Anastasia and Tilla were inside Tilla’s bedchamber. Anastasia was quietly sitting on the sofa whereas Tilla was lying down on her bed.

It was already dusk by now and the two of them had exhausted the topics to talk about.

Vincent, on the other hand, had disappeared from the mansion after talking with Anastasia in the morning.

His heart, however, weighed heavy, bound by the secret of Anastasia. He had promised her that he wouldn’t be the one to let the secret out to Caspian. He wanted Anastasia to be the one to confide in Caspian and make things right.

“Anna…” Tilla finally broke the silence in the room and asked, “Are you planning on staying here tonight? If so, I shall ask Penelope to prepare everything for you.” As it was getting dark and Anastasia wasn’t showing any interest in returning to the castle, Tilla wondered if she had planned to stay the night.

However, Anastasia shook her head as her eyes kept on staring aimlessly outside the window.
