Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor. 41. Spirit Grandmaster dungeon boss

The arm of the lizard man flew in the air and he smiled. He wasn't even feeling nauseous about the blood or anything and with a clean slice he decapitated the first one.

"Well that one was pretty weak," Silas mumbled and then he heard multiple growling around him and he frowned as he got into a stance and held his blade in front of him.

As he opened his eyes, his body began to fade and then his real body vanished and a light slashed the lizard men that appeared around him to pieces and then his image suddenly moved.

He smiled as he saw the results of this battle.

'I have really reached a high level of the shadow veil slash. This technique is simply overpowered.' Silas thought and then he smiled before charging towards another group.

He saw that Lara, Silver and Prince were going for the weaker ones first. He then saw one of the spirit masters going towards the group with a very high speed and then he charged towards the first one with precision.

They held chains in their hands with spiked balls at the ends and as it was waved towards the trio, Prince was the first one to notice it.

He immediately looked back and his eyes widened. A silhouette suddenly flashed before him and Silas appeared in front of him, knocking the chain ball away with a swing of his sword.

He held his sword up in the air before he charged towards the spirit master.

Prince was shocked at Silas' speed, and also he felt as if it was a real death he was going to die just now.

When a player dies, they lose five levels in their cultivation. It was only just recently released to be so.

If a person was a level five spirit master then they would go back to being a level 9 spirit intern.

And cultivating actually took a lot of time, at the master level in cultivation, to reach level five would take a full month of steady meditation and cultivation.

Prince snapped back and he waved his broad sword in a circle while grunting, killing one of the lizard men.

The spirit master notices Silas and then it wrapped the chain around its wrist as it ran towards him and the other one noticed Silas was going for its comrade and immediately headed over there.

Silas felt adrenaline coursing through his veins and he decided to use the creatures size against it.

It waved it's hand towards him and he instantly bent backwards as he slid on the ground. He saw the hand passing over below it and he was shocked at this monstrous speed.

'Argh, I'm only a chi master too.' Silas thought and then he gritted his teeth as he held his sword and then as the creature punched at him he suddenly jumped to the side before vanishing.

It looked around in panic and it's dark eyes suddenly widened and it raised it's hands behind it, blocking a sword that came down towards him.

Silas who suddenly appeared behind it was shocked by this and he looked at the chains to see that his sword had almost completely cut through one.

The lizard man punched him away, sending him flying in one direction and he crashed into the wall of the pit.

The second one headed over with the first one as the both of them growled and then purple aura suddenly surged from the dust which rose from the collision.

Silas came out and dashed at the creatures at a much greater speed and then he made sudden movements in a single direction dodging the huge metal balls that were lunged at him.

The both of them followed a pattern as they wrapped the chains around their wrists while holding the ball in one hand.

*ROARRRR!!*

They both let out a loud roar before heading towards Silas.

Silas stepped on the floor and he felt the vibrations of the creatures. It was like he became connected to the earth itself.

'What... Is this feeling?' He was confused.

He felt that the creatures hearts beat wildly in their chests and then he could also feel Lara, Prince, and silver who were still busy with taking care of over thirty lizardmen.

He then saw that the muscles of the one on the right suddenly moved and then he frowned as he jumped up, immediately dodging a sudden strike of that metal ball.

He landed on the ground and then he vanished. The one that struck the ball let out a loud roar as its legs were sliced at its joint and Silas appeared by the other one's side, smiling.

He waved his sword upwards and an arc of chi was sent towards the face of the second one who attempted to block it.

The wave dispersed and the creature looked forward and didn't see the human anymore but then a light came from its side and it's neck suddenly spurted out a stream of blood and Silas only had a smile on his face as he appeared beside it.

'It feels like I always had the memories of this skill. It feels so... natural.' He thought and then the one that tried to escape while gripping its leg.

He jumped up high with his sword held in a stabbing motion and he stabbed the creature in its skull from above, killing it instantly.

Silas then pulled out his sword from its head and at the same time, his other teammates had already finished eliminating the weaker lizardmen.

"Guys..." Prince called out to Lara and Silver end they both looked back to see Silas sitting on the head of the spirit master level lizard man.

"What the hell happened? He took out the both of them?" Silver was very shocked and Lara only looked on with confusion.

They all walked towards him and then he looked back towards them and sheathed his sword.

'Wielding a sword isn't all that, but then, a dagger wouldn't have any effect on this creature.' Silas said with squinted eyes and then let out a breath.

He wasn't too good at using the sword but it was part of the training he got back on earth.

"D–did you really take care of the two of them by yourself? Damn, I think we have to make him a permanent friend," Lara said and the others chuckled.

"We should better take out the spirit cores before the boss shows up," Silver said and then Silas smiled as he nodded.

All of a sudden his heart skipped a beat as he felt something approaching from behind and then he turned around.

"Get out of the way!!" He shouted as he raised his hand and then a pitch black barrier appeared which blocked an incoming flame attack.

"It's the boss!! Get ready!!" Prince shouted as he gripped his sword tightly and Silas dismissed the shield to see the most terrifying creature he had seen so far.
