"Seth, please sit down", Ruby said in a shaky voice. She cleared her throat lightly that if one didn't listen closely, would not have heard the sound. Ruby felt like she was walking on eggshells and this was exactly what she hated about hiding things.
Ruby hated it, it made her feel like protecting something and it also came with the fear of that thing being discovered. It almost gave her a heart attack.
Ruby had known this from her younger years and now when she would have avoided it and told Seth all about the person she loved, it looked like she was not being a truthful person.
That was how Ruby was feeling. She felt guilty.
"I will sit down when you've given me an answer, My Princess', Seth said. With that, Seth had a small smile on his lips, which left just the way it had come.
Ruby could see the sadness now in Seth's eyes.
