Chapter Two

Emily's POV (✿^‿^)

I sat down on the table , and mum brought a plate of waffles and orange juice over to me .

" Woah , you look good hun ", mum said , and I smiled .

" Thanks mum ", I said , and she walked over to the kitchen counter to get her own food , then she brought it to the table , and sat opposite me .

I reached for the strawberry syrup , and I put it on my waffles , and I began eating .

" Is everything okay , you seem rather cold ", mum said , and I remained quiet . I wasn't the type that liked to talk alot , so why was she being suspicious ? Maybe she could just sense that I was hiding something .

" I'm fine , I'm just a little worried about the test ", I said , and why I was lying , I wasn't lying , because I was actually worried about the test , but the reason for my mood wasn't actually the test , I was worried because of my wolf , I couldn't keep going like this . I felt really different , I felt odd .

" Oh don't worry hun , I'm sure you'd do fine ", mum said , and that made me feel somewhat better . I got up , and carried my bag .

" Mum , I'll be leaving for school now ", I said .

" Are you sure you aren't going to eat more ", mum asked , sounding concerned as always .

" Nah , I'll be fine ", I said , and i turned to leave .

" Bye hun ", I heard her say .

" Bye mum ", I said and left .

I walked to school , and the class was somewhat empty . Not everyone was in class , at least the people that mattered weren't in class yet , but I just couldn't walk inside , without bending my head , looking down . Shame was written all over me . I was disappointed at myself , I was disappointed at my wolf .

I felt someone hug me , and I noticed it was Tara , my best friend .

" Hey Emily ", she said .

" Hey Tara ", I said , and we walked over to our sit .

" Don't tell me that you are still thinking about all that happened yesterday ", Tara said , noticing my mood .

" Not exactly ", I said , and I heard the sound of people laughing . I looked up to see people walking in through the door .

It was Hayley , Craig , Diane and Lily . They were the pure definition of trouble , and I knew that I was going to have a lot of salt on my wound by the end of the day .

Hayley , she was really tall , around 5'7 , she had long blonde hair , really straight that I wondered how she even managed it . She was the boss of the class , well maybe the queen bee , but everyone did what she wanted , and if you had a fight with her , then you are as good as never existing . She is the daughter of a very rich and respected Alpha , so she is treated as royalty .

Craig , the guy of the group . He was the soon to be Alpha of his pack , he is Hayley's older brother , and sometimes I think he's the reason she even has her fame . Craig , is really cold , and he likes to play pranks on people , he's really cute tho , making him every girl's dream guy .

Diane and Lily , they were Hayley's friends , they were also from her pack , and they followed every single order she gave , they are almost her puppets .

" Tara , I have a feeling that something is going to go wrong ", I whispered to Tara , and Hayley turned to me .

" Oh , if it isn't lil miss weak wolfie ", Hayley teased me , and I wished the ground would open and swallow me . I felt really humiliated . I shouldn't have come to school .
