Chapter ２５

Alexia's POV

But things got more complicated when Abby Williams and Johnny Evans, my ex-boyfriend, appeared.

"You bitch, how dare you hit my mother!" Abby rushed at me like crazy and wanted to hit me. Maybe she was too shocked after seeing Johnny was also present.

I couldn't dodge, but Calvin protected me. Then I realized Abby was going to hit me. I held Calvin's hand tightly and looked at him. I thought he was going to accuse me of hitting him, but he didn't. He just looked at me tenderly. There was support in his eyes. 

"Does your hand hurt?" He asked. Calvin took my hand right to his lips and kissed it.

"Who's that?" Johnny's voice rang out, and I knew Calvin was intentionally making an intimate move. 

Johnny was furious and tried to pull me to his side.

But Calvin wouldn't let him; he dodged Johnny's hand and held me tightly in his arms.

"Who is he?" Calvin asked me.

 I met his gaze, and I had a feeling that Calvin seemed to know Johnny.
