Chapter Nighty-Eight

As the flames licked away the death covering Ollie, Kate held her breath she wanted this to work so badly, she had already lost Amanda. She didn't think she would be able to handle losing him too, and with her new status as goddess, she would have to live an eternity knowing she wasn't able to save him.

"Your flames are waning, Kate," Hekate leaned in and whispered in her ear, "You may have the powers of a goddess, but if you don't believe in the power you hold this will not work." Kate nodded, she was right, Squeezing her eyes tighter she pulled a little harder on her magick and felt her flames amp up.
