Hidden Dungeon-2, Exposed?

Aren looked at Reto as his brain's gears turned fast.

"Hahaha, well, that's impossible. How could someone of his level see the traps?" Kozark laughed out loud as he spoke with disdain.

Lamila also nodded and thought, 'Indeed, Reto also can't see the traps, but due to one of his abilities that is fortune-type, he is able to sense those blessings.'

"Right," Reto nodded as he grinned with narrowed eyes while looking at Aren, "It seems you three are quite lucky and unlucky both, hehehe. Let's see if you manage to get any blessing in the next trap paths. Now come one, start moving!"

"Al-alright..." Aren spoke with a stammer as he turned around and started walking.

With his Astral-X eyes, he saw traps and saw two golden sparky areas this time.

'Since Reto wasn't hurt and even purposefully moved there, it shouldn't be a trap. So...is it really a blessing?' Aren thought as he slowly moved towards the area with blessing but walked in zig-zag and random form.

After walking for a few more steps, he neared the golden sparky area and...finally put one of his legs on it.

Right as he put his leg on it, Aren heard a voice and saw notifications, but he acted as nothing had happened and continued moving as he reached the safe zone.

He looked at Reto, who was still focused on the trap path, 'It seems that he can't sense those golden sparky areas from afar. But...interestingly, the thing about blessing was true.'

[ You have received a temporary blessing: Sunfire Burst.]

<Sunfire Burst>

-Type: Blessing.

-Effect 1: All of your attacks will be included with scorching hot Sunfire and will deal tremendous damage and unhealable injuries to the target.

-Effect 2: Additionally, your attacks will deal flat 10,000 fire damage that will ignore all forms of defense of the opponent.

-Note 1: You can activate this blessing by thinking about it, and once activated, it will only last for one minute.

-Note 2: This blessing will only work while you are inside the hidden dungeon: Demon Yakum's Underground Temple.

'Should I let Mom or auntie get the second blessing? Never mind, it's too late for now. Also, Reto might get suspicious if he didn't sense any blessings in this path later,' Aren thought as he focused on guiding his mother through the path to the safe zone.

Aren then let his mother and auntie Hemila pass the trap path before the traps decreased considerably.

"Follow me!" Reto said as he started moving ahead as always.

But after walking several steps and nearing the second blessing, he stopped and said something to Lamila.

Although Aren and others saw that they were talking, they couldn't hear it.

Lamila then moved towards the left side and received the blessing.

But while they were coming to the safe zone, Aren was not idle as he told his mom and others about the blessing and told them that he would guide them towards blessing.

Aren--'Keep in mind to not act surprised and stay naturally when you hear the voice and see the notification.'

It was unfortunate that Quinn and Luna wouldn't be able to get one since the first three to move are set to Aren, Lorain, and Hemila because apparently, "They are very lucky."

But Aren felt that Reto was not buying that lucky bull shit from how Reto looked at him.

After everyone got to the safe zone, they continued moving.

This time, Aren didn't see any blessings in this trap path. Nonetheless, he moved and avoided the traps before reaching the safe zone and led his mother and auntie Hemila to the safe zone as well.

"Hehehe, I guess we don't need two of you," Reto said wickedly as he looked at Quinn and Luna before looking at Aren, "Say boy, you can really see the traps, right?"

Reto conjured a blue fireball in his hand before pointing it towards Quinn.

"N-Noo....Don't!" Hemila shouted.

"Hahaha, answer me truthfully, or I will kill both of them right now! Anyway, we don't need them since you three are sufficiently 'lucky' hahaha."

Luna and Quinn looked at Aren with helpless and angered expressions. What a suffocating situation they've landed themselves in...sigh.

"I can see the traps," Aren answered truthfully as he nodded with a grimace, "Let them go, and I will lead you ahead safely."

"Humph, otherwise what?" Kozark spoke with a snort.

Aren gritted his teeth as he said with a maddening expression, "Otherwise, we will all die here!"

"Y-you...Stop blowing false horn, rascal!" Kozark said angrily.

"Hahaha, what good news! Since you can see the traps, then it makes things easier," Reto licked his lips with a grin, "I will not kill them, don't worry. But you will lead us to the end without using any tricks. Although your acting is not bad, It's not perfect either, hehehe."

Aren took a deep breath as he said with a dark expression, "Your acting as well."

"Hahaha, true, true," Reto laughed out loud before he said with a grin, "Alright, now follow me!"

He started walking forward while others followed him. But when he was nearing the safe zone, he frowned and looked at Aren, "Can you also see blessing areas?"

Aren frowned and said, "Isn't that something you made up to give us hope of surviving?"

Lamila looked at Reto before she looked at Aren and snorted, "Of course not. There are really blessings in these wide paths full of traps."

Reto looked deeply at Aren while Aren shook his head with confusion, "My ability is not that special, I can only see white sparks littered on these paths, and I just avoid them while moving. I don't know which among those white sparks are traps or blessings."

Reto narrowed his eyes before grinning, "Alright. It's enough that you can see the traps and lead us. I promise you that once we clear this dungeon, I'll let you all go."

'Like hell I would believe that...' Aren thought internally while showing surprising expressions outside, "Really? Alright, I'll lead the way."

He then turned around as he started moving to the next trap path area while others also started walking.

While walking, Aren started thinking something with a sharp glint passing through his eyes.
