Nevian's POV
For a few weeks now, I have been working on an abandoned project that Lance was supposed to handle.
It was crystal clear to all what I was doing but they all chose to ignore me but now that I have completed the contract, Auntie Ann, Lance's favorite aunt was here to bully me and take my sweat from me.
"I'm not going to do that." I snapped and for a moment, everyone went still, exchanging glances in silence.
Asking Khloe to leave was the top most thing on my mind and despite all my signals which she had seen all right, asking her to leave, she didn't budge.
"What did you just say?" Auntie Ann asked, causing me to step forward with a puffed out chest.
"I was the one who oversaw that work. The project was abandoned when it's crucial to the growth of the company, you don't expect me to sit back and pretend not to see it." I snarled, clenching my fists by my side.
