The moment he left Celeste's hospital room, Richard's expression immediately became cold. Like the calm before a storm, his eyes became expressionless even though anger was churning inside of him. Despite smiling and teasing Celeste, every time she flinched, seeing her in pain and trying to smile through it, every moment was embedded in his brain, a memory he would never be able to forget.
