Blackmailing

Ryan looked at her eyes filled with determination and nervousness,he was surprised she took the next step and decided to have some fun.

"And why will i marry you when i have a lot of women at my beck and call"he said.

"Then what's the reason for saving me in that fire, you could have left me there to die since you've saved me in the hands of my sister and for me to die completely in her hands. Then it's better i go to her and let her finish me up"she was getting down from the bed while biting her lips due to the pain that shot through her body from her ankles, Ryan held her wrist and smirked looking at her.

"You're really blackmailing me, you know that i could be the one to destroy you in just a matter of seconds"he said codly,no man born of a woman has ever tried this before, blackmailing him even when he saved her,can she get any shameless.

"Am not blackmailing you, since you won't marry me, then let me go and meet my parents in heaven"she shamelessly said.

"You couldn't have fallen for me so what do you want in return?"he said even though he would be really glad to hear that she has fallen for him.

"I need my revenge against my sister and stuart, since they haven't knew that am alive,i need your backing to get my revenge"she said not moving again.

"So in other words,you want to use me to get your revenge"he summarized her words as her lips twitch a bit.

"yes" she nodded helplessly, he released her and smiled.

"okay"he accepted without hesitation, she raised her right brow suprised at his nonchalant attitude towards her suggestion, she had never thought he would accept her so easily, she thought she would have to persuade him a little bit more before he could answer.

"are you sure?"she bit her lips, she herself wasn't sure if she's ready for marriage especially to a man she barely know but had heard on TV and read on news papers.

"Are you being hesitant?, before now,you were being bold, even blackmailing me. what happened?"he said in a mocking tone as she looked down.

Then she thought of Marina and Stuart leaving happily ever after while she's suffering,her eyes flashed something unfathomable as she looked up but this time her eyes showed with determination.

"Am ready, do you want to go get married"she just wanted them to go to the civil bureau affairs office and register.

"you don't need to, have already registered for us already"her eyes widened with surprise.

"why did you do that?, how sure are you that we're gonna get married?, what if i don't propose the deal"she asked him and he answered with a shrug.

He stood up"rest, I'll be right back"he walked away as she cursed beneath her breath, she lied on the bed looking at the ceiling with her hands neatly folded on her stomach as she thought of her painful betrayal, she was really disappointed in her sister and stuart.

She unknowingly drifted off to sleep, Ryan opened the door softly and saw her sleeping on the bed peacefully,he couldn't help but let a small smile escape his lips.

He finally made her his, his search for her was definitely not in vain but the question bothering his mind was that is she her?, she looks at her,talks like her,has the same temperament as her but her actions speak otherwise.

He closed the door shortly after looking at her and resisting the urge to hug her in his arms and kiss her forehead lovingly while whisphering sweet words into her ears making her giggle at his warm breath.
