, channeling the raw essence of cosmic energy into a towering bow of radiant light that materialized in his hands.
With a resounding cry that echoed through the astral plane, Cosmos unleashed the full force of his celestial might, drawing back the ethereal string of his bow with a steady hand. "Cosmic Arrow!" he declared, his voice a thunderous command that resonated with the power of creation itself.
In an instant, the bow released its cosmic arrow, a blazing projectile of pure energy that streaked through the void with unparalleled speed and precision. The arrow blazed a trail of incandescent light as it soared towards Lucifero's tentacle, its trajectory guided by Cosmos's unwavering aim.
With a deafening explosion of cosmic force, the arrow struck true, piercing through Lucifero's tentacle with a force that shook the very foundations of the astral realm. The malevolent appendage recoiled in agony, writhing and thrashing as tendrils of cosmic energy coursed through its form.
As the dust settled and the echoes of battle subsided, Cosmos stood triumphant amidst the cosmic aftermath, his bow dissipating into ephemeral sparks of light. With a solemn nod to his companions, he turned his gaze once more towards Lucifero, steeling himself for the trials that lay ahead in their timeless struggle against the forces of darkness and chaos.
The strike had given them some breathing room, but the battle was far from over. Zeus's eyes narrowed as he watched Lucifero's wounded tendrils recoil and flail about in agony. His gaze was intense and focused, his mind full of determination and resolve.
"Lucifero may be more powerful than before, but he is still just a demon." Zeus growled. "We are gods, Demi-Primordials at that. We must use our enhanced power to its full potential and put an end to his reign of evil once and for all."
"We have been fighting him for a full week," Cosmos lamented, his voice heavy with exhaustion and frustration. The toll of their relentless battle weighed heavily upon him, evident in the weariness etched into his timeless features."The seal broke the moment we exited the room," he continued, his tone tinged with resignation. The fleeting sense of victory they had experienced within the confines of their celestial prison had been short-lived, shattered by the relentless onslaught of Lucifero's malevolent power."We didn't even have time to rest," Cosmos sighed, the weight of their ceaseless struggle bearing down upon him like a cosmic burden. Despite their best efforts, it seemed that the forces arrayed against them were inexorable, their strength and resolve tested to their limits in the crucible of battle. As he stood amidst the ruins of their shattered defenses, Cosmos couldn't help but wonder if their efforts were in vain. The unyielding might of Lucifero seemed insurmountable, a looming shadow that threatened to engulf them in its all-consuming darkness.
"The odds are stacked against us." Hades said, the dark god looking down at the ground as his eyes were fixed on the broken ruins of their defences. His expression was one of intense thought, as his mind worked furiously to come up with some way to turn the battle in their favour.
"We have come this far, we cannot let it end like this." Poseidon growled, his eyes narrowing in determination. "This is more than just a battle now, this is a fight for the very survival of the cosmos. We cannot afford to lose."
"We may be fighting in a realm beyond Time and Space," Cosmos acknowledged with a heavy heart, "but this battle has far-reaching consequences that extend beyond the confines of our own universe. Many universes have perished at the hands of Lucifero's relentless onslaught, their cosmic tapestries unraveling in the wake of his malevolent power."
As he spoke, a weariness settled over Cosmos, a weariness that transcended the physical toll of their ceaseless battle. "We are also getting exhausted quicker," he admitted, his voice tinged with resignation. "Because we are creating our abilities from scratch in this realm. There is no Space to be controlled here, so I have to create it myself, which is exhausting in its own right."
He glanced to his fellow gods, his gaze encompassing the weary figures that stood alongside him. "There is no liquid or lightning to be controlled by Poseidon or Zeus," he continued, his words carrying the weight of their shared struggle. "And death itself holds no sway beyond Time and Space. So we all have to create these elements the moment we use them, which demands an immense amount of focus and concentration."
Cosmos sighed heavily, the weight of their cosmic responsibilities bearing down upon him like a suffocating burden. Despite their formidable powers, even the gods themselves were not immune to the toll exacted by their battle against the forces of darkness. And as they stood united in their struggle, they knew that the fate of the multiverse hung in the balance, teetering on the brink of annihilation in the face of an adversary that seemed all but unstoppable.
"Yet, somehow, we have persevered and managed to keep Lucifero at bay." Zeus growled, his tone reflective of the exhaustion and desperation they were feeling. "There must be a way to defeat him. We are Demi-Primordials. Our power is unfathomable."
"We cannot falter now." Hades murmured, his tone a solemn reminder of their cosmic responsibilities. "We must press on. This battle is for the sake of not only the cosmos, but all existence.".
"Our side quest is done," Cosmos announced with a sense of finality, his voice carrying the weight of their shared triumph. "The Seal of Creation is complete, and our preparations are in place. Now, all that remains is to confront Lucifero directly."
As he spoke, a solemn resolve settled over Cosmos, his gaze meeting the eyes of his fellow gods with unwavering determination. "All we have to do is get closer to him," he continued, his tone tinged with a sense of urgency. "Which is a task that will require every ounce of strength and skill that we possess."
He paused for a moment, allowing the weight of his words to sink in. "But I have faith in each and every one of you," Cosmos declared, his voice filled with unwavering confidence. "Together, we will overcome this challenge and emerge victorious against the forces of darkness that threaten to engulf us."
With a shared nod of understanding, the gods stood as one, their resolve unshakable as they prepared to embark on the final leg of their perilous journey. And amidst the cosmic expanse of the timeless void, they knew that their destiny awaited, bound together by the unbreakable bonds of divine kinship and the indomitable spirit of the cosmos itself.
"We must be prepared for anything and everything." Zeus murmured, his expression determined. "The fate of all existence is depending on our victory."
"We must not let our emotions cloud our judgement." Hades said, his gaze unwavering as it scanned the expanse of the timeless void.
"Every single action will matter, we cannot afford any error." Poseidon nodded in agreement, his tone full of a grim resolve. "We must be at the top of our game."
"Let's go" Cosmos ran on the groundless realm. And a bunch on tentacles came rushing to him. Throwing a bunch a abilities at him. "Cosmic Aegis Guard" A shield appeared in front of Cosmos and Zeus, Hades and Poseidon.
"We can't be caught off guard!" Zeus exclaimed, as Poseidon and Hades both nodded their agreement.
The trio of brothers followed him and each unleashed their divine abilities, working together to strike at the tentacles before they could even touch them. With coordinated strikes from Poseidon's trident and Hades' scythe, they cut down the tentacles and blasted them away with Zeus's bolt of lightning.
As Cosmos and his fellow gods surged forward, closing the distance between themselves and Lucifero with determined resolve, a sense of anticipation hung heavy in the air. Their movements were swift and coordinated, a testament to their shared determination to confront the malevolent entity head-on.
With a triumphant smile spread across his timeless visage, Cosmos called out to his companions with unwavering confidence. "Get ready, it's time!" he exclaimed, his voice ringing out with a clarity that cut through the cosmic tumult. "Follow after me!"
In a display of synchronized unity, Cosmos led the charge, soaring gracefully through the astral expanse just above Lucifero's towering form. The other three gods followed suit, their movements mirroring Cosmos's with seamless precision as they closed in on their adversary.
As they reached their target, Cosmos's voice rose above the cacophony of battle, his words imbued with the ancient power of creation itself. "Seal Of Creation: Resonance Equilibrium!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the cosmic void with a resounding clarity.
In unison, the other three gods joined their voices with Cosmos's, their words resonating with the harmonious frequency of divine power. "Seal of Creation: Resonance Equilibrium!" they chanted, their voices blending together in a symphony of cosmic energy that enveloped Lucifero in a shimmering veil of divine light.
As the Seal of Creation took hold, a palpable sense of equilibrium settled over the timeless void, balancing the cosmic forces at play and stemming the tide of darkness that threatened to engulf them all. And amidst the celestial symphony of creation, Cosmos and his fellow gods stood united, their spirits intertwined in a testament to the enduring power of divine kinship and the indomitable spirit of the cosmos itself.
For the first time, the forces of darkness and chaos have been halted in their destructive march and the cosmos has the chance to heal itself. With a sigh of relief, Poseidon's eyes closed for a moment, as if taking in a deep breath of cosmic power.
"It's finally over." He murmured, his sigh full of a deep sense of fatigue and relief. "This battle was tough, but we got through it. Now we can finally rest."
"Yes, and this time, we can all rest together as family." Hades agreed with a smile, his dark eyes bright with a sense of pride.
As Cosmos approached his siblings, a bittersweet smile graced his timeless features, his eyes reflecting a depth of emotion that transcended mortal understanding. With each step, his form flickered and wavered, the cosmic energies that bound him to the Seal of Creation beginning to unravel.
"Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon," Cosmos addressed them, his voice a gentle whisper that carried the weight of countless ages. "I, as your oldest sibling, am most proud of you. Listen to me now, for these may be my final words. Take good care of your families."
His words were infused with a quiet wisdom, a solemn reminder of the responsibilities that awaited his brothers in the wake of his sacrifice. "Zeus," he continued, his voice tinged with empathy, "you harbor a deep-seated resentment towards our father. Do not allow that bitterness to consume you. Learn from his mistakes and strive to be better."
Turning his gaze to Hades, Cosmos's expression softened with a sense of paternal concern. "Hades, my brother," he said gently, "you must cherish Persephone with all your heart. Show her the love and respect she deserves, and let your union be a testament to the enduring power of love amidst the shadows."
Lastly, he addressed Poseidon, his voice tinged with a hint of regret. "Poseidon, my dear brother," he murmured, "do not forsake Amethyst, for she is your true wife and your soulmate. Do not allow the weight of your responsibilities to overshadow the love that binds you together."
As he spoke, Cosmos's body began to break down, his form dissolving into streams of shimmering light that danced and swirled around him. "The Seal of Creation is not just any Seal," he explained, his voice fading into the cosmic ether. "For it to exist, a Demi-Primordial must be sacrificed. And I have taken upon myself that burden."
With a final, wistful glance at his siblings, Cosmos's essence dissolved completely, merging with the cosmic energies of the Seal of Creation and becoming one with the very fabric of the universe itself. And amidst the cosmic silence that followed, his sacrifice stood as a testament to the boundless depths of love and sacrifice that transcended the boundaries of time and space.
As he watched his oldest sibling fade into the cosmic ether, Poseidon's eyes grew dim with a deep sense of melancholy and regret. Despite their differences, the two brothers had always been close and now, all he would have left of his eldest kin would be the stories and memories to be shared with his children, whom he had been too detached from recently.
Even amidst the joy of victory and the love of his family, the sorrow and loss of his brother hung heavy over him, a lingering echo of a bittersweet goodbye.
Despite the gravity of the situation and the weight of the bittersweet goodbye, Poseidon knew that he could not allow himself to linger on the past for long. The world was still reeling from the effects of the battle and he had to prioritize his family and the well-being of mankind. With a heavy heart, Poseidon bowed his head and paid his respects to his brother, who had sacrificed himself for the sake of all creation. Then, with a sense of resolve, the lord of the ocean set his sights on the future and the responsibility that he now bore upon his shoulders.
