Rebuild Phase 1
The group touched down onto the surface, the impact softened to them landing like they barely jumped an inch off the ground. They saw what the world had become, and it was stinky to smell so much blood mixed with sulfur smoke. "Balls, this place is gonna need some serious remodeling once we take back what we can. Bet some of these guys are full on zesty. Well, a different kind than Merlin of course, all this time and he's a virgin." G mocked, but Merlin ended up hitting him over the head, to which G laughed off because he knew he deserved it for talking like that. They looked around to see the world in ruin and in utter chaos, rabid wild animals running around snarling, flames flickered on the ground as the smoke from destroyed buildings rose into the sky, with people fused with animals in grotesque forms.
"Well shit. We got work to do. Let's get to work, first with pest control." Shikom said while firing beams of energy from his fingers in a spread-shot. Then a swarm of flies came together in a ball, and from that ball emerged a woman that had large fly wings, and was completely nude yet was covered in fine scales from her neck to her feet. "Who the hell are all of you?" she asked, but everyone just kept shooting down birds. The woman was fed up, shooting a beam from her eyes at them, but G reflected it with a slap of his hand. "Okay, seriously, fly your beta lookin', no man gettin', home wrecking insectoid ass on outta here, before I show you what this trident do. Who knows, you might like the penetration since you get none here." he said in a mocking tone, brandishing his trident. The woman became enraged, flying down at him like a dart and making spikes come out of her arm in order to stab G right in his eyes.
However at the last moment, he stopped her charge with just the tip of his fingers, and kicked her away into a building with enough force to break it in half. "What an annoying bug. Anyways, I think I have a great idea where we should start to rebuild. The clothing shop where we went on that school trip." G exclaimed, already heading there. Merlin thought back to that, and realized his summoning power. That and he realized he didn't exactly have a proper graduation, it was interrupted by the events of the last 12 years, but he was happy nonetheless. As they went, they saw the utter devastation that ravaged the streets, wondering how it got this bad. Rikusa looked at Shikom, seeing how much he grew, and then he saw a familiar cloud flying downward to them, and a familiar monkey beastman. "Haha! It's me, Ukog, and you jerks really left me behind so many times before all this. You suck dammit!!" he yelled. Everyone thought back, realizing that they never informed Ukog about what they were doing, and felt embarrassed they forgot about their friend. Ukog asked for a kiss on Merlin's lips as payment, to which he agreed, but ended up making him kiss his palm instead as a joke and rubbing his head.
"That was just cruel. I just wanted to see why everyone liked you so much mister Romeo. I mean all the guys just seem to like you. Rikusa, G, Shikom, Ollie, Manson, Xiro. Seriously, what gives?" he asked. Merlin wasn't even sure how to answer that since he just seemed naturally drawn to them, even if he wasn't sure how to properly tell them he's into them. Just then, Manga began making the ground glow with large magical circuits, the landscape began to fill with a purple mist that came from the ground, purifying the air around them and changing the buildings to look brand new, and shiny like chrome. The lights shimmered with a neon glow, as the process was done.
"And that lady and gents, is the first step to rebuilding. We're going to use terraforming magick to reshape everything, and we're going to combine both magick and the quantum. And hopefully, get ourselves back on track fast. I doubt these baddies are gonna sit on their flatter than pancake asses waiting for us to make moves now that they know we're alive." Magna said, looking up at the sky, seeing that a large section of the clouds was now gone, showing the sky was getting darker, and soon it would be night. "We should go rest for the day, we've pretty much been walking around blasting bugs and birds. Tomorrow we hit a bigger target, and win." Magna said as everyone began to fly up.
Just then, Ukog got a sense that something fast was heading their way, and used his cloud to shield everyone from a massive lance made of wood flying at them faster than sound. "Damn, they sent an apostle after us? The hell, that's not fair!" he yelled, but he knew that these enemies never played fair. The apostle was just a man fused with a massive black bird, his eyes looked animalistic, yet the power coming off of him was enough to make anyone sink to their knees. Rikusa charged at him like a canon ball, he was obviously afraid but he didn't want to let anyone get caught. Morgan and Shikom joined in, but somehow they weren't able to damage him at all, even with their strongest attacks. The apostle just laughed, blasting them away with a massive blast of wind. It then began to talk. "You gain strength. Yet it was all in vain. Prepare to die." he said, as he aimed for Shikom, but Rikusa got in the way, getting his left arm cut off cleanly like a hot knife through butter. He didn't show a pained reaction, as Shikom attacked back, managing to land an attack on the apostle's face.
"I knew this would happen. Hey Shikom. Drink my blood, and take my arm." he said. Shikom hesitated, his fangs sharpened to bite into Rikusa's neck. But after Merlin pushed him a bit, he bit into Rikusa's neck, absorbing his blood through his fangs as Rikusa's body began to melt into a black substance that melted into Shikom's shadow. Shikom thought to himself. "Rikusa, thank you. I didn't know that willingly taking blood would be like this. You'll be safe with me, as a shadow familiar. And we'll kick ass as a duo." he thought. Rikusa gave a smile as he fully dissolved, resting within Shikom's shadow, as his severed arm began to fuse with Shikom's, turning it pitch black with a large white spot on the back of his hand.
"Nice job. Now let's get our asses outta here." Merlin said as he kicked up a large dust tornado, allowing everyone to escape, the apostle looking around, realizing he lost them completely. Everyone went back to the moon, and gathered materials to make a large panda figure made of leaves and wood, and with a flower crown on the top of the head. They sat on their knees, and put their hands together with their eyes closed, clearly for a ceremony for the dead. After about 30 minutes, they stood up, and scattered the leaves into the wind. They didn't have sadness in their eyes, but smiles on their faces, and soft tears in their eyes as their friend was dead, but he wasn't gone forever. They then began to formulate a new plan in order to make a better impact.
