Chapter Eighty-Two

 The second Aphrodite was gone Kate released her fire and began to search for the ball of light Aphrodite had dropped. She looked and looked but it was nowhere to be found, she put a hand to her chest feeling the empty place her love for him had filled. She wanted to be sad, she wanted to cry but the emotions, the feelings never came, she wondered if it would always be that way, and where her love for him had gone.

 "Are you okay?" Ollie ran up to her and put both hands on her shoulders staring her down and looking for any signs of injury. 

 Kate did a mental check, she was sore from Aphrodite's lightning and still a little worried about losing her love for Zagryus but she nodded, "I think I am okay."

 "Excuse me?" a small voice asked from behind Kate, she turned to see a beautiful, dark-skinned woman standing there looking lost and confused.

 "Yes?" Kate asked cautiously.
